Wonderful!

Port Palace Hotel was an excellent choice for staying in Monaco. I had a very nice, spacious room on an upper floor with an outstanding view, comfortable bed, and great bathroom. The staff were very helpful with check-in and providing information on getting around. The location seemed very convenient. If coming from the sncf station, there is a covered pathway with escalators that gets you most of the way to the hotel. You're also right on the marina with easy access to the water taxi and nearby bus stop. I didn't eat at the restaurant on the top floor, but it looked popular. Would stay again on my next trip to Monaco.

It was just amazing!!! A must do for everyone!! Sights and shopping number 1.

Amazing location. Travelled with my husvand and our 8 year old daughter. We had a great room with a view. The la moma restaurant at the 6th floor had breathtaking views. Walkimg distance to the Casino, shops and restaurants. The only negative, the gym was not up to standards. However we were able to use Hercules Fitness thats 5 min walk. Only $25 fee for a day.

The location was great. Waking distance from shopping and Monte Carlo. The hotel was very old and smelly.

Nice rooms. Nice restaurant on the top floor but loud recorded music throughout the meal, which I personally find hard to take. But it’s somewhat the norm in Europe.

Fantastic location

Beautiful property and the staff was great! From arranging transportation to the cold champagne waiting in our room, they were very friendly and helpful! Highly recommend!

Reception staff were excellent in accommodating our requests.

Both the room, the view and the service was exceptional. Only thing that wasn’t exceptional was the breakfast, but except for that, everything was great.

It was a good location for access to the boats during the Grand Prix

The Port Palace is a lovely hotel, or rather collection of bedrooms, all facing the harbour, with a reception area and small bar on the ground floor and restaurant on the sixth floor. The room was spacious and very clean, with fridge and mini bar, large bathroom and bathrobe. It was a shame there were no complimentary slippers. There is a turndown service in the evening. Some amenities in the bathroom were not replaced. The main drawback for some might be that the rooms only have one road between them and the harbour, which also forms part of the Grand Prix track, so during my stay in April, some evenings it was noisy outside with locals deciding to have a race on the “track”.

We stayed 4 nights at the Hotel Port Palace in a junior suite. The room and view were wonderful and the staff were friendly. The first 2 nights we had very broken sleep due to the noise (loud music after 11.45pm - then cleaning, and banging noises after that) from the restaurant, 1 floor above. We were told the restaurant was a separate entity when we called to complain. The next morning we asked to be moved and wasted 4 hours while the hotel staff tried to make this happen. We were eventually moved 2 levels below the original room. The new unit had the same loud music and banging noises! We would NOT stay here again.

We have been coming to the hotel now for thirteen years, however felt quite disappointed on this occasion. On arrival we went to our room on the 5th floor. Little did we know how utterly noisy this one. As we were directly under the restaurant. All through dinner service till approx 3am we had to endure tables scraping and consistent noise, then for breakfast service from approx 5:30am. This happened on both Friday and Saturday. Sunday we managed to savage a little sleep but our short stay was over. The cleanliness and amenities in the room were very disappointing under the dressing table area by the bin it looked as though someone had thrown a drink up the wall but this had not been cleaned, we had to ask for toilet paper, and on this occasion we actually did require the seeing kit and this was empty. The breakfast has always been small and delicious, however every morning the hot items were freezing cold and very rarely replenished. It’s like the standards have slipped sadly. And they me be very minor things but this isn’t the standard other guests would expect when maybe visiting for the first time. We always favoured the Port Palace over any of the other hotels due to the location. However I do feel there are now far better hotels for sometimes a lot less money. Very dissatisfied on this occasion.

Great location. Spacious rooms. Kind staff, especially those who are in charge of parking. They are the best.

Excellent location, fantastic views of the harbour and Grand Prix track and all the amazing yachts. Staff extremely welcoming, and friendly, hotel clean, rooms well equipped (except the lack of coffee/tea in room however we had read reviews about this so took our own). Regular room service, also opportunity not to be disturbed in the morning and cleaners would come back in the afternoon if sign changed over later in day! ! Only issue we had was trying to work out the lights - some lights appeared to be on a sensor and nighttime difficult to operate so has to turn all off and use a torch fir bathroom visits so as not to light the whole room up. Lovely welcome touch of chocolates and wine in our room as a honeymoon treat Definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again if I ever get to visit Monaco again!!

Everything was spot on perfect and the staff was super friendly! The rooftop restaurant was a big plus and also excellent, as was the location right on the harbour.

One of the best hotels that we have ever stayed at. Staff was amazing. Room was super clean and very comfortable. We are looking forward to staying here again.

In general property is very good and a good location, Check-in was not a good experience, We have to wait after check-in hours when everybody else was getting their room as soon as they were getting to the location.
