Great place to stay in Ridgecrest

The man was genuinely surprised I requested ice... in an American motel. The Internet was early 1990s standards. I had to go to the parking lot to catch some precious waves. The door didn't lock... Well, I did have a bed! Nextdoor Motel 8 would have been better.

There was no wash cloth. The sheets looked as if they hadn’t been changed. There was chocolate on the bed spread from the previous guest.

Check in was pretty smooth. Lady who helped was nice, but she had a hard time finding my reservation. Got to our room and it has one bed, and we had four people. So had to go back and ask for a different room. Once we got that and we're settled, we assessed the room situation. Floor was very dirty, we saw hair in the corners. Bathroom was old and dirty. Also, bathroom door wouldn't close, which was awkward for anyone using it. Fridge looked very old but at least it worked. Overall, price was good, but we will not stay here again. Too old, too dirty, and needs a lot of improvements.

Questionable activities involving other guests. Handicaped people upstairs. Dirty around building perimeter. No blanket available. Lousy cable, crappy internet, no coffee available. I know travel inn is low in the quality level of hotels, you get what you pay for, but come on, step up a bit.

Ac.unit was terrible, didn't cool the room down and it wasn't even hot. Bathtub had piece missing so it was just an open hole. You definitely get what you pay for! Also very noisy at 5am, not the hotels fault.

Poor Wi-Fi. Room only marginally clean. Desk clerk was nice and polite. Overall this is a run down place and not worth the money

My stay was quite excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. From the outside it doesn’t appear like this but looks are deceiving. The price is right and I would definitely recommend staying and stay with them again

Travel Inn was a great value. We were passing through town from Death Valley National Park and just wanted a basic room for the night at a low price. Travel Inn was perfect for that purpose. The location was convenient, and the gentleman managing the place was friendly, kind, and helpful from check-in to check-out.

The room looked nothing like the pictures. It was dirty air conditioner wasn’t working properly. The shower was dirty had black stuff around the bottom. Pillows had dirty spots on them.

There was no hot water and the TV did not work. There were broken beer bottles in the parking spaces next to our room. Also, there were no blankets just a thin bed spread and sheets.

This hotel was disgusting, found hairs all over the bed looked like pubes. The front person was rude and the non-smoking room I got smelled disgusting. All the horrible reviews are true!! Do not rent here. A new name and fresh paint did not change anything here.

Ramen noodles in the not working air conditioner. Way to many rules for 50$ deposit and with dirty sheets and bad smells. Booked room for mom while she was visiting she was not impressed. Disruptive guests walking past room window all night.

They will not return your security deposit. It’s been ten days and they have no returned it to my credit card. They told me when I was there they would refund my deposit the next day, obviously that was a lie. Don’t stay here, you’ll end up paying double for a room not worth $50.

Terrible, has been the worst motel ever seen. Very dirty, AC not cooling, appliances seemed never have been cleaned. Stove was from another century!

This place was fine but avoid when hot. They don't turn the AC on when the rooms are vacant so it was about 100 degrees in the room and took at least 4 hours for the AC to get down into the 80s when it was 110 outside. Very minimal and kinda dirty along the walls and things but the bed felt clean and the floor felt clean and that's what I care about. For the price, I would stay here again only if it were 80 degrees or less out.

Horrible people very rude and non helpful. Had a reservation to stay for 2 weeks he cancelled because of my service dogs. ADA says I can have service dogs, but he refused. I will never use them again, would never recommend them either.

Customer needs to wait for 20-25 minutes to get service because no one there to serve.Also they told me check out time is 11 am so if I check out earlier it is not expected for them. Their availability is poor.

Checkin no problem, was able to enter into their office after ringing a doorbell. Was given a non-smoking room, however it smelled heavy of smoke that I had to open up the windows. Room was otherwise clean. The shower curtain was dirty at the top. The bed pillows were big, stiff and hard. The mattress was flimsy and had no support. The tv would turn off every 10 minutes.

This hotel was awful. The room was so dirty and there were hairs and greasy food crumbs all over the refrigerator and surfaces. The shower knobs were hanging off the wall and the "air vent" was literally a HUGE hole in the ceiling with a plastic piece haphazardly glued over it. I would not recommend this place even for $46/night. My partner is thru-hiking the PCT and our standards are very low. This place was just gross and it felt very insecure. The owner was also incredibly rude when our key stopped working. He basically said that you have to rapidly shake and jiggle the electronic key in the lock to gain entry to the room. I very rarely leave negative reviews but this hotel warrants it and I reckon the other two OYO locations in Ridgecrest are just as bad.
