A good hotel with a very helpful staff, but unfortunately located in a very noisy part of the town.

The apartment was of a good size with 1 separate double bedroom, bathroom, toilet, kitchen dining room lounge with a double sofa bed and plenty of storage. The hotel is flexible and you can book room only, bed & breakfast or half board and even mix it up if you like. We ate breakfast and evening meals once during our 7 night stay and found the food and service to be very good but we dont like to be tied down to set eating times so we ate in other restaurants and bars located in the town. The bar in the hotel was very nice with plenty of comfortable sofas and reasonable drink prices. The spa and swimming pool were of a very high quality. Your ski equipment can be stored securely in the hotels ski locker room that is nice and warm just like every other area of the hotel. The hotel is centrally located within easy walking distance of the City Express, bus station and the train station. There are plenty of shops, mini markets, restaurants and bars around, there is even an ice skating rink and indoor swimming pool just 10 mins walk away. We took a day off from skiing and went into Salzburg on the train on Christmas Eve Day, the train takes about 1 hour 40 mins at a cost of €12 pp return, the hotel has maps of the city and can offer advice on places to visit & bars with views of the city that you can relax in. This is our second visit to Zell am See and we would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Nice hotel

The hotel is well located in the town centre. The rooms are a bit old-fashioned and dark, though.
