It was clean, the bed was good, the price was good. Good value for the money.

I had to pay an extra $50 deposit when checked in for a non smoking room when a smoking room was no deposit and thats the one I wanted.

Management would not answer the night Bell and when I knocked on the door they got mad and yelled at me and treated me like crap would not let me have the room because I knocked on the door because they wouldn't ring they would not answer the Bell for over fifteen minutes management was very rude hostile and is very much trying to provoke me into acting on anger

Would not refund deposit.

Incredibly rude, bathrooms had no toilet paper, and well it was just utterly disgusting

No towels, bathtub fill up while taking a shower and staff couldn't even speak clear English not even worth the money that I paid

The hotel was what was expected. Nothing grand, just the cheapest in town.

We ended up staying at the Green Valley Motel because every single hotel in Winston was completely booked except this one. And for good reason- the place is completely run down. I don’t usually mind a side-of-the-road older motel for a quick stay but this was filthy. The office staff did not speak much English and I had to stand in line for half an hour behind a man booking his weekly stay. I usually shy away from hotels that offer permanent residence for weekly fees because type of “tenants” they attract. Anyway the office staff slowly handled my booking and my room was small and smelled of cigarettes (they had multiple used/stained ashtrays in the room). The bathroom was small and the tub was wet when I got there. There was lots of noise outside my room the entire night. I’m still slightly worried about possible bed bug exposure.. Overall, I would not stay here again but if they made reasonable improvements I may consider it.

Whole place looked a little bit run down. Our room had beeping smoke alarm that the staff never fixed for us. And the other guests looked pretty seedy....a lot of smokers and beer drinkers and maybe a hooker or two. Also, no ice available.

The room was very clean and the mattress was nice and firm. It's an older motel so the bathroom is pretty sad but it's a good deal for the price. TV had no remote and channels would not change by pushing the buttons. Called front desk and only response was "there is supposed to be a remote." No help very disappointing service!

One of the worst hotels I have ever been to. The service was horrendous. The staff comducted business through a security window. They were also rude, avaricious and deceitful. Hotels.com needs to disassociate itself from an establishment such as this

No one would claim that this motel was great. It's aging. The Wifi doesn't quite reach to the end rooms. The ammenities are limited, including no complimentary shampoo, small towels and an ice machine that you have to dish out a quarter for. BUT it's exactly what you need to crash for the night. The staff was friendly enough, it's easy to find off the highway, quiet and cheap. I don't need pretty comforters to sleep and I don't need big towels to dry myself and I don't need ice in my water to quench my thirst. I was happy about the stay.

No shampoo, no mini-fridge, no wi-fi, no amenities of any kind. I would not be surprised to learn this motel charged by the hour.

No WI-Fi is available in rooms. Only Wi-Fi is in sign in office. Although marked as a non-smoking room, unpleasant residual smoke odor in room. Next to a highway, heard traffic thoughout the night. I would not stay here again.

I felt like I was being stalked because my first night there my friends came to the hotel with me and the guy at the front desk was rude to us and continued to call the room to kick my friends out he stated they had an 8pm visitors time which I do not understand if u pay for tha room then no one should tell u when its time to go (we were not being loud at all so it was not necessary for him to do that). The day I checked out he called the room with a nasty attitude asking if I was leaving or keeping the room another night and it wasn't time to check out yet for him to be rude like that.
