Good location. It would have been good if they changed the bedsheets at least every other day but they were never changed, just bed made with same sheets. Breakfast was good.

We loved our stay at the condo. Beautiful front ocean view and the condo was nice and clean. Lots of amenities. Definitely recommended.

Great location. Right on the beach. We did not receive check in email and had to call. They ended up texting it. Property is a little old but kept up decent. Plenty of close parking. Grocery carts provided to lug our stuff up to condo. We were happy and enjoyed our stay.

We loved staying at Sugar Beach our view from the lanai was the perfect ocean view. We had everything we needed for our stay.

Located in a prime spot if you want to travel the whole island. Plus everything you need is within a 10 minut drive.

Condo had a nice homie vibe which was great to come back to after our daily outings. It had everything you needed like dishes, beach towels, beach chairs/umbrella, and washer& dryer which was great to wash swim wear and towels. The community is pretty quiet & peaceful, probably bc it’s mainly older gen. staying there. There is a ABC store about a 10 min walk & a times grocery store about a 10 min drive it’s cheaper than Safeway. The bay was nice to watch at night but it can get chilly & dark come 8:30pm which is when the island starts shutting down. No sunset view during May by the bay but we were told that during Feb-April the bay will have whales & their babies hanging out before heading out to Alaska and we missed it. Only down side of the this place was not being able to swim in the bay as the few times we tried the wind kept lifting up sand and it felt like you were being slapped in the face with it plus the water was dark blue & cold, not to inviting like the rest of the island so we went to other beaches close by, my favorite was Maluaka beach with the turtles. This condo is also located almost in the middle of the island great if you plan on roaming different areas of the island each day like we did.

They did not text me when it was ready! Great view! The apartment was old! Needs up grading ! The building was good! Bed ok, needs an upgrade! I would be willing to pay more for an upgrade!

I liked this place because it was centrally located on the island, on the beach, nice view, spacious and clean.

We have stayed in two other units in this complex. This was the least renovated and had carpet. Besides the carpet, the place is good

Great view of the ocean and a well appointed condo. Snack bar is not for everyone but the food was good. Centrally located to the bigger areas and the harbor. A good price point for a nice quiet vacation. We will return

While the location and the feeling of an almost private beach was awesome, as well as the proximity to Ululani’s shave ice and a small ABC store, the unit itself was outdated, had cobwebs in the corners, and a terrible AC unit. It barely cooled off the space and we were there at a time when the weather wasn’t that terribly hot. Even at night, the unit didn’t seem to cool significantly. I would love to say I’d come and stay again since everything around the property and the pool and beach access were amazing, but we probably won’t.

The room and view was amazing. The beach was clean and relaxing. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The property was very well maintained. Overall, this was one of our best vacation stays so far!! Thank you, Sugar Beach!!

On the beach in Kehei Maui HI

Great location. Sort of central to everything we were doing. Tour service (Coalette) was super helpful. On site massage (Massage Maui) was great! Dinas was great for a quick bite. The scenes was just amazing. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful view from upper floor and very comfortable

Oceanfront view and on the beach was fantastic. We ate on patio every morning and listened to the waves which was great. Bedroom is on other side so not noisy while sleeping. There were spots on the carpet in front of the door that were not appealing to see when you walk in. Also the carpets and area carpets seemed like they needed cleaning. Area carpets had spots that looked like they could've been easily washed out. Shower door was broken but management was going to fix it fast. Shower is very small and needs upgrading. Kitchen needs upgrading also as its pretty old but still functionaland it was nice to have a full kitchen with pans and dishes and a coffee-maker. All-in-all we loved it tho, cuz of the oceanfront and views and being on a nice beach.

Loved the area we stayed in, was close to the freeway and close to everything. From our balcony looking out was the beach. Beach was beautiful and not crowded. Would stay here again.

Horrible experience when we got to Sugar Beach Resort. We reserved 2 rooms on hotels.com and already paid since April 2021. When we got there only 1 room was reserved and the receptionist said she couldn't help us. Called hotels.com several times and waited 2-3 hours (ruined our whole day due to waiting for a response and being put on hold). Called Vacasa and they said only 1 room was reserved but explained that I reserved 2 rooms and paid full price since April but they said it's hotels.com fault. They can't give us another room because the resort was fully booked but we could stay at the resort with 6 adults and 2 kids in 1 room. It was very uncomfortable sharing 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. Vacasa and hotels.com are pointing at each other who's fault for not reserving 2 rooms even though they got my money. I called hotels.com for a refund for the other room since yesterday and no response yet. I will give them 48 hours to call me back or I will call my lawyer for the inconvenience and stress this whole situation caused us.

The pictures on the site were somewhat deceptive in that they included a photo that showed an ocean view which this unit clearly did not have. That photo should be removed. Aside from that the lanai view facing the little koi pond and waterfall with a peek a boo view of the ocean was pleasant. The unit itself needs some updating. The carpet is very tired looking. Housecleaning was subpar: the fitted sheet on our bed had a stain that looked fresh (like blood) so I stripped the bed and the stain came right out indicating that perhaps the cleaner forgot to change this from the previous occupant. The pillows were limp and old. Invest in some new pillows please.

Definitely no sugar here. The best part about the stay was proximity to the ocean and the views. The place is a dump and needs a remodel. Power outage and then water leaks. While on vacation was interrupted by maintenance so they can go inside to check on a water leak. Then we find out the water will be turned off the next day for a few hours. Can you imagine lounging in your condo and being told that you won't have any of the amenities you paid for? Good thing we were out exploring the island that day. Check in time is 3pm and check out time is 10am? No shaka love here..

When we first arrived I was concerned about the dirty carpet prior to our arrival. The Mgmt company had the carpet cleaned. The location is wonderful easy access to Kihei, Lahaina and the airport. The ocean is steps away and you can fall asleep to the sounds of the waves.
