Nice place clean comfortable. Air conditioner ran allot and would prefer wall thermostat. Parking good. Can walk to downtown but we drove five to six blocks instead.

The location was awesome. The room was clean and big enough to sleep eight. Breakfast was hot and fresh. Will definitely stay here again!

Hotel was very close to Mount Rushmore. We visited twice since our parking pass was good for a year. Free breakfast with eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy among other things like yogurt, cereal, and fruit. Check in was easy, room was clean, staff was very friendly. We had a stink bug and wasp that found their way into our room, but we disposed of them. I suspect this is because the room opens to outdoors. Our stay was very nice.

The toilet was 6" from the wall and had a grab bar taking some of that space. The mattress was worn out. We slept with our feet above our heads.

Location was good although it was weird how our gps gave a complicated direction to make a simple left turn but instead lead us to go through iron mountain switchbacks. And it was at night so it was a bit agonizing drive in the dark. Other than that, staff and service was good. Breakfast was decent. Ample parking.

We had a family suite that was in the building interior. Although very spacious it relies on the buildings heating and cooling rather than a stand alone ac/heat unit. Unfortunately, the first room we had was experiencing a power issue and the room we were moved to was quite cold and heat wasn’t an option for the time of year we were there. After turning off the AC it took all night to warm up.
All the staff we encountered were very friendly!

Don’t let the outside fool you - the inside is great! We weren’t sure what we were getting into when we arrived and saw a dated looking building. We had booked a standard room but had the option to upgrade to a suite. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and friendly, she showed us the standard room and the suite. The standard room looked clean and comfortable, though a bit small. The suite didn’t cost much extra so we went with it, and it was definitely luxury like the sign says! The hotel is within walking distance of the main attractions in Keystone too. So glad we gave this hotel a chance!

Great place to stay. We visited in Mid September and it was very quiet ,but full. Mostly the guests were our ae or older. If you are a light sleeper,you might bring earplugs if you are not use to the sound of a window airconditioner.Breakfast had several option. It was the same day,but I had 5 different options, ex. Cereal, yogurt, eggs and sausage also biscuits and gravy, fruit. Staff was great.

This hotel was clean. The pool and hot tub were clean. The beds were comfortable. Even the pull out couch was comfortable.
The tv was easily workable. The lights all worked in the room. The temperature control was right in the room. Check in and check out were easy. Breakfast was good.
The hotel has plenty free parking, elevators, vending machines and extra bathrooms in the hallways. Overall a great stay!

It is a motel with standard rooms. The breakfast was good. The front office was friendly. It was very convenient to Mt. Rushmore (2 miles) and lots of restaurants.

A lovely night, had everything we could possibly need, including a pool and hot tub. Walking distance to restaurants, east access to Mt. Rushmore. Fantastic!

I think it depends on the room you get at this place. Our room was clean but it had an odor of smoke. Not like someone had recently smoked in the room but imbedded smoke in the carpet etc. I suspect the rooms inside the main hotel are better. The pool area was excellent, the breakfast was average and the location was great. All in all it would have been very good minus the smell which I am sensitive to.

Our family really enjoyed our stay here. It was close to Mt. Rushmore and other tourist attractions. Our suite was spacious and super clean. We had been traveling for over a week and this was hands down the best hotel experience of our trip.

Family trip with grandkids. The only bad thing was a guy took in beer to the pool and i made the kids get out.

The suite was wonderful. We were there three days so the extra room was great. We could park right by the back entrance to get to our suite. We were within walking distance of the tram, Mexican rest, and other shops and restaurants

Great location for Rushmore and Crazy Horse. Would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting that area. Amazing breakfast too!

Room itself was clean, very spacious and quite beautiful. Pool looked nice, we didn’t use it though. The bed was comfortable, however I kept smelling urine. We realized the next morning that the bed has a mattress protector which didn’t seem to come off the bed. It had three stains which I’m guessing is where the smell was coming from. A shame really, In an otherwise nice place.

Good clean property and friendly front desk. Room was fine. Sink is outside of bathroom…it’s fine.
Worst thing was that the AC didn’t work. It blew air but not cold air. It was late when we arrived and my two children were asleep and I didn’t want to disrupt them with an employee coming to look at the AC.
I checked the seatings multiple times. Was a hot day as it often is there…and it was so hot. Blew semi-cold air but wasn’t cold enough and certainly didn’t condition the air. Had trouble sleeping. I thought about opening the little refrigerator to help cool the room haha
Room 220…make sure the AC works if you get this room.
