The team were wonderful, helpful and cheerful.
The accommodation, a 5 bedroom villa with its own pool within a complex was a great find and suited our family’s needs perfectly.
The kitchen was modern and well equipped too although we didn’t use it.

It was our first time in Portugal. 4 Seasons Vilamoura was only a 30 minutes transfer from Faro airport, 10 mins in a taxi to local Marina and restaurants. There is also a good waterpark with slides and activities in a short proximity.
It is in a lovely location with shops nearby. The resort itself is great with very welcoming and friendly staff. Our kids, 12 & 10 years old made friends and spent all the time in the pools. The food was good, not as much choice as we used to but couldn't fault it. We also enjoyed the snack bar by the pool for all the ice-creams, snacks and drinks during the day.
What made our stay great was definitely the staff -they were excellent. The two bedroom apartment we stayed in was spacious and had everything we possibly could need during a week stay. The surroundings were well-maintained, clean and the pools were great.
We are definitely planning to be back again :)

Decent enough but old. Very clean, very pleasant staff but it’s 3 star really except for the pool which is 4 star. You will enjoy your time but feel like it’s a time warp to 1990.

The pictures making it look newer and updated, it’s very dated. The room I had looked like something out of the 80’s. Beds were hard as a rock. The only reason I’m giving any good stars was the front desk guy, who was doing a great job.

Booked a studio apartment last minute for 3 nights. Smart hotel, good security. Very friendly staff. Lovely pools as well as an indoor pool. Comfortable outdoor area. Spacious well equipped room, we did end up in a disabled room despite full fitness! Did feel if you were disabled there was only a shower over the bath which was quite high to get into, not a problem for us though. Had a nice meal in the lovely restaurant. Good parking.

It was our second stay at Four Seasons. We like to travel around to see amazing beaches, so it makes a perfect base for this reason. Vilamoura Marina is within walking distance. The pools areas are well kept and there is plenty of space for everybody. All the staff members deserve to be mentioned for their everyday efforts to make your stay as enjoyable as possible !
The accommodation is very good, plenty of wardrobes for your holiday outfits. Kitchens are well equipped.
We can highly recommend Four Seasons for unforgettable holidays!

Really enjoyed our second time at four seasons - staff very helpful and friendly. Apartments are a great size with well equipment kitchens. Looking forward to coming back again next Easter 😊

The hotel is very nice but not up to the real Four Seasons comfort. We were during the offseason with the expectations that the indoor pool would be great after a whole day of travels and it closed at 6pm so we never made it. So we decided for a hot bath in the room but the hot water ran out midway. Also, the breakfast was started late and ended early so for travelers around the area not suitable. But otherwise nice hotel and the staff was amazing and very helpful even making a reservation at suggested restaurants for us. Would probably stay again if I was just going for chill and sunbathing holiday.

Great proximity to Old Village and Pinhal golf course! The 2bd / 2ba apartment was spacious with a functional kitchen! Nice pools, decent gym and helpful staff round out the property!

We arrived and were greeted by helpful staff who were very friendly and polite and they made sure we had all the necessary information and knowledge for the trip and we had a great time and we enjoyed it very much, we will go back there again.

The Four Seasons Vilamoura makes for a delightful holiday. Clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and informative, always willing to help. The close vicinity to the Old Village gives it an added bonus. Third time staying there and have never been disappointed

This property desperately needs an update. It is stuck in 1990. Food was pretty bad at the restaurant as well. Overpriced for what it was. We were expecting so much more for a Four Seasons property.

Fantastic getaway location. Great hotel and amenities. We had a 2 bedroom suite for a family of 5. It was perfect. Great view of the pools from our balconies, and the apartment was well equipped with everything we needed to make small meals in. As it was Easter break, the hotel wasn't too busy.

Four Seasons is a well made, well run and very attractive resort. The surroundings are beautiful, it is in a beautiful region of Algarve and near excellent beaches and boating marinas. One would go to Vilamoura for town, shops, meals and boats. For beaches and seaside attractions, one would go to Quarteira, a lovely seaside resort nearby. We can walk to Vilamoura, but for Quarteira, use the FREE Linha Verde bus transport.

I paid for four nights in mid-November 2022 but when I checked in at the property late afternoon it seemed deserted with just one receptionist and one bar person.
Having located the barman, I ordered a beer in the bar which had been recently painted and was covered in decorating sheets. I did not stay very long as the smell of paint was overwhelming.
I was shown to my room which looked as though it was decorated in the 1980's and had a small TV on a side wooden table. I went back to Reception and complained immediately and was shown another room which was larger but also dated and drab.
I decided to leave, checked out and headed for the Hilton Vilamoura where I had stayed a few times previously in a huge room and received excellent service.
I asked the receptionist for a refund but was told that I would have to contact Expedia which I did but to date I have had no success. The company's attitude seems to be to say sorry but to take no action to resolve a customer complaint.
In conclusion, please avoid this hotel as the images on the Expedia website are misleading and in my opinion the property does not deserve its 4 star rating.

Bit like the Algarve itself, place probably peaked in the 80s, bit tatty, don’t be fooled by the Four Seasons label. Great pools though, quiet family environment so good atmosphere, good value for money i suppose.

I have no idea how this property is allowed to operate under this name. Look it up on Four Seasons actual website. They DO NOT have a property in the Algarve. This property is extremely outdated, the service is subpar, most of the services advertised were not offered and most importantly they are operating under the name Four Seasons when they are not in fact an actual Four Seasons property. They are NOWHERE NEAR Four Seasons standards. I do not recommend staying here as I cannot support a fraudulent business or an outdated, subpar hotel. Hotels.com should not be allowing bookings for this property under false pretenses.

Very friendly staff, room was spacious and comfortable, great service from check in to check out. More of a quiet area which is perfect if you are looking for a peaceful area to relax and unwind. Supermarket just down the street (5 min walk) for any essentials. Food was pretty good at the restaurant. Pool area is wonderful. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful family friendly hotel with great pools and in a perfect location! We booked a 2 bed apartment for us and our 2 children which was perfect - it was lovely and spacious with great facilities. The breakfast was perfect and the kids loved it too. A small supermarket is just round the corner which was super convenient and the taxi into the Marina was only around €4!
The hotel was amazing, the staff were lovely and welcoming and the swimming areas were fab. We will definitely book here again in the future!
