Dirty hotel in a horrible neighbourhood. There was no electricity so the lift didn’t work! Reception is on the 4th floor. No way was I going to risk my life lugging heavy suitcases up 4 floors in the dark. We cancelled booking and will get a refund via my card issuer. Do not stay here ever,

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The elevator was a real bonus!

This hotel deserves the five stars . We and my friends enjoyed the stay , and everything else regarding the staff especially and the breakfast, location, and accommodation. Reception staff are the best . Thank you to everyone for making our stay more enjoyable and exciting.

Excellent costumer service, Reception staff were very warm , welcoming, helpful, and very comunicative. Cleanness was excellent too . The ladies , always with the smile in their face . The breakfast section felt very homey , simple but fitful. Stefania has an excellent costumer service skills. This hotel definitely deserves five stars for all the beautiful staff . Definitely will come back again.

We had room at 3rth floor and my opinion is based on that room. Locatiopn is very good but that's all. One night hotel, not two. I can't imagine to stay in summer because the air condition blow air directly to the bed. Wc didn't flash, and of the story!

Staff very helpful and professional. The structure lacks of regular maintenance, high level of humidity and some stains here and there. Lovely small rooftop usable more in Spring and Summer though. Possibility of parking the car providing you book the slot in advance. Very central.

Very central location. Looks like recently renovated. Room was very clean and quiet. The lady at dining room was very kind. We liked breakfast very much. Terrace was nice, too.

The rooms are delightful and the outside patio is a quiet restful place for a few minute get away if quiet. Staff was very considerate and helpful.

Good location, breakfast and clean rooms. Getting in and out of hotel after hours is a pain. You have to ring the lobby and if no one is around, then it can take a while to get in.

The hotel was excellent. At first blush, it appeared underwhelming, but we soon found out that it’s great. It’s located close to center if Catania, and there are several places to eat within walking distance.

Very central. Nice and clean inside (do not judge the first glance outside!) Great staff (e.g. Massimo on reception was so professional, friendly, helpful, breakfast service on saturday, July 23rd. She was so friendly, fast, professional, baked great fresh stuff). Beautiful breakfast on top balcony. Rooms were ok. One of the them next to reception a little loud sometimes as -e.g. - next door neighbours got home at two a.m. in the morning and took shower till 3 a.m.. Hotel is environmental friendly. Separates garbage, user renewable energy, not much plastic. Hotel is most recommandable. We will be back!

The staff were very friendly and professional. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The location was perfect for what we wanted to see.

Loved it

Once we returned our car, the Manganelli Palace was within an easy walking distance to everything we wanted to see. It also has a number of very good reasonably priced restaurants and bars within a block of the hotel. There is a good view of Mt. Etna from the terrace where you can eat the good breakfast they provide.

Elegant hotel in a historical building, in the city centre. Very nice terrace for breakfast and relax. Service and personnel top grade!

From the oyutside this place looked a bot shady. Inside all was excellent. The staff was amazing, the selection of beer in the bar was good. Rooms are good. Would use this place again. The place is located in the shopping area. Nice london style bar just outside the hotel.

great hotel in a fab location. It can be noisy at night but fine if you close the windows and put on the aircon. Staff are extremely helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is good.

Good location, nice staff, nice hotel. Beautiful ceiling in room. Shower doors in our room were difficult to work but everything else was wonderful.

Cons: Parking was full when we checked in. Elevator is tiny (entire hotel is on 4th floor of building and guests are buzzed into street entrance by intercom). Shower is a stall that tends to flood the bathroom. No English-language channels on TV. Pros: clean, comfortable, excellent location, lovely breakfast with great view, staff is accommodating and English-speaking.

Excellent location for all the sights. Friendly and great value hotel. The only negative point was there were no instructions anywhere for fire escape and we had to walk along to our room through a maze of corridors. The room was very noisy as the windows did not close completely.

Overall we were reasonably satisfied with this hotel, but they should have warned us in advance that the lift was being replaced - if we'd been infirm or disabled, it would have been impossible to stay here. As it was, four large flights of stairs were hard work. The room was clean, but carpets in the corridors were grubby. The booking led us to believe that we'd have to queen size beds, but it turned out to be a twin room. The breakfast roof terrace made up for some of the negative points and for Italy, the breakfast buffet had a reasonable selection.
