Stayed here two years ago. Just feels like it has run down a bit. Had a problem with a waiter and spoke to manager about it. Not with complaining attitude but so he would know. I’d want to know if I was mgr. not much in the way of apology… maybe the waiter was the owner’s nephew? Just. Didn’t have an overall feel of service.

Nice, grand, old hotel in a great location. Rooms could definitely use a facelift (carpet, curtains and bathroom are all pretty dated and not in a quaint kind of way). Definitely caters to an older crowd. Good breakfast.

Beautiful hotel across the street from the Bodensee. Ideal location. We definitely recommend staying here. Easy access to restaurants and the ferry. Staff was very accommodating and professional.

One of the breakfast staff was quite rude to me and embarrassed me in front of everyone. On morning 2, just the same as I did on morning 1, I went to get a croissant. Morning 2, she yelled at me and said not to do that and that I should have waited in line. I thought the line was only for people wanting meat and eggs cooked for their breakfast. The croissants were at the other end, easily accessible to anyone, so I was surprised when she scoulded me like that. I was mortified. She needs customer service training. On a brighter note, we had the most wonderful, friendly waitress at dinner both nights. Our room was comfortable, and the hotel's location is lovely.

I didn’t like the blood stain on my sheets. I had no view. Every other place I stayed in Germany I booked myself and was wonderful...don’t use Expedia again!

We had 3 lovely nights in a lake view room at Hotel Reutemann in Lindau in mid-July 2018. The hotel is located right on Lake Constance - it is a captivating setting with a close view of the boat harbour and dreamy lakeside terrace restaurant. The room was comfortable with all the facilities we seek, but the car parking was limited and we had to find a public car park after returning from a drive one evening. Lindau is a pretty town and is a great base to explore the other towns on Lake Constance. We had breakfast and dinner on the terrace each day - great atmosphere.

Hotel is lovely, a little confusing trying to find it from the hotel car park which is either €16 (underground) or €13 (overground) a night, we did return after 10pm one evening which means you can't use the car park and we had to park on the street which is free until 8am, if you can find a spot... Staff are friendly, breakfast and rooms are excellent. Being used to staying in modern hotels it felt a little more traditional but offers all modern conveniences. Hotel bar was a little confusing to find but got there in the end! Breakfast is great as you get to look out over the lake. Would stay again.

Charming little island on Bodensee. Pleasant and relaxing , perfect for a we or a short vacation .We stayed one night only, but would have happily extended for Bodensee exploration if possible .

The hotel was so pleasing that we will come back again next year if we are in the area. The hotel staff was exceptional and the room/facilities were top notch. We had dinner with family at the hotel for two night and it was great.

Fantastic hotel right on the waterfront at Lindau, Lake Constance. Room beautifully appointed and hotel staff were excellent, very friendly and super-efficient. Wonderful front terrace offering drinks and food and a good restaurant for full meals.

Stayed 2 nights early July. Enjoyed the atmosphere but found it incredible that there was no a/c in the room. Did not expect that from an hotel of this class. Realize, that we were there in an extreme heat wave, July 4-6. Even getting a fan for the room was initially a problem but front desk clerk Anna was brilliant and came to our rescue.
