It was a good hotel overall, conditions were not the best, elevator bit dodgy but works, room was massive and full of space. Bathroom door for shower was broken on one side, not fully functional but overall it was good. On top of a small shopping center, there is Poncho fast food open next door which doesn't accept card and a supermarket crossing road that does accept card. Macdonalds literally infront so good location.

The rooms are comfortable and cozy, staff friendly and kind. Great bfast and its a greta location for any type of stay. Highly reccommend.

Very nice staff. Breakfast is adequate. The hotel is clean. The hotelnis a bit difficult to locate as its reception is found on the send floor of a building, and it is 20-min away (by bus) from the city center. Overall, I had a pleasant stay in the hotel.

English speaking reception was great! Helped me, provided full consultation, explained me how to go to places i wish, what to buy, how to economy etc. Rooms are cleaned everyday, bathroom is clean, towels are fresh, furniture is new and comfortable. Wonderful and comfortable transfer to and from airport, great driver who told me about main places to visit and provided help in airport and showed museum of aviation.
Staying in this hotel is really wonderfull experience!

The room was quite clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and bountiful. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. There are numerous dining options nearby.

Excellent staff, always polite and service minded. Perfect location, not in the city center which is good for calm evenings but yet close enough to get to center by 10 minutes in a cab. It's our third stay at this hotel and we are always pleased!

They even had a little gift box for me as i was leaving, filled with my favorite vanilla croissant from breakfast, since I expressed how much I loved them many days before. This is how you run a hotel! Whenever i come back to Belgrade, expect to see me again Balkan Garni!

For a 3 star review i thought this hotel was fantastic. Amazing staff made me feel welcome all the way from Canada! :) Very helpful with travel arrangements in taxis etc. Also very helpful when staff can you buzz you in at 3am when you come back late from having too much fun :) I plan on heading back to Belgrade this October/November and plan to use this Hotel again. I loved Belgrade feels like my true home there.

We slept wery good in comfortable beds and whith aircondition in the room. The staf were wery serviceminded and helpfull. We used the transportation service from and to the airport and the driver picked us up at the right time and drove carefully. The only thing we were a little dissappointed whith, was the breakfast. For example, we missed signs that described the different dishes and there were not so much to choose from. However, it tasted well and the coffey was very good.

I was upgraded to a double room with a balcony which had a great view. The balcony was large with table and 4 chairs. The hotel which is located inside a mall is in a excellent location. There are trams and bus running right outside the hotel so you can go most places with public transport. The staff is excellent and they are very polite and always eager to help. The staff helped me sort out Taxi booking to sarajevo. There are plenty of shops so food and shopping is not problem. The breakfast had loads of local food stuff and was of good quality. The room and bathroom was large, modern and very clean. The wifi was excellent. Overall a very good hotel in belgrade.

Being a family owned and managed hotel, the staff made me feel very welcome and warm during my winter vacation. The service is beyond commendable - a lot better than most hotels I have stayed in. Breakfast is always sumptous. The room is clean and well maintained. The staff made sure that every aspect of my stay is satisfactory, something that bigger hotels sadly lack nowadays. The location is easily accesible by bus/tram and with lots of restaurants in the vicinity. I will definitely be back in the summer.

Hotel location is little bit confusing at the beginning but once you get used to it is very easy. They offer laundry service but you have to pay when check out it is not part of the hotel. Overall hotel is located at perfect location anything you need is in walking distance.

Good facilities and a good clean rooms although a bit distance from the centre of Belgrade. A good buffet breakfast is provided every and the staff are very obliging and helpful.

a quick stopover on way from uk to Bulgaria so only there one night. quite hard to find but luckily a kind local took us straight to it. good sized rooms, clean, comfortable and very friendly & helpful staff. Overall excellent value for money and would def recommend

Our stay at this hotel was great! Much more than expected, as the staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean and the breakfast was amazing! The staff speaks English well and will help you find places to visit, get taxis, or provide a shuttle.

Good hotel, with above average service. However there were a few drawbacks, access was poor for someone who requires a lift and a bit too far from the city. Also they did not give us a double bed.

When we first arrived our impression was to be a little disappointed as the hotel was not especially noticeable from the outside and we had to climb several flights of stairs to get to the entrance (only inconvenient as I am currently awaiting knee surgery and would not be suitable for the elderly). However, once having met the staff and had breakfast, we became more accepting of the situation. A little further away from the center than we anticipated but taxis cheap and buses very frequent. Would suggest everyone goes to the Bohemian area of Belgrade to experience the ambiance, especially at night.

This is the second time I am staying in Balkan Garni. I had a very good time at the hotel. The staff are excellent. I booked a single room and was offered a family room with additional sofa. And this time no smell of smoke in the room. Very good! No good restaurants close by however the staff offered to arrange to and fro taxi to a nearby restaurant. Will definitely stay in Balkan Garni in future. Thanks
