We stayed at the hotel for one night, we arrived one hour to early for check-in, but this was no problem🙂 The staff were super friendly and helpful. The bed was a bit to hard according to my wife. Nice walking distance to the city center. All in all a very pleasant stay

The staff are kind and supportive, but the back rooms are cramped and have a sad ambiance, although they are clean. Rooms are not like what you see in the pictures.

Stayed in a Junior Suite which was a great size especially as we had our dog with us. Very comfortable.

Super staff. Clean and full kitchen. Only the bed wasn’t confortable as expected.

Rooms were basic but clean and with enough kitchen facilities to do simple self-catering. Just 10 minutes walk from the station and about 15 into the city. I had feared the worst after reading reviews about how noisy it was. Clearly this must have been due to the other guests staying at the time, as it was almost unnaturally quiet during my stay. I was also lucky to get a room overlooking a side street.

It’s a nice hotel with a good size of room. Close to the central with a friendly staff.

Location is OK. Close to the train station. But additional fees are charged to clean the room. Also, towel exchange costs extra.

The check-in and the staff was excellent, l also had a question a few days before my arrival and they answered fairly quickly. The rooms are exactly as the pictures and rather spacious, l will definitely stay again in this hotel. :-)

First, I would like to say that the following review does not concern and evaluate the staff. During my stay, all staff members were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. This review is solely directed at the rooms and therefore also the decision-makers of the hotel. I am aware that this hotel is one of the more affordable options in Strasbourg and therefore I do not expect the 'Ritz' or an 'Adlon'. However, one can still expect a certain minimum standard if one does not want to sleep in a hostel. The location is good. It's a 20-minute walk from the old town and the main train station. Located on a rather quiet street, so the surroundings do not affect the loudness of the room (more on that later). The main room (sleeping area & kitchenette) is spacious for two people and clean. The furniture is functional but not pretty. The bed was clean and equipped with a liquid-proof pad. I have no complaints here. The kitchenette is equipped with dishes and cutlery for 2 people. Microwave, stove, refrigerator, and kettle are available. Unfortunately, the refrigerator compressor in my case is quite loud, so noise-sensitive people should bring earplugs. Now to the bathroom. This aspect also explains my poor rating. The equipment of the bathroom, the cleanliness, and the condition of the facilities do not, in my opinion, meet Central European standards. Open pipes and a huge boiler give me the impression of a prison cell and not a hotel in a European metropolis. The tiles in the shower

The only negative thing during my stay was no cleaning service in the Room i stay 6 nights and the internet didnt work. Besides that everything perfect

The hotel is in a convenient location, about 15-20 minute walk from the Cathedral. Staff were helpful. However the rooms are dated and in poor condition. There was mould round the shower base and the tiles needed cleaning. The currains had holes in and were dirty, and there was only one pillow provided.

It is very near the train station. We arrived early but the staff let us store our luggages so that we can go around. The island, where most of the attractions are is walkable.

Good property. Very high value. Not very expensive and is a decent room. Not too many frills. Staff was very welcoming and gave us a cup for the christmas market that saved us a few euros.

Staff friendly and helpful. Room ok. Good location. However the elevator broke down several times so had to climb up and down 5 flights of stairs with luggage.

The staff is friendly and the rooms are well equiped, but bad conditions and cleaning. Paint is peeling off the tiles in the shower area, the towel racks is grey with dust, the wc keeps pulling in water (noisy), the silverwear isn’t cleaned properly.

Great place to stay. Less than 10 mins from the main train station and about 7 mins to a large mall. Strasbourg is simply beautiful, a fairy tale place to be in!

The room is very big and clean, but the wifi is horrible. I could not even load a page without waiting for minutes.

Avoid at all costs. Starting with check-in we’re the receptionist could barely be bothered to utter a word - his phone must have been more interesting. Only interested in us paying the local tax. Didn’t explain which floor we were on or anything. The room was poor (apart from the air con, which was good). An open electrical connection box in the room (luckily no children in our party, otherwise could have been very dangerous). Water boiler directly above the toilet. As long as you didn’t stand up when you left the loo, you were ok. 1 working light - 2 other lights, though both missing bulbs. 1 working plug socket. No coat hangers at all. Why have a wardrobe if you can’t hang clothes up ? Request for fresh towels (via email, message and asking Expedia) was ignored. Had to use the same towels through the stay. Felt unsafe as followed in a couple of times very closely and it appeared people were trying to gain access to see which room you were in. Hotel Quite obviously not interested. Complained to Expedia who were just as bad and kept us on hold an hour saying they were trying to get an answer from the hotel about a refund (which was refused). We didn’t want a refund, just fresh towels, light bulbs and coat hangers. Seriously avoid like the plague. The ‘welcome’ should have been a warning sign about this ‘hotel’.

Hotel receptionist was awesome. Very helpful and friendly.

This was a super disappointing experience. The internet does not work, it's ok to check emails but it's not going to work for anything else. I was surprised that the internet was not working so I went to the reception and asked if something was happening, then the lady working at the reception told me it's usually slow, and she gave me the address of an internet cafe if I needed access to internet. The day after I asked the manager if I could leave because I needed internet to work, then she suggested moving to a room closer to the reception area, which I did, but the internet signal was still quite poor, so what I had to do was to get my own separate internet plan to use during my stay there. Also, the new room I got had a super disgusting smell of garbage, it came at times during the day, but sometimes it was so bad that I couldn't even sleep. The cherry on top of the pie happened on the last day I was there, the elevator was broken so I had to take my suitcases by the stairs. Management is aware of all these issues because they were not even surprised when I told them, it's unbelievable no one does anything to solve them.

The bathroom has a terrible stench, it was really smelly. We definitely paid too much for this room. The personnel though was helpful and very accommodating, fortunately
