Simple and cheap hotel stay for one night while visiting the Christmas markets in Bielefeld. Staff at reception were very helpful and friendly, the room was clean and had everything I needed. Location is a short walk from the train station and very close to shops and restaurants. Due to its central location, it is a little noisy if overlooking the street, but earplugs help with that.

The location is great, close to everywhere including the central train station. Lots of dining and shopping around. Friendly staff. Small but clean and convenient rooms.

Rooms and commonly used areas are all neat and very clean the rooms are convenient the location is excellent just few minutes walk from station and right at the middle of the city center. The staff is warm, nice, helpful and welcoming.
One drawback is that there is no air conditioning it was early summer when we were there but in late July and August the rooms might be a little hot. There is no night staff so if you arrive there late at night you need to notify the hotel beforehand not to be stranded at the door. Or if something urgent happens late at night you need to know that there is no night staff at the reception.

We stayed at Comfort Garni whilst visiting Bielefeld for a weekend, We found the hotel to have a great central location to Bielefeld, 3 minutes walk away from the train station. It was very quiet, no noise whatsoever, comfortable and tidy. No drinks facilities in the room, but we stocked up in Aldi down the road, and ate out, so no problem for us. Beds comfortable, if a little soft, bathroom clean and tidy, shower worked a treat. English speaking too, if needed. Would stay there again if ever in that neck of the woods!

Central location, 5 minute walk to the station. Room was spacious and very clean. Decor slightly dated but comfortable enough. Would use again, didn’t try the breakfast so can’t comment.

Very convenient for the station but also a short walk to the old town. If you have the window open it can be noisy but shut it and it is very quiet.Breakfast is a good selection.

We were initially surprised to find this hotel is IN the actual outdoor mall and had our reservations at first but the location turned out to be perfect. Walking distance to the main train station, and tons of food and shopping area within a very short walk. Terrific ice cream place right outside the front door! The view from our window was bad but we never care about that stuff anyway. I would stay there again and maybe next time enjoy the breakfast too since we did not try that this visit.

Central railway station nearby, it will take 3-5 minutes walk to reach your room when after the train, also big shopping center next to the hotel and plenty of restaurents with proper meals for any pocket in the shopping center and on the Bahnhofstrasse connecting the hotel and railway station. The Hotel is quiet, the braekfast was reach enough, good coffee and nice service. The staff are friendly. However the single rooms are small with basic equipments. There is no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms which is something I personally miss, on the whole it is a good option for one-two nights if you are looking for budget accommodation.

Hotel very well positioned, near the train station and in the town. Service was very good, room clean etc. However room was dated, wood chip wall paper, noisy bathroom fan, etc. Efforts have been made to update it with a new bed. The rooms really need an update.

We had many more worse hotels in this area. In times of the kitchen faire it is not easy to find a hotel for a reasonable price. This one was the cheapest we found at it was better than many others we have seen.

Nice room, nice staff, good breakfast. The only downside was the very tight parking garage which we also struggled to find, but it was a reasonable price to park.

The rooms were quite small but very clean. The location is excellent. Very close to downtown and main train station (Hauptbahnhof). Although it is facing the main street, the room was not noisy (I was staying on the 4th, last, floor so that might be a part of the reason). The only thing that I did not like was the lack of sport channels on TV so I could not watch some of the great BundesLiga games of that matchday. In summary, great deal in terms of price and what is being offered.

Of course one needs to consider that its a basic hotel (small room / small shower etc.) but it served the purpose. Reception was friendly and efficient. Didnt have breakfast so cant comment on that but I got a bottle of water at checkout which I thought was rather nice (saved me from buying one first thing in the morning for the day out and about).

Very central hotel in the middle of the shopping area. Small bedroom, very simple but clean, good breakfast. The people working at the reception were very nice (while checking in / out).

Not easy to find, had to park the car in car park then walk towards the main shopping street to find the hotel. (Near Tchibo coffee shop)

A comfortable, clean and well run hotel in the centre of Bielefeld with several good restaurants within 2-3 minutes walk. Pleasant breakfast room with a good choice of cereals, meats cheeses, bread, fruit and yoghurt - and attentive service for tea and coffee. Underground parking is fine for compact cars but the 24 hour car park on the north side of Zimmerstrasse (less than 100 metres away) is better suited for larger vehicles. Would definitely stay again.
