Jackie’s is perfect for a peaceful healing retreat far from the hustle and noise. The food is fresh and local and the staff is gentle and kind . Jackie makes the visit especially magical with her loving presence on this beautiful reef. We had a surperb week at Jackie’s on the Reef!

Beautiful wellness retreat and a life altering experience

I recently spent 4 nights and days at Hackie’s in the Reef. Since U live in northern New England, my visit was a welcome relief from the frigid temperatures va k home! I was pleasantly surprised by aspects of the location and package that were revealed once I began my stay. From the variety of on-site massage/body treatments to the communal environment and personal attention of the owner, my vacation was an amazing value!

I had a wonderful experience at Jackie's. it's not your average hotel. more like a guesthouse and Jackie is a wonderful host. She takes care of everything. the yoga classes are great, the food is delicious, and spa treatments are amazing- definitely recommend the body scrub and deep tissue from Paulette. the reef is not on the beach itself- but fear not, it's a pretty close cab ride away. it's also close to Rick's Cafe, Natural's and many other fun hot spots.i went there for some much needed r&r, and came away making some new friends, and just reconnecting with nature, and of course spending some serious quality time with my friend too... overall my first time spent in Jamaica was made memorable by staying at Jackie's- i hope to be back!

This hotel option was a great getaway from the resort crowds during the holidays. I enjoyed the personalized touch and the serene atmosphere. Jackie's on the reef is not the ideal option for the adventurous traveler since it's situated way out west with little to do near by. However, there are drivers to take you into town when needed. Recommended for an extended weekend yoga and spa retreat.
