The staff are very friendly and the artwork is amazing!

The manor house was so beautiful with a quaint and artistic look. Very well maintained and a jolly good host. Ray was available when we reached his home and made sure settled In comfortably. He made us a yummy omelette in the morning. We also had bread, cereal, fruits and an assortment of jams. We had a chance to meet and talk to the other guests who had traveled from Sydney and the UK which was a lot of fun. Loved the stay. Would highly recommend this cute manor.

We really loved the location to the city center and most of all our property managers!! They have been the most helpful people in the world!!

Lovely historic villa with well maintained grounds. There is a modern aircon/heatpump and ensuite attached to each comfortable guest room. Ray and Jules are very friendly and accomodating hosts and the location is superb for walking into Nelson center for restaurants etc. We enjoyed sitting and reading on the balcony in the late afternoon & evening. We will definitely be back.

Very friendly and helpful host and hostess. Interesting rooms and communal areas within easy walking distance of the town centre.

I would recommend this facility. Ray was wonderful! The place is so pretty and breakfast was delicious. Rooms were very clean and it is in walking distance from downtown.

The hotel staff were really great and helpful, would have done anything for you! The Interislander website was totally broken so we couldn't book it on the web. Jay was really great and phoned the company for us and let us book the ferry in his office, thanks!

Ray helped me get back a scarf that I dropped at a restaurant at lunch. He was very helpful in suggesting restaurants and accommodating by giving us breakfast early as we needed an early start when we left. Charming old Victorian home!

Fabulous B&B, nothing was too much trouble. Our hosts even ran us out to the airport. Great breakfast too, with diverse range of food available.

For people wanting something sepia in terms of character old building, old fashioned bespoke hospitality superb breakfasts . Brilliant position to wander into Nelson for dinner and to shop and sightsee. Ray could not have been more thoughtful in looking for everyday to help make our stay special

A lovely Victorian family home in a residential neighbourhood has been converted into a comfortable B&B, ably run by Jules and Ray. It really feels like arriving in a family home when entering through the fabulous wide hall. Nice sunny bedroom with en-suite, a comfortable bed and small easy-chairs and table. There is a kettle and a fridge to keep your wine or soda. It's easy to see that there is an artistic bend in the family. Over the years Jules and Ray have collected art, and paintings and fabulous pottery are displayed all throughout the house, including the guest lounge where the generous breakfast is served by Jules. Note: the coffee is very good and eggs come as you like them, with or without bacon. Breakfast company on one of the mornings was from France and from the North Island and a look in the visitors' book showed guests from around the globe had been happy there, as had we.

Fantastic stay at this lovely boutique B and B. I am looking for an excuse to go back to Nelson to stay again!
