There is an odor of the room as musky maybe due to being old. I had a roll in shower king bed room. But The shower head is far from the seat itself its located on the opposite direction. So I asked for a shower chair from front desk. They said that they dont have one. When I visited Seattle I also stayed at Marriott and same thing happened. The housekeeping brainstormed when I asked for a shower chair. Though they didn’t have one but they bought one from Walgreens to accommodate my needs and request. This Marriott in Chicago, they just bluntly says they don’t have one. I told them that I still needed it. I hanged up and expecting someone will follow up with me regarding the status of my request. Unfortunately I never heard from front desk and until we checked out no one had the courtesy to follow up on it. Good thing my husband can stretch the shower hose to the opposite corner that I was able to take a shower. But it was hard. Now I know I will never use Marriott and will just stick to my usual the Hiltons Hotels brand.

1st room I checked into had strong cigarette smoke smell. Staff was prompt to move me to a new room that was clean and smelled good. However, myself and a coworker stayed on 2 different floors and we both noticed heavy staining on the carpets in the hallways. Which was the same situation when we stayed at the property 3 months ago. This place is in need of a deep cleaning.

We checked in and our room had no bath towels or hand soap. Also the molding by the shower was rotted and noticed bugs and dirt in this corner that looked like it hadn’t been touched in awhile. Otherwise property was nice and comfortable.

Dated hotel, poor cleanliness. There was unflushed urine in the first room I was in, and the second they moved me to had dirt on the sheets and smelled of mold. A very dated hotel with lots of patched repairs, but made unbearable by poor cleaning standards--especially for the price. Not worth it.

Really nice property in a good area. Very walkable. Room was clean, bathroom was spacious, and air conditioning was fierce. They should, however, invest in newer mattresses and nicer pull out couches. The bed was not that firm and kind of sunken in and I don't know how anyone could sleep on the pull out couch; you could feel every spring.

Perfect place to drop bags and explore the surrounding area, while having a quiet and safe room to return to. Very accommodating staff helped us get into our room very early when we got into town ahead of schedule. Would stay here again

Overall good property that is in a great location. Walking distance to the pier, great restaurants, the river and the theater district.
Rooms have a little wear and tear on them but have all the amenities for a fair price for the location.

First impression lobby - nothing special. Room looked ok. Only two large towels for three guests. AC rattling all night long. I felt tempted to tell the receptionist but didn't think I would get fixed. Glue-down plank flooring peeling off in some parts of the room. You can hear the traffic so well you would think the windows are open. Good location though.

Hotel didn’t seem clean. Stains on rugs in the hallway, mildew in bathroom - staff was friendly and accommodating but probably won’t stay there again.

I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff there are very friendly and helpful, especially Emily, who assisted with our late check-out due to our midnight flight. The room is very spacious and clean. I will definitely come back again.

The room felt very cold and sterile. Not exactly somewhere you want to spend a lot of time. There were 2 hooks for holding bath towels and both were placed over the toilet. Bathroom door provides almost no privacy. AC hotels are supposed to have Korres toiletries but this one had cheap generic stuff that smelled bad. Pluses were location, free coffee in the AM, and friendly staff.

We get to the room and the toilet cleaner is in the toilet. The toilet seat is hanging by a string.. moves all over the place. Toilet paper holder was broken. The floorboards in the room have large gaps where you can see garbage in between. Too expensive for a room in this condition.

This is a really nice hotel and I liked the room. It was comfortable and spacious. However, I wasnt too happy about the cleanliness situation as there was so much of dust on the surfaces and there was this one spot which had like food stuck on the dry wall which really put me off so I think they definitely need to pay more attention to detail when it comes to having the rooms cleaned. Thats literally the only thing that I can fault it on. Other than that, the location is great and the staff are super sweet and welcoming.

Bath tub is all scratched up, black mold along silicone around edge of tub. The sink was damaged and plugged upon arrival. Damage to wallpaper. The wallpaper had dust bunnies clinging to it near the ceiling in a few places. Very very loud at night due to nighttime activity at nearby casino (motorcycles and cars revving their engines).

They let us check in early. But maybe that's why we got the room as far away as possible. The toilet seat was loose, the sink was plugged, the the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall and the roll fell on the floor. The view was of a back street.
Called and they put us in a new room with a courtyard view of stone walls and rocks. The air conditioner made horrible noises all night.
Probably would never stay there again.
