It was a wonderful stay as usual. We have stayed here before and love everything about it

Interesting experience staying in an old historic building like this, but I don’t think I’d stay here again. We stayed in the main inn on the 3rd floor, and we could hear every step our neighbors above and adjacent to us made. I had requested a top floor room when I made the booking 6 months in advance, and called a few weeks before to ask again, but was immediately told it just depends on what’s available at check in. The floors are creaky and slanted, which adds to the charm, but doesn’t make for a restful, quiet evening.
Ultimately, if you want the experience, this is a solid choice, but if you want a quiet room, I’d look elsewhere.

Requested beach-facing in advance but did not get. Also, we generally stay in hotel, but this time we were placed in separate building which was not as nice as previous stay. Beds were very comfortable, bath/room/building quite dated.

Main hotel building nice, motel like buildings externally and grounds needing a littke tlc. Was a bit disappointed with the location of the room, was patio but wouldn't really have wanted to sit out there as no view. Room though was large and clean. Bathroom and shower just okay. Continental buffet breakfast absolutely fine and staff very pleasant.

The property is centrally located on Shore road in the heart of down town Ogunquit,. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants., beach and to the famous marginal way tail which follow the coast line.
The staff at the Colonial Inn is amazing. From our check in to checking out they provided excellent service.

This was our first trip to the Colonial Inn. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff was welcoming and efficient!!! Highly recommend this for your next Ogunquit stay!!

The colonial Inn seems run down but it was clean. We liked having the pool, fire pit, shuffle board court as extra amenities to take advantage of. Loved the daily live music from 4-6 pm. It is definitely an excellent location walkable to town. The beach is a bit of a walk but doable. Wish the breakfast could be better. The Inn is missing a hot breakfast variety. Overall, it was adequate for our 4 day stay.

The Colonial Inn is paradise in Ogunquit! i have stayed here 3 times and will definately be back after school closes next year or maybe even in May for a weekend. The staff is so nice, Ashley the manager is awesome. And what can I say about the chocolate chip cookies offered at 2PM!I love the wrap around front porch to enjoy morning coffee or takeout I got from The Village Market in the evening.

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at the Colonial. The one issue that was unfortunate was that the guest staying the room above us (we were in 613 ) were loud and rambunctious until nearly 2:00 am. We have stayed at the Colonial many times over the years without incident so we will chalk it up to an isolated event. It did however, disturb our sleep and the experience of being in Ogunquit,

I was disappointed in how dated it seemed, it looked much more modern and fresh in the pictures. Front desk staff was very friendly and informative.

Very nice room, (A/C was rather noisy) Hot tub..was hot, nice pool. Breakfast was just basic, bagel/toast/muffin. Have had better in other nearby hotels (waffle maker etc.)
The staff was excellent. The Mini fridge had no freezer section for my ice pack to refreeze.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Colonial Inn! Everyone working there was super friendly and so helpful! Charlene greeted us at the front desk and was a pleasure. Our room was clean and comfortable! I loved the bed! We both got a great night of rest. The continental breakfast had so many options but my favorite was the fresh fruit. We highly recommend staying here!

Found dead bugs in my room, the bedskirt is dirty, stains everywhere. Not worth paying 400$ CAD. Dissapointed in the cleanliness

The property had a beautiful lobby and the pool was warm. It was easily walkable to marginal way, downtown and the beach. Beautiful spot! Great for families!

The Colonial is a great spot in OGT for a stay. It boasts a generous lobby with games, drinks for purchase and a wrap-around porch. It also has a small heated pool and hot tub. We were expecting to be able to see the water but from the ground floor you cannot. Overall it’s a good hotel.

This was a return trip to The Colonial. This place is lovely with comfortable rooms (we were in Shorebirds) with two queen beds, a porch with table and chairs, a nice sized fridge and microwave.
Main Inn has a great wraparound porch with ample seating. The inside lobby area with a nice seating area for breakfast or a drink. Continental breakfast is plenty to fill you up for the day.
Lastly, a friendly, welcoming staff. Smiles from anyone we encountered. We look forward to our next visit.

Wonderful and clean room and super helpful stuff!! The breakfast in bags was lovely prepared and included everything we needed. We ate outside and enjoyed the view! Perfect way to start the day!
