We always stay here when coming to visit our KU student. Good value.

This is a perfectly adequate hotel at a good price and a safe area. Unfortunately the elevator stopped working on day 2 of our 3 day trip, but it’s only a 2 story hotel so not too bad. :)

First, the elevator was not working. The doors closed abruptly on my husband, in addition to shaking and uneasy. Second- the hotel is somewhat dark and dingy. Needs a good deep cleaning,and general things fixed. Wallpaper peeling on the walls of the hallways. Door in our bathroom was very hard to open and close. The whole place needs some TLC.

Both room & bathroom were clean with convenient, well maintained features. Shower had good water preasure. I would certainty recommend for a quiet stay.

Elevators were not working. Dirty towels piled across the hall from our room. Shower was a tub shower. Needed a walk-in.

It was very quiet and met all our needs for this trip.

Clean room. Didn't like - you got to ask for room service for room to be cleaned and change sheets.

Very clean. Spacious room. Staff was excellent and very helpful. Breakfast was fresh and appetizing.

Our room was musty smelling. The shower was a bit difficult to work but once you got the water working it was fine. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast had a lot of options.

The room key cards didn’t always work. We had to have it taken to the front multiple times to have it reactivated. The hotel front desk staff were friendly and helpful overall

It was clean and good.

Booked for two nights when moving daughter into KU. After arriving and not being very impressed with the room for the price because of general uncleanliness and smell, we inquired at front desk about if we could get a refund if we cancelled 2nd night. We were told we could ask the manager that would be in in the morning. The next morning we asked the manager and we were told we could get a refund if we check out and they are able to rent the room. We decided to take the gamble as we really weren’t wanting to spend another night in that room and left the keys ant the front desk after our conversation with the manager. I checked the website frequently and never saw our double room available. I emailed inquiring about a refund the next morning as it looked as though they must have rented it and I was told no. They did not clean it or check us out so they were not able to rent it the 2nd night, so no refund. I responded with I checked out and left the keys after the 1st night. The reply from the manager made it sound like it was our decision to leave the keys and they did not check us out so they couldn’t clean or rent our room. We were under the impression that we were checking out and hoping it would get rented since it was a busy weekend and we could get our $175 back. Why would we leave the keys and not want them to clean and try to rent the room? No response after 2nd request for refund as it was not my fault they didn’t even try to rent it. Would not recommend

I liked the serenity of the area. Nice, quiet and restful.

Front desk staff are terrific. The breakfast was much better than expected; waffles, yogurt options, bagel pastry options. The breakfast area was very clean& well maintained. The bathroom had a door & an exhaust fan which is a huge plus for me. I loved the shower- great shower pressure & shower head. Very clean/newer coffee pot, refrigerator & microwave. Beds were very comfortable with newer comfortable bedding and pillows. Only complaint was that the bathroom sink hadn't had a drain cleaning, so awful smell & the water would pool up near the top.

The staff at night is terrible

First, I have to say that all of the staff that we interacted with were wonderful, very helpful and friendly. No issues there. Second, the property was disgusting. The first room that they put us in (318) had signs of bedbugs. The second room (108) was a pet-friendly room and stank of wet dog. There was a hole punched in the bathroom door and black mold in the corner of the shower. Pet hair all over the bed skirts. I wish that I had asked for a refund and let the hotel but after unloading 3 kids and all of our luggage I didn’t feel up to it. We also noticed black mold in the lemon water dispenser. Pool was small and cloudy. Breakfast offerings were good. When we checked out I was informed that the hotel would be renovating in the fall. That doesn’t change that it’s currently a dump with poor cleaning practices. Not worth $150 per night whatsoever. DO NOT recommend, even once updated.

AC didn’t work. Unclean room. Not the friendliest staff. AVOID

While the staff were very friendly and attentive, the property needs some upkeep. The door to our bathroom was difficult to close and open- like it didn’t fit the doorway. We noticed duct tape on a door by the elevators and signage was worn. The front desk staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great. The staff working breakfast was extremely pleasant & friendly as well.

Reason we stayed was for the pool... Pool was closed our first night, so after a long day of travel... Our kid was broken hearted. Also, place is not kept up very well... Wall paper peeling in lobby, stains on hall carpet, cob webs in room... The room was nice and updated.

We picked hotels with pools and breakfast for our multi-day road trip, so the teens were excited about hitting the pool. However, it was immediately clear that the very small pool had zero chlorine in it and the water was murky (and there were about 15 people in it already). The teens has already gotten in by the time I realized. I made them get out, but it was too late; both were sick by the next morning (and the next two days!). I let the desk know that night about the chlorine and the desk clerk told me he didn't know anything about it. The mgr the next day said they only put the chemical in on certain days!!! Yikes. Other than that (which greatly affected our trip, btw), the morning clerk was fabulous, they had a great breakfast that ran til 10AM, and the room was adequate.

This was my last stop on my trip and the 4th hotel room in 8 days, and by far the nicest! The jetted tub was amazing, and we really enjoyed breakfast. Your staff is very friendly and helpful.
