Awesome place to spend our first rest day on the Camino. The pool and sauna are nice. Good breakfast and a comfortable room. Definitely the perfect stay after our longest day of walking on the Camino.

Staff was very friendly. Spoke English to us.

This is a really cute hotel I stayed at on the Camino de Santiago. Lots of other pilgrims there. Sat by the pool and the bartender brought me an nice cold beer. Was very quiet and relaxing. There's also a sauna, which I did not use. Breakfast was good.

Both historical and modern.

Every time I visit the north of portugal my family and I always stay at Hotel Meira it’s been for 33 years our preference, the staff is very 5 ⭐️

Front desk people were great, facilities were very good.

Excellent staff and very friendly! Very pet friendly! The room had dog treats and food/ water bowls when we arrived.

We had a king bed and large room! The location was good and the breakfast plentiful.

I wish to say that for health reasons, I did NOT travel on this day for a stay at the hotel.Unfortunaly, I forgot to cancel the booking.As a result, I have been charged and obviously accept all a responsability for that.I would like to ask if there is any chance of getting any voucher for the money paid to use next year? Love the location of the hotel. Very family friendly. Didn't like the fact the hot breakfast was finished at 10.

In centre of town 2 minutes from beach. Terrific breakfast - lovely helpful staff - charming & newly renovated. Spotless & convenient.

Small rooms. Small pool. Bathroom small & bit out of date. Don't eat in the restaurant. Low quality, high price and the reastaurant is Not a Nice place to dit & eat. There are 10+ restaurants within 500m that offer better Food. WiFi in rooms is poor. Bed's are good. Breakfast also good (but Not excellent). Rooms are clean. Location of the hotel is fine. Vila Praia de Ãncora is a Nice place to stay for a week or less. Meira is Not a bad hotel. Not at All. It's a Nice place to stay. But we have no idea why This is a 4* hotel. Prices are 4*+ (certainly for This Region of Portugal). It's not a 4* quality you get as a guest.

Beautiful hotel. On the Camino route. Spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Great balcony. Excellent pilgrim menu in the dining room. Staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

This is the biggest and probably the best Hotel in town , great food in the restaurant , great selection in the buffet breakfast ( with few variation during my 1 week stay) , staff is really good and friendly, some room are brand new very modern , some are older ( but do have a balcony the old one which was nice) .It is also few steps from the plaza and the beach ( not in the beach ) .Overall I like it and I would stay again .

very good location in a most pleasant area; excellent breakfast; clean, room ok, staff pleasant and efficient; beware of the parking place, exit is quite a sport if your car has a US or mercedes type "manual break" ; the slope is roughly 20% upwards and you have to escape from that...an excellent place for a very nice stay; excellent restaurant, far from the usual cod under its unnumerous variants.

We enjoyed 5 days at hotel Meira. The location is great and Ancora a wonderful beach. But our room was quite small and the lobby and common areas quite dark. A bit of light paint and some more lights would make the place look a lot better. BTW, their Saturday buffet was quite good.

Nice Hotel, very kind staff, large breakfast with good quality products. Great value for moneyI only slept there one night on the way to Galicia, so I can't really recommend much in terms of tourist attractions, but I took a note to come back here for a more relaxed visit
