We spent a week in New England and this was by far the best accommodation. There was a lovely sitting room with a fireplace and coffee all day long. The breakfast was restaurant quality, delicious and healthy - freshly cooked eggs, plain Greek yogurt with berries, overnight oats, fresh pastries, etc. Our king room was fantastic with comfortable mattresses and even a fake fireplace with remote control. Despite the cold weather we still enjoyed the lake and beachfront, our toddler loved throwing rocks in the water. The natural setting was absolutely beautiful. Hoping to come back one day and this time will stay longer. You need a whole day to just relax and soak it all in!

Truly an Amazing stay. The proximity to the lake was perfect. Also, I am not sure if it was just due to the time of year, but the lake was so peaceful, so quiet - a perfect weekend getaway.

The staff were fantastic. Warm and very helpful. They do teamwork well. The breakfasts were excellent. Our room had a sitting room which we enjoyed. The lake is nearby. You could walk or drive. Theres a lifeguard or two from 10 to 5 andvthe water is remarkably clean and clear. The breakfasts were extraordinary with a menu that changed daily. And a self serve area with perfectky fresh cut fruit, delicious Greek yogurt, granola, in house made pastries and a variety of juices.

We spent one night at the Inn. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was (very) small but sufficient. Bathroom was also very small. We did have some issues with the water temp in the shower though.

Room 10 had 2 windows with a view of pleasant lake! Comfortable bed ; a bit cool AC at night - found a blanket in closet Great showr despite small size. Overall staff wonderful; friendly and efficient.

Lovely property, quintessential New England Inn on a a lake. Lots of Adirondack chairs and chairs to admire views over the lake. Has canoes, paddle boards and a row boat free for use of their guests, (although unfortunately someone had stolen the drain plug for row boat so we went out it sank) Check the plug! No harm done, we were only in a foot of water.

Beautiful historic inn set in the tranquility of mother nature, across from Pleasant Lake with trails in walking distance. Beautiful grounds with views of the lake from its many tables on a terrace, or if you prefer chairs on the lawn. After an hour long hike, I returned to have a delicious glass of Chardonnay on the terrace while listening to the birds. I was graced with witnessing a majestic blue heron fly by toward the lake...priceless...
The room is clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The inn offers sitting rooms, a fireplace, games, books, and a dining area looking out onto the lake...just beautiful, comfortable and serene...

We visited middle of the winter, so not the busy season at all. There were only a few others staying that weekend. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast, which is included, was really good. A full breakfast with all you could want and more. The rooms were our only slight disappointment. We don't mind a small cozy room, but they are quite small the the bathroom even smaller. We just felt the photos online of the rooms were not very accurate to the actual size. The shower was about 30"x30". The room very tiny.

The pillows in the bed was very comfortable. Slept well! We were on the third floor in room 10 and it was a little bit warm maybe being so high up in the building, but we were able to open the window and loved the amenity of having a tower fan available in our closet. The walls are a little bit thin and we heard the person next door snoring during the night. The fan helped drown out the noise but earplugs on the bedside tables might be a nice addition. Thank you.

Beautiful inn to spend time at if one is in the area. Staff is VERY accommodating. Our bed was perfect. The sitting area in our room was very nice as well. Public spaces are cozy and inviting. Breakfast was substantial. If one is pondering whether or not a stay here is questionable, then consider no longer and book a visit…the rewards are many!

It took me several trips around the property in order to find the appropriate entrance and parking areas. I feel that the directions could have been more clearly marked, especially for people arriving late in the day.

The staff was friendly, especially Lisa, the room was comfortable, and the food at the restaurant was fantastic. We also loved that they had a Tesla charger right on site! There was a beautiful view of both the lake and mountain from our room, and breakfast was included!

Second stay was great! Welcoming owner, COVID safe. Excellent breakfast with the Best service! Only downside is tiny tv and WiFi doesn’t work the best in parking lot but great otherwise (including inside). Lots of great hiking trails nearby.
