I was somewhat disappointed with the hotel and its service. The room wasn’t as clean as expected, AC cabinet was placed next to one of the beds and was working loud, especially during night time and there were tea sachets provided at the room, but there was no teapot to make use of them. The breakfast was included—a nice bonus—it was quite limited. Additionally, my name wasn’t on the breakfast list, so I had to check in with reception every morning, which was inconvenient.

It was okay. The beds was really small. Really wanted a king bed. But, we were only able to get 2 full. As an unconventional couple the space did not work well. Overall nice hotel and friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere.

This hotel was nice comfy and clean. Hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. There were a couple of cons though but nothing major. One was when i went to take a shower there was no soap and the body wash was empty. I did go to front desk after and they gave me a bottle. The other thing was the disorganization of the breakfast. We paid the breakfast included rate but they went to a full pay mode. When i asked the front deak about it they had to find it by a randomn code. Afterwards we were still not on the list but we were able to get breakfast anyways. 1st day breakfast was sparse but still decent. Today though brekafast was much better and much better organized. Overall we had a good stay and we will come.back. We just wont pay for breakfast at 29.99. For basically a continental breakfast it is not worth the price.

We had a nice stay. The only thing that I noticed was there was no ventilation fans in the bathroom and the water pooled in the shower but other than that we were satisfied.

Room was a little dirty with bugs I was given another room which was better,was given a deposit that I wasn’t aware of which almost cost me my trip.

Trip was ok. The hotel was clean and check in was fine. House keeping kept coming by at random times which eventually got annoying having to turn them away so much. Maintenance also came by several times to check on the A/C even though we never had an issue with it. The most annoying part of the vacation was having to turn people away so much. Other than that everything was fine.

I was charged for parking and I did not have a vehicle. I was there for 8 hours. The gentleman that checked me in was foul mouthed and unavailable 1 hour later when I needed assistance.

There was no hot water (which noone told us about in advance as apparently it was a city issue. To top it off, the AC did not work. We let the front desk too but noone came. Really not at the Courtyard brand level. Got no reimbursement or coupon.

Terrible parking situation. Google maps goes to “exit only”, and the entrance is hidden in some unmarked back alley. Then you have to go back to your car after checking in to put something on the dash. This stuff alone makes it deserve at most 7 out of 10.

Some of the front desk staff can use lots of customer service training. Otherwise, other staff was courteous especially the valets. The hotel is ideally located near boardwalk and beach but not smack in the heart of it and there are lovely boutique restaurants nearby. Definitely take a tour with Atlantic City cruises which is also a ~30 min walk or 5 min drive away. We were also able to easily order food and groceries to our room through Uber with reasonable prices and time frames.

Room smelled of cigarette (we are non-smokers so we are sensitive to the smell).
Bathtub had mold in junctions. Burnt light bulb in bathroom. No extras at all (e.g. no Lotion, shower cap, bottled water, etc.)
The hotel is about 2 blocks from the boardwalk (and nothing else to do around it). Access to boardwalk was dingy.

Hotel and Staff were quick and helpful, had no issues besides the smell of the room. It smelled like cigarettes everytime we came back into the room but everything else was fine and clean so we can’t really complain. Very close to the boardwalk which was a plus for us and if you don’t want to do their valet there’s a lot of parking lots next to it.

Upon arriving at our room, we encountered a major issue: the toilet tank broke, and my husband was drenched with toilet water. It was an unpleasant and distressing experience. The manager on duty explained that the hotel was fully booked and could not provide us with an alternative room. Although the tank was eventually repaired, we did not receive any compensation, and no one followed up with us. This level of service falls short of what we expect from a Marriott hotel. Our anniversary weekend was unfortunately spoiled, and we will not be returning.

My stay at the hotel was nice the location was great it was close to the beach and the boardwalk comfortable for my mother but unfortunately the room that I had may not have been used for a while the lamp post was Dusty someone left a juice bottle on the floor underneath the table the windows was Dusty the guest table was Dusty but the hotel was nice I do appreciate that they provide us with a microwave and refrigerator what I didn't appreciate was that where the refrigerator was located behind the refrigerator area it was patchy like it needed to be repainted so in the future a little coat of paint would do a lot even if the room is not being used Environmental should refresh in the room no hotel room should be Dusty thank you for your time

This place is a rip off. Staff is soooo unfriendly. They advertise there is food dining… Limited hours plus coffee is 8.00 a cup not to mention the other pricing of the food. They charge you to valet park 28.00 a night. Just be prepared to spend more staying there than in one of the casinos. Very disappointing. :(

After coming we give a different card for payment they add it on another room and after 2days days the can figure it out.Ot was a hassle and the attitude was not good we have paid the full fees after arriving to the hotel

It is safe.
There are some changes to hotel specifically the breakfast but other than that…we have a great stay.

I came in late. Around 11, maybe almost 12AM. The showboat was never able to check us in or accommodate in any sort. They didnt have any linen. I came in and ask if there was any availability and explained what my children and i were dealing with because of the showboat.. the front desk staff was very pleaseant and more than willing to check me and my family in. She gave me a small discount on valet parking . I managed to actually save over 100 dollars by chosing this location over the showboat and i am very pleased with my stay. I booked the double bed room, the beds were small, but! Whos complaining after almost having to sleep in the car because the showboat doesnt know how to treat their guest.

I thought the hotel was good overall. I spent a weekend here to attend an event near the area and my stay was pleasant. Check in was smooth and quick. Room was clean for me and my guest. My only complaint, which is minor, is that the bathroom should have a little upgrade. The tub had like scratches on the surface. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay.

The room itself was clean. The gym was small,hot,stuffy and had a wierd smell. The staff making breakfast was rude amd the breakfast was horrible. Undercooked french toast wasn't edible. The surrounding area was sketchy with lots of druggies. Wouldnt recommend leaving the hotel unless you are driving or going directly to the broadwalk but never after dark.
