Not towels in the room non smoking room smells like smoke 1 pillow for 2 people don't work I actually left the place within 2 hours .

My room had no towels at all. I could head other occupants

When we entered the room, it smelled like cigarette smoke even though it was a nonsmoking room. There were no towels and the front desk refused to give us towels until the next morning at 8am. They gave us blue towels with stains on them. When I awoke in the middle of the night, I was bitten by something and had an itchy red bump on my arm. I believe it was bed bugs. I did not complete my stay, and checked out early.

Horrible! I'm still having a nightmare everytime i think about the hotel stay. There was a lot of bugs under the bed cover. Totally disgusting! See photos. There was more bugs but didnt take photos of all. Room was dirty esp the corners.

Whete to start:
* The horrible cigarettes smell lingering in a non smoking room and section.
* The cigarette burns on the bed sheets that for some reason weren't replaced.
*The only 1 towel in my room with the front desk telling me they have none available and to call the GM in the morning.
*The 3 am physical altercation in the room next to mine and management with security knocking on the door like the cops

*The dilapidated esthetics of the property
*The shower head being chest level (I'm 5'10).
*The slow draining bathroom sink.
*The 3rd times a charm flush in the bathroom.
*The outdated Non HD TV in the room.

I get it, I didn't stay at a 5 star hotel and I paid a really good price for the night. But things that management can control for the essential services that everyone should have at any hotel js something this Hotel 6 failed miserably on. A sorry 1 out of 5 and lower if I could rating for this hotel.

I was charged extra because I wanted to check in early because I was tired. I go into the room and it was bare. No towels, no shampoo or conditioner like all of the other places I’ve stayed at. The place was noisy and I couldn’t find an elevator to go up to the 3rd floor. I was exhausted so I didn’t even try to complain to the manager. I would never recommend this place

The property is old, they have to change our room because sheets were wet, the new room smelled like cigarettes, no towels, no soap, we have to go and ask for it. They give us 2 old towels and told us we have to exchange it every morning. Mattress very uncomfortable, springs you can feel it in your bones, very noisy outside in the middle of the night,

I got a non smoking room and the room smell like someone smoked for years in there the sheets are burned and the bed feet old and have some holes on the matters I had to buy a candle because the smell was really bad and the, I will NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN and on top of that the service has HORRIBLE!!! the cleaning lady was RUDE

Where to start?!? Hair in the floor of the bathroom. Floor in bedroom was so dirty my socks turned black. The bed cover was stained. Asked for a replacement and got a blanket that smelled like it had been used.

Sadly we found 3 cockroaches inside the room wich was not good. It was very difficulty to sleep since the people in the room above us were making so much noise. Not the hotel's fault necessarily, but you could hear what was happening outside the room as well. We were tired and wanted to rest and were not able to.

Over priced. Few aminities. Bed was ok pillows suck. Tv sucks. No phone charger ports that worked. Asked the desk if they had a loaner charger and cord, No.motels have dozens of cords. And chargers left from people. Lie. 1 towel in a room for 2. Room was ok clean.

I checked in August 10 around 6:30pm and left at 7:20pm, wasn’t even there an hour and I had to find somewhere else to sleep. I’m a non smoker and the room was a non Smoking room as it should but, the smell of cigarette was horrible it gave me a horrible headache and let’s not talk about the invested room of roaches. Going up to my room in the elevator should have been my red flag it had roaches crawling where you push the button to go up to your floor.

WORST MOTEL 6 EVER!!!! Leaks in my room... no cleaning service in our room, unless i told them to clean our room... I had my 6 year old daughter and the only thing she said she liked was that she had a table to eat on.... never again will i stay at this Motel 6 location... would be nice if i got a refund or a partial refund but i know that wont happen

It was a nice getaway for my lady and I. The room was clean and the air conditioning was nice and cold. I just wish I had more time to just relax. Maybe next time. Thank you to the staff and mostly to the manager who is kind and efficient.

I got two nights and I didn't stay a full night each night at about midnight each night I left because the television stopped working and they said they were full and could not move rooms. Also the security guard was just playing on his phone and there seem to be a mechanic operating out of the back of the parking lot. And then there were questionable men that looked like they were keeping watch and posting up. 7 years ago I stayed at this place and it was very nice and clean and felt safe now it's the exact opposite. I requested a refund

Great location with friendly staff, had everything we needed. I would recommend this place for a short stay in SD. Location was close to freeway, had many good restaurants within walking distance.

This was the worst experience with a hotel I've ever had. The desk clerk kept me and other people waiting. There was an empty beer can on the a/c unit. There was no anti-slip material on the floor of the shower and no grab rails in the shower. I asked for a handicap room and the desk clerk showed us a room with no non-slip material and no grab rails. We'll never again stay at a Motel 6.

I recently stayed at Motel 6 Chula Vista, CA and, unfortunately, my experience was quite negative. I felt unsafe during my stay due to the behavior of the people in the room across from mine. They were constantly staring at me and my room every time I left or entered. I called the front desk to request a room closer to the lobby, hoping to feel safer, but the attendant dismissed my request and didn't follow up.
The only positive aspect was that security was asked to patrol my floor more frequently, which was the main reason I didn't check out earlier.
Additionally, the room itself was in poor condition. It was dirty, old-looking, and the windows were rusty and didn't seem to shut properly. Overall, I hope to never stay at this location again if I can avoid it.

This place is terrible. Room had no internet, tv didn’t work, had terrible cell service. Bed kept sliding off the bed frame when moving. Only had 1 pillow. Only got 1 towel for 2 people. Bums and drug addicts hang around the hotel day and night. Looks like skid row. I advise to spend the extra money and go somewhere nicer. Do not make the same mistake I did.

This place has always been questionable but it has great food options & is right across from the trolley, making it incredibly convenient to hop over to Gaslamp but over the last couple years customer service has gotten worse, check-in is a nightmare with guests having to wait 2 or more hours after 3pm to check in 'cause rooms aren't ready. Meanwhile front of house staff hangs out out front smoking.
There used to be security on-site making sure your vehicle had a parking permit and security would confirm last name to room number, they don’t do that any more. This place would sell-out with Comicon goers during the convention, now its more of long term unhoused individuals, lots of drugs and crime in area, requires frequent patrolling from Chula Vista PD. After 20 years of attending Comicon and staying here, this was surely our last.

The hotel is dirty, so filthy! I will not stay ever again in this hotel. I felt unsafe staying here someone kept calling our room asking if we needed a company. Do not stay here and for the price of $300 you would expect a better service and clean room but no. And the linens are old and worn out. The hotel staff was rude too!

Not in a great area. I’d be hesitant to be outside after dark for very long. However, there’s a Black Angus and a McDonald’s that abut the property, and the area is well lighted, so dining nearby is a plus. Overall, it was exactly as I expected - I was only there for one night for a flight the next morning.

Please be aware that property seemed to be used to house homeless and those coming out of being incarcerated. This led to suspicious people around the property. Room smelled like urine and front desk will not respond. Garbage was overflowing in garbage cans near the stairs.

Room was disgusting and had no knob or lock on the bathroom. There were bugs all over the room. We had to go somewhere else and when we asked about a refund we were told no and had to pay for the two days. I wish this place would close for good. Staff was horrible. Do not stay here ever.

We had issues with our room keys multiple times but the staff was always happy to fix the issue. They close one of the gates after a certain time, it would be helpful to tell guests that so they won’t be surprised like we were.

When i checked in i always check the bed sheets. I pulled entire bed sheets off and i seen blood on the sheets. I ran into a housekeeper or whoever it was. I told her i have sirty sheets on my bed. So a older lady and gentlemen came by to change my sheets. The lady said to me she sont like working here. I told her about the bed sheets that it was a safety and health hazard. Absolutely disgusting i would never stay at this Motel 6 again. The first night i was there i noticed a security guard, but not the second night. There was alot of pot heads around. The other thing was i only got one bath towel and 1 hand towel. I asked for more and was told to return the used ones. Also they dont have bathroom amenities to provide. Im just i got through my 2 nights there. The first night the room next to me was wide open and a guy just passed out on the bed. I dont recommend anyone to stay here. For all this i give 1 star.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights, we got a queen bed and it only had one pillow we asked for another pillow the first night but didn’t get one until the last night. There was a trash can that had been overflowing the whole time we were there which smelt awful when we walked towards our room, also was not taken out till the last night.
