Always a pleasant stay at a good price. Nice location-easy parking outside of July/August...

I only really required a room for sleeping as I was spending the day with friends. The room selected was very small but adequate for my needs. It was clean with good aircon. The resort is largely for Spanish customers so there was a language issue but it did not impact my stay. The location was great being just yards from the beach.

The room we were given on arrival was in the basement next to the laundry Was dark and tiled walls to mask the damp when we complained we were given a different room but had to pay extra... despite the hotel being far from full

Centrally located by the very nice beach and beach walk. However, I had a very cramped and worn single room which was somewhat depressing. Friendly staff.

Just a quick day and night while getting our car worked on. Staff, room and location are great for the price. Had suggested they get the private hot tub on the rooms terrace operating in the winter as it would have been wonderful to enjoy the sea and the rain from the heated jacuzzi which is under cover from the rain. We'd have been happy to pay a surcharge to use it as I am sure the electric charge is high to keep it heated.

visiting friends and relatives in the area, hotel was a good base clean and cheerful at a good price. And sea views as well. breakfast is simple continental style but second day no cereal was available they had run out and had not replenished stocks.no restaurant facilities at hotel but a very good choice near by and the ones we tried were excellent food.

Friendly staff, hotel very nicely situated close to the beach, the room was quite basic and might need an update to more modern standards

Love this hotel - been a few times now. Small - very friendly - lovely breakfast, very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel highly. Will be booking again for sure !

Nice hotel, conveniently situated, right on the beach surrounded by good restaurants and cafes, all reasonably priced. Also easy to find and handy for travelling along the coast. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Not much choice for breakfast if you take the inclusive package but if you want to purchase something else it's very reasonable. All over a good place to stay.

Nice hotel, conveniently situated, right on the beach surrounded by good restaurants and cafes, all reasonably priced. Also easy to find and handy for travelling along the coast. Lovely staff, great location, very clean and lovely bathroom. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again for longer next time

The hotel location is superb. On the sea front! The staff were exceptionally helpful. Very pleasant. The room was very clean, serviced each day of my stay. The amenities were really good. Torre del Mar is a superb location for exploring the surrounding area!

For a low star hotel we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the rooms and the service given. We used this hotel in January while travelling the south of Spain house hunting, and had previously stayed at a 4 star Golf Club Hotel. OK the rooms were much bigger at the Golf Club but we had no heating the first night and no hot water the next, and the staff were not interested. At the Miraya they couldn't do enough for you. There was a road at the front but only had light traffic, and I would know because being a light sleeper was not disturbed at all. I have already recommended the Miraya to my friends.

With free Wi-Fi, Air Conditioning / Calefaccion, flat-screen TV, Room Safe, Telephone and Fridge you might expect to pay a high price, but at less than £30 a day for Bed & (Continental) Breakfast, I doubt that there could be better value. OK, so I had a single room at the back of the Hotel, but with the Mediterranean at the front door, who would want to be in their room longer than necessary ?? The Staff were welcoming and friendly, despite the lack of a common language between us. They didn't even mock my atrocious attempts at speaking Spanish !! Breakfast was basic, no full English here, but enough to keep me going until lunch. Overall, my stay was a very pleasant one.

A car is not a necessity but we did hire one, there is free parking directly outside the hotel. Malaga airport is only a 30 minute drive and taxis are plentiful, there is also a public bus service from the airport to Torre del Mar. We will definitely return and meanwhile will recommend to all.

This hotel was comfortable and quiet despite being only minutes from beach and town centre. The staff were fantastic, being friendly,patient and helpful at all times of day or night.

The hotel is well placed, on the seafront and only a short walk from many shops and restaurants. We booked at short notice for an overnight stay but the room was ready on time, small but comfortable and very clean with everything we could need. Superb power shower and quality toiletries. Highly recommended and we hope to return for a longer stay. There is no full restaurant but a small café attached which we did not need to use so cannot comment.

There were works outside on the sea front with drilling and noise and they were also doing the same within the hotel all through the day with no apology. The staff were not very helpful when we asked about heating. They advertise sattellite TV but it is Spanish sattellite so no good for Brits and on a cold evening TV is welcome. The maids started at 8 am Spanish time (one hour ahead) if you like a peaceful lie-in don't bother! People came in and out at all times with loud voices and the lift noise. We were offered as part of the "double" package as my friend also booked a double room - a full English breakfast - this consists of coffee, small juice and a roll - share the marmalade and jam!I would never go back there again......................

Our family has made it a tradition to stay at this hotel on seasonal trips to visit the grandparents. It is a throwback to a different era with modern updates and amenities (wi-fi, nice clean rooms, basic breakfast). The best part for our children though is the pond complete with Sammy the Swan. No trip is complete without a visit to see Sammy.
