Very close to everything yet peaceful with a great little sunset hike on the property. The hosts were very welcoming, personable and helpful with a great knowledge of the region and its attractions. Highly recommend staying here.

Love how this accomodation embraces the local landscape. So beautiful and serene in amongst the rocks that give this awesome region its name. We would love to come back in the warmer months. We enjoyed the cold and had a cosy fire with plenty of wood. Room was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Scott and Deb, the owners are friendly, delightful and helpful.

The overall cleanliness and tidiness off the property was spectacular. The unique walking tracks also built into the area take you up to an incredible lookout which is a must on a sunny clear day. Staff were friendly and couldn’t of had a more welcoming experience.

I think we may have been spoilt as 2 ears ago we also stayed in this type of accomodation in the Barossa and this became our gold standard. The rooms were fine but I would make the following suggestions 1 Please consider adding Nespresso pod machines in each unit. 2 Make wifi available in all units and not just the lounge 3 I understand it was a continental breakfast but this should have Included peaches or apricots to add to the cereal 4 In our Accom in Barossa we were delivered a fresh baked loaf Each morning and it was delivered warm 5 Finally given Stanthorpe is the home of apples I thought there Would have been a small basket in our room with a few of The local,apple varieties Many thanks for the opportunity to comment

We stayed at The Rocks for five days, just relaxing and exploring the Stanthorpe area. Our hosts, Debbie and Scott .we very welcoming and helpful and gave great advice on things to do and see. The cottage was exceptionally clean, well set up and comfortable. The setting is spectacular: isolated from traffic noise but close to town. We loved our stay and would recommend The Rocks very highly.

Absolutely loved it here. The owners Debbie and Scott were lovely. The cabins were clean, thoughtfully set out with everything we needed, the shower was spacious, fireplace was so cosy with it all set up ready to go and the grounds there on the property are a wonderful surprise in themselves. Kangaroos grazing on the lawn and local birdlife coming for a visit. Would certainly go back!

Great hosts and very peaceful. It’s close to town and all all the highlights of the area but far enough away to feel private and relaxed. Highly recommend.

The whole experience was great, the owners were happy, helpful & ready to offer advice as to where to eat & visit. The cabin very well set up with all you could need, cheese board & dip bowls & platters, perfect for a DVD night at home sipping wine after visiting some of the local wineries. Warm and cosy with a fireplace ready to go when we arrived.

We had the most amazing weekend getaway at 31 the rocks. The owners were so hospitable and helpful assisting us book taxis and restaurants as wel as suggest places to visit. Our villa was outstanding so modern and the decor was perfect. They have really thought of everything - from makeup specific towels to fresh bread and setting the fire up for us. The property itself is beautiful and we woke up to see wallabies from our verandah. Could not fault and will definitely be back!

Had a wonderful stay and our hosts were lovely people.

Lovely tranquil setting, good location for visiting Stanthorpe, wineries and Girraween National Park. The log fire was a real plus as the nights were quite cool in June. Our hosts thought of everything but were never intrusive, making our stay perfect.

Everything great at this place. No Wifi at this accommodation.

The hotel is nice, though a little bit dated. This is overcome by how clean the rooms are and also how lovely the owners are. There is plenty of lovely wineries within driving distance.
