One easy block from the beach and well located to explore the Algarve from end to end. The room had a mini fridge and fairly large for Europe.

Is quite and relaxing also is really safe area.

Nice hotel with great staff. Brilliant location right on the beach and next to the bus stop that takes you to the airport. Breakfast was varied and of decent quality.

Really close to the beach! Decent sized room with a nice air conditioner that really cooled me down after a day on the beach. Restaurants within 3 minutes of walking distance from the hotel.

It's not that there was anything wrong with the Quarteirasol per se, its just that the room I was given bore no resemblance to the room I was expecting from the picture on the Hotels.com booking page and on the hotel's own website. Had I been expecting a small dark room then I would have got what I expected. However the first two photos showed a Standard Seaview Double to be a bright room with a large balcony (the fourth, after a picture of the bathroom, showed a smaller room but I didn't go that far). I went back to the desk and asked for a room with a balcony but there was none available for the first 2 nights of my 4 night stay. The reception guys Gabriel and Diago were lovely but the website is misleading. I ended up with a room with a tiny balcony. Luckily i was alone because the room itself was so small that it was difficult to get around the bed and there was only one chair. On a more positive note the breakfast was fine and the swimming pool was lovely. I would happily stay here again but I would have much lower expectations next time.

It was a perfect relaxing visit It was very reasonably priced . Great breakfast. Friendly helpful staff who went out of their way to help. Very chilled vibe. Great location excellent weather. I event trued the oool. Clean and not too chilly. Overall fantastic!

A great area to stay in and a good sea view room. Good buffet breakfast. The only downside was the fact that we overlooked a derelict hotel as well as the lovely sea view!

The reception at the hotel was good, the staff was polite, and we got a good apartment. It's a good-sized apartment, with a partial sea view. What I didn't like was the bathroom door, which has glass, and if it is turned on at night, it lights up the entire room and wakes up the other person. The same is true for the air conditioning display, which is strong and illuminates the room. But the beds are very comfortable and the breakfast is delicious and varied.

Good hotel for a short winter break in Quarteira. Good breakfast, close walk to the beach. Parking close to the property might be an issue at times.

Lovely hotel, great breakfast and close to the beach. Would have been nice to have complimentary coffee, or as a minimum two cups to allow use of the kettle provided.

The hotel was a little run down. Pool was closed; No plug stopper in the bathroom; shower holder was broken; pillows uncomfortable.

There is a bit smell of dump in reception area we were unsure who we neede to raise it and thought it is only small issue among many good things but enough to spoil those goods. Beautiful country and wheather we like to come back!!!

The room was very basic good size but definitely not a suite - only a room with a sofa. The restaurant and lobby bar were not open.

Good value for money, good location for beach

The staff are very nice, they make you feel welcomed and are very knowledgeable about the area. Lots of seating areas in the lobby. Just a block away from the beach.

The room was supposed to have central AC but it was not working for a week when we arrived, so there was a portable AC in the room which was super loud and noisy, whith a duct going out of the only window in the room, and there was no AC at all in the hallway of 7th floor and it was very hot and humid! The room I paid for was supposed to be sea view, the room we got had a window with the adjacent tall hotel building and a only a small sliver of the sea in the far and even that was blocked by the portable AC, To be honest, the hotel or expedia should refund me as none of the items I paid for were delivered

The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. Hotel room was small but clean. Only issue is that it is beside a rundown hotel.

The room was lovely and so were the staff. Breakfast was quite filling. There was a pool and sauna too. The beach is a long strip and 2 minutes away from the hotel. I'll be back.
