We were in Zagreb overnight. Hotel was in an excellent location to walk to major attractions within our very limited time The hotel is in a charming historic building. The rooms have modern amenities while the hallways maintain historic character. Although located in a busy part of the city, it sits on a passageway that separates it from street noise. Breakfast is served in a beautiful garden courtyard. The hotel has no elevator and would be difficult for someone with mobility issues to navigate. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Note that Uber drivers cannot pick up at the hotel entrance but at a corner a block or so away.

Jagerhorn Hotel is just the perfect spot, has the BEST location in town between up town and down town, from shopping to dining to markets and bars, you have it all👍 very friendly and cordial staff. My only “concern” is the strong odor coming out the sinks.

Nice staff, clean room I loved the breakfast

Hotel Jagerhorn is a treat. It is quiet, the beds are comfortable, and I was able to rest there. Its central location is perfect. Breakfast is good. It is in a pedestrian zone, so no parking right at the hotel, but they have a small lot nearby, where I parked. Staff is super-polite and helpful. Great for me, but it may not be for everybody. It has no elevator, so if you don’t like steps, that may trouble you. If you are on the upper floor (the hotel has just 18 rooms) the roof will slant over you, welcome to architecture. And, finally, the building’s AC is too weak for the task, so in very hot weather your room may never get comfortably cool. For location, ambiance, service, and all-around classiness, this is a superb hotel, and will be my first choice if I am fortunate enough to visit Zagreb again.

Great place to stay while in Zagreb! Highly recommend!

This is a charming and hidden gem in the heart of Zagreb. Parking is a little hard to find, but I was happy that they offered it (for free also), and the directions they gave were easy. You'll want to call beforehand to get parking directions, because the road where the hotel is cannot be accessed by vehicles other than public transport. The front desk clerk was very kind and brought us some extra fans, since it had been raining, and the room was a little humid and warm. But it cooled off quickly, and we slept well. The breakfast was wonderful, and you really are in the heart/downtown of old town Zagreb!

This property is at city Centre but tucked away at the same time. There is a beautiful outdoor cafe with a stairwell leading to Upper Town. Very nice!

A wonderful hotel set back from the main road but in the center of town. Very comfortable with a wonderful breakfast.

The best part of this hotel is the location. It is located smack in the middle of the main tourist section of Zagreb and that's if you walk out the front. If you go out the back there is staircase that takes you right up to the Old section of Zagreb.

The hotel is in an amazing location, walking distance to upper and lower town and on the tram line. Reception was lovely and helpful. The room is very small and no lift if you have bags to take to the 2nd floor. Breakfast is nice and in a lovely setting.

The hotel was clean but had the smell of cigarettes in the hallway. We were on the “first floor” which meant we had to walk up to two flights of stairs with suitcases, and no elevators. However, the room we stayed in was nice and clean. But for the price, would rather stay elsewhere next time.

Lovely hotel in the middle of old town Zagreb. The staff at reception were very helpful. Bed was comfortable. Beautiful courtyard for breakfast. Would definitely recommend and will return!

Everyone at Hotel Jagerhorn was friendly and welcoming! They helped find your locations and dinner recommendations. When we missed breakfast, they offered a pastry and coffee on the house! Our one night stay in Zagreb was great. This hotel has a great location in the center of the pedestrian area and close to businesses, restaurants and Christmas markets. The suite’s extra room was a bit uncomfortable because of the steep angle of the room with 1 twin bed at each end of the room. Perhaps a full or queen size bed in the center would have been more comfortable and inviting. The bedroom was quite comfortable and so was the bathroom. The staff gave us a fabulous recommendation for a lical restaurant nearby which we enjoyed very much. The entrance to the hotel was festively decorated and lit for Advent and Christmas which put us all in a celebrating mood. See picture.

Old but clean and nicely maintain the facilities and friendly staff so feel cozy. The best thing is the location of the hotel. I don't need to take a tram for 3 days trip and visit all the travel spots in the town. Only the thing for not-good is a bed mattress is too soft for me.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great every morning. My only complaint was we couldn’t have our curtains open because our window was level with the courtyard and people would sit there all day and night.
