Very welcoming hostess and lovely clean room with everything you need. Right away from the road so absolute quiet. Lovely safe little lawn area in from of the suites for toddlers to run around. Super close to Cambridge town, and we loved the beautiful Lake Te Koo Utu walks. Will definitely return!

The Bali room was nice but the bed was very hard

The room was nicely themed. We had a garden outlook which was peaceful. Situated only 5 minutes out of Cambridge which allowed easy assess to town, restaurants, cycle trails. Website advertises a pool but this was not available for guest use.

We fell immediately in love with the countryside, green trees and property. Our Blackberry Cottage was adorable, cozy and comfortable! We enjoyed a lovely continental breakfast prior to our departure. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Cambridge is beautiful

Quiet, unique, no hassle. Would like room to have been serviced daily - towels, rubbish cleaned out.

My Bali room was lovely and the rural outlook was tranquil.

Thought we were closer to town, but this was way better, quiet peaceful and only a 5min drive

The property is set out of town at a quiet location. Each unit is self-contained and you can wander around the garden as you please. Very restful, comfortable bed, neat kitchenette. It had everything we needed.

Very disappointing. For advertising luxury accommodation and not even find milk in the fridge for a coffee is poor. No face cloth was provided either. The biggest concern was cleanliness. I found hair in the basin and some other alarming items (razor blade cap and sequence from clothing) from a previous guest. The property appeared to not have been cleaned properly (liquid soap found on the shower door, hair and dust). Note that truck traffic can also be heard from inside the property. Not good at all.

Loved the chalet style suites. Not great entrances when raining (no shelter over the door), but otherwise a lovely stay.

We stayed here because it was close to Mystery Creek and we had a great time . The little cottage is set in pretty gardens, peaceful and the owner and her pets were friendly and thoughtful, even leaving our light on as she knew we would be out late.

It is very obvious that Vicki has spectacular taste and loves beautiful things! We were so lucky to stay there and experience it. Everything in the suite delighted the senses. It was so beautiful!!! There were even Royal Albert cups and saucers along with a Royal Albert milk jug. Everything was the best quality and Vicki has put so much thought into making your stay special. I would have loved to stay much longer just to get the chance to read some of the many books that were in the room. I love glitz and glamour and that's what we had. We were in the Acacia Suite and I'm so glad we were. Thank you Vicki for a truly memorable stay. I'm sorry we had to leave early before we could thank you properly!! Bev and Glen xxx

What a quaint little cottage. The room was comfortable with a separate area with the T.V. and kitchenette. Owners were very accommodating and friendly. Great views over surround countryside. I would stay again.

The hostess was very welcoming and the accomodation was excellent, only lacking somewhere to store clothes. The cabin style room was very clean and tastefully decorated. The ocation was very quiet and a good night's sleep was welcome.

We had 3 people in a group. The host was saying that there will be an additional charge. I think it's fair. So, I paid $50 for the additional person (although we stayed in 5 motels/resorts/hotels in this road trip and we were being charged $35 usually for the additional person.) After paying $50, we were told that they will leave additional bedding for the 3rd person. We were happy and went out for our activity. When we returned to this couch house at around 6.30pm, we saw there was a thin single mattress and a blanket being left on the floor. I was wondering if they were in the process of coming to our room and making a rollaway bed or something. So, I went to their main house,(pls note,there is no reception but guest need to go to the host's main house to ask for help if required.) and wanted to ask if there will be a rollaway bed provided. The main house was locked and no answer after ranging the bell for a long time. I heard laughter and people chatting behind the fence. I saw the host was having a drink/party with their friends at the poolside. So,they weren't bothering to attend to the guests. No choice, my daughter was sleeping on the floor with the thin mattress and even without a pillow provided. (photos attached for what was provided for $50) Room was nice, well decorated. But the host was very arrogant and doesn't care much about customer service. So, altogether I paid $215 for a night stay but sleeping on a thin mattress without a pillow.
