Friendly lady at the reception. Problems with PIN code based access that they change during your stay, and don’t inform about the new code so you can not get in during unmanned hours of the reception (which is all the time almost). Could not call number provided because of non-mobile roaming blocking the only option to get help.
If implementing a PIN based access system, it must work so the code can not be changed until all current guests have been CONFIRMED to have been informed.
They should be paying me money back for this clumsy experience.

When we arrived the person in the reception did not acknowledge our presence at all (she clearly saw us some we were less than a meter away). After multiple attempts she finally pointed at some envelopes with names on the counter. Found our envelope (with key and room number), we asked for directions to the room as well as for info about breakfast. No response, she simply looked at us, stood up and left… We speak all Scandinavian languages. Found our room, black mold in the bathroom, broken tiles, only paper cups, hard to find electrical sockets for charging devices, some with extension cords permanently attached… Appreciate that it is an old building but this does not exclude proper cleaning, maintenance and service. Breakfast was ok.

The hotel runs the extremely loud party just under our room till 2 am. It was impossible to sleep. There was no receptionist at night, and nobody answered provided emergency phone. No apology or compensation from the administration

Only draw back was the number of stairs we had to climb to get to our room, otherwise it was great and close to some great shopping areas

We were a family of four and stayed for three nights. Since the location is out of town and in the country side, we didn't have much expectations to the standard compared to the big city. The only thing that the room should have is curtains. We had to change rooms because of the light outside went straight through the window at night and lit up the whole room. We got an upgrade to a much better room and was very happy about that, but the windows didn't have any curtains there either. Overall, it was a nice place. Quiet and central to everything.

Work trip to Naestved. Hotel Vinhuset was located conveniently close to the hospital I was working at. Room was big. Bathroom floor in the room I stayed in was heated to the point it was too hot to walk on.

The hotel staff were very friendly. It wasn't always easy to find a member of staff though. The room was very spacious and beds comfortable. The weather was very hot so the room was stuffy as it had no air-con. It is situated very centrally. Breakfast was good, again no staff to show us what to do, so we just sorted ourselves out.

Tried to charge me extra for using an international ViSA card for payment. I refused. Rather noisey and run down, could do with an upgrade.

Very friendly and helpful staff, nice large room with view of church. One of only 2 hotels in town and dog friendly. Only disappointment was the restaurant, which was really awful - well below the standard of surrounding restaurants - fixed menu with no specials and no imagination - what a shame!
