This was our second time staying at the Crystal inn for a week each. The room is always clean. We love the hard wood floor in the room and the balcony. The service is always great!

We’ve been staying here due to a family member being in a local hospital and the crystal inn is 5 minutes away. Rooms are clean, AC works,great water pressure for showers.

The property was very run down. The room was clean but there were small bugs all over the bathroom. Also the sofa was old and looked worn and dirty.

Madeline was very kind, polite and helpful. So was Barbara, she assisted us with setting up our wifi password when we were having difficulties. Much improvement here since our previous visit in 2022.

Bring a bathing suit the pool is beautiful

This is a really dated building but the rooms were big, the staff was friendly, and parking was plentiful and not paid for. All in all a good experience but renos are needed.

They doing a great job

Towels were so bad. They weren't even white, seemed grey. The wash cloth looked like it had blood stains on it. It was so bad, I went out and bought new towels. Bed sheet was stained too.

We love the pool there, and even though they do keep it open a little past 6/7pm if guests are inside, it still seems early:( They have nicely maintained landscaping around the pool area which is also nice. But our room had a cigar smell, was very much in need of any decor or just a paint job, and felt like the furniture was very much in need of an update. Other than the smell, it seemed clean, the staff was very nice, and it seemed they did the best they had with what they had to offer their guests. The hotel is reasonably priced, convenient and near plenty of shopping, restaurants and the shore. Best option for the price.

1st Pros -place has all brand new mattresses, very clean, amazing clean pool, close to everything Cons-only actual complaint that I have is the fact they allow a tall black man who’s been a perm tenant for a long time, to do what he wants and this past week he threatened my daughter and they did nothing about it. I didn’t feel safe after so we didn’t extend our stay anymore. A lot happened with this guy leading up to it, he tells customers he’s the hotel manager and tells them what to do. He literally wrote my daughter a threatening note and they did NOTHING. I wish I could upload pics or I would. I’ll finish this review in detail on google.

Quick and easy check in, comfortable bed, very cold a/c as well, which I think is a good thing

Staff was kind upon check-in. The room itself was covered in stains, on the walls, sheets, floors, in the shower, on the ceiling. Despite this, was still able to get a good night's sleep. Continental breakfast was very underwhelming,

Customer service was very good

Pillows are not comfortable; towels are of very poor quality, torn at the edges and look like rags

There was a lot of parking Space.

All though the room was clean, it needed some painting and updating. The room smells of smoke and we are non smokers. There was a smoke in the hall and the fire alarm was going off because someone was smoking pot. The lighting in the hallway was very dark and made you feel like it was a sketchy place. We checked in, got dressed for the party we had to go to and checked out. We didn’t feel comfortable sleeping there. Also when we were walking down the hall to our room, there were people arguing two rooms away from our room. We paid three hundred dollars and didn’t stay there. There are much nicer facilities for that price and even cheaper. I would not recommend.

A very peaceful place. Loved it

They offee breakfast andbthere isnt really just coffee and bread. At night a lot of noise and a lot of smell of marihuana and cigarettes. The person at the counter, very friendly, that was only the positive. On the night of Saturday , August 24, the police went to knock on a room. I tried to call reception and the phone didnt work.

The room was not clean there was cockroaches and they masked the room with too much spraying,will not refer anybody to this place The outside carpet is soo old ,there cockroaches in the room ,the room over sprayed with chemicals

I stay out all the time its my favorite no fuss place with an amazing pool near the Boardwalk 10 bucks uber ride maids work hard its great

The staff manning the front desk were very nice and bilingual. The No Smoking zone was only in the rooms, the hall reeked of cigarette smoke. The police came knocking on the door across the hall. The motel was quite old (looked like it had originally been a Howard Johnson) and did not seem to have been updated in many years. No directions on how to operate the T.V. or AC. Definitely overpriced.

Don't like : old, wearing out carpets in hallway, old refrigerator, some furniture broken. Like. Clean room, shower, caring stuff.

Very close to the beach but this place needs a big time update starting with the towels,pillows, etc etc are. The cleaning staff was great though. Seems like they trie to do their best with what they are given

Property was easy to find and had an abundance of well lit parking. A new Aldi and gas station/convenience mart are under construction directly across the street. The front desk attendant was very courteous and helpful. There was a slight odor of cigarette smoke present, but our room was freshly painted and they were painting the corridor where the room was located. That helps tamp down the smoke odor considerably. It was obvious the owners are taking actions to spruce the place up. Our room was very clean and had a new mattress that was very much appreciated by my bad back. The TV also looked pretty new.

The facility was clean but old and hallways a little broken down. They seem to be updating it all. No vending machines

Very comfortable overnight stay.

What i didn't like is that the room smells of smoke. And I was running around so at first I didn't say anything about the refrigerator not cooling, i figured i had to set it lower. So the last night i put food into it and turned it to the colder setting. In the morning warm in there. Also toilet was leaking onto the floor the entire time. It wasn't that bad but i told the maid. So when i checked out I asked for some compensation for the broken refrigerator ruined my food. They directed me to Expedia. Plus they lied and said the refrigerator was working fine and that it was only 2 weeks old. LOL ok I HAVE 8 REFRIGERATORS in my homes and they all cool food. I know how to set a refrigerator. That's mainly why i'm writing this review. It's a very cheap place, but you get the riff raff people to go along with it. So you had to basically say i'm lying. UM NO

Nothing fancy. Adequate if you're looking for basic a place to stay in the area.

I wish I could say that I got to experience the entire night but I had to leave. I couldn’t even stay there with the curtains having blood stains on them. We were transferred to another room and it was the same issue. I was told that all furniture is old and curtains haven’t been cleaned but the mattress is “new”. Like what ? I was terrified to even think about making it through a whole night there. The location is sketchy and also the pool was closed super early. For the amount of money that I was charged ! It was absolutely just not viable to be there at all. Oh and to be exact I paid $304. That kind of money and it being dirtier than a motel. Is absolutely wild
