Bathroom didn’t smell good, I think there was mold, parking is questionable, heard strange toilet flushing sound all night long and don’t even get me started on the noisy refrigerator, the scratchy towels and non lathering soap, all over not my idea of something I will put myself through again! Read the bad reviews they’re all true!

The Staff is awesome, the rooms are clean. However the property it self is in poor condition. It is in need of serious repairs and updates

they gave us a larger with kitchen 2 bd rooms and more expensive room than we paid for on the lower level when we asked for a room on lower instead of 2nd level,Nice restaurent across the street

This place is a run down flea bag dump.

The room is run down, beds are terribly uncomfortable, the room needed cleaning. It had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke. I won’t ever stay here again. And would not recommend any family or friends. 😑

It was clean and the bed was nice, shower ok. but overall the property needs some love and upgrading, peeling paint on walls in bathroom, and carpet outside rooms very old & not exactly nice looking. Housekeeping was great though. Thanks

Check in and room, good. But being charged for another night when right before we checked out at was not proper and just tied up funds in my cc when it was totally unnecessary!

The water leaked from the unit above and the sheets were dirty.

The room is okay. A little smell, little old, but clean enough. The fishing dock is a plus. We got our pb bass 6lb and some crappie there during the night.

I like it was walking distance to the lake, restaurants, parks, and main street.

Hotel was very dirty with pill bottle under the bed. The TV was unplugged with no power and we had to connect the cable and wires. Even with doing that, the TV still did not work. The office smelled…..and there were some shady looking characters hanging around. Will never book a spot here again.

This place was discussting. The room had finger nail clippings and used bandage on the floor. Then the toilet would not flush at any time. Manager would not come and check it. Just left me a plunger and left. Great place for hookers , and field and construction workers. Thank god we brought our LYSOL!!!!!!

Our stay was very nice. The staff were nice and showed us where we could fish at night. We walked about a block and there were options for dinner, which was convenient. The only thing that was difficult was the parking. It was very tight and we had park in an awkwardly small spot that made my car feel insecure and fat. It took a couple days of driving around the coast to get her confidence back up. If we stay here again were bringing our civic.

Poorly maintained room, blinking light, leaking faucet, chipped tile, peeling paint, noisy air conditioner, torn bedding, missing toilet paper holder, broken hair dryer, sink faucet loose, no plug for sink, TV mounting is crooked, remote doesn't work.

The customer service we received from the front desk was lovely. It appears to be a family owned business and they do their best to make everyone feel welcome. This is an economy motel, so you get what you pay for. The price was right, but overall, the accommodations were dirty. The beds and bathroom were clean, which is all that matters. However, the walls and kitchenette looked like they hadn't seen a good wipedown in years. I actually used the first hour scrubbing the areas around the light switches and doorknobs Ick. The location is nice -- right on the lake and the family running the business is wonderful. I think they may need to consider upgrading house keeping once they are established financially. Not a bad review on their house keepers -- the one I met was equally awesome. I just get the feeling they don't have enough time or staff to get more than the bare minimum clean. Our stay would have been 5 stars without the icky walls and light fixtures.

Very, very dirty

We checked in to the hotel and the best thing I can say about this place was the staff was very friendly. I booked 2 rooms, and one room was ok for cleanliness and the other was not. There was used earplugs and pistachio shells in the dresser drawers as well as left over food in the refrigerator. The shower had 2 temperatures, SCALDING hot or lukewarm. The beds in one room were fairly decent and comfortable, the others were creaky and worn out. I had one of the newly "remodeled" rooms, and whoever put in the sink countertop obviously cannot read a level and does not know what plumb means, but it was whatever since I just needed a place to lay my head. Location was ok, close to town and some good restaurants in the area, but if I had to stay there again... probably not.

Pictures online didn't represent property accurately. Clean towels were not available at check in. Staff came to room three times at check out, one of which opened door. Floors and rooms in the two rooms I viewed were dirty...needs to be mopped!

The pictures shown are of the place next door. It was not clean and we ended up not staying. We were in our room for less than 5 minutes and couldn’t do it.

Its a good place

Room was clean but the shower temperature could not be adjusted - either cold or scalding hot. No safety bars in or around the shower. Outside was filthy: trash everywhere, trash cans overflowing, pool dirty, pool area and surrounding area covered in bird poop. 3 dead baby birds on the ground near the pool the entire 3 days. Overall, pretty shabby...

Meh.......it is a blue collar, no frills. The furniture, a desk and chair, were tired and old. No clock in the room. Overall it was a ........place to be for the night

We liked that the lake was close by but it did not look at all like the photo. Water pressure was great and room was big.

I don’t usually do reviews but this place is terrible. Kind of like a dirty old Motel 6. Very basic. In poor repair. Bird poop all over the pool area and lounge chairs. Poorly made beds. Spartan room. Looks like furniture was removed and not replaced. One bed was so close to the heater you couldn’t walk between them. Exposed electrical wires. Pics attached

Hotel is a great view safe clean staff are very helpful and nice. Room was clean and comfy

Torn box spring cover...burn holes in blanket...broken bathroom door...toilet roll holder broken...threshold to room broken...flickering lights....cold ugly florescent lights

We felt tricked. We were not in one of the cabins depicted in the picture. We were in an upstairs room - even though we had pets. People were loud most of the night and early in the morning.

I liked nothing about it

The beds were awfully uncomfortable. Shower head was broken. Very noisy outside. Not such a special place, will not stay there again. Unclean!!!
