We had a wonderful time at this hotel, from the moment we checked in they were super polite and friendly, very courteous. Miss Karla and Mr. Arnulfo were very accommodating and welcoming. Mr. David at the bell stand super helpful. We experienced their breakfast at the restaurant and was delicious, they had lots of different options and it was a great atmosphere, Marisela and Maria were the best and always very attentive to my 3yo daughter needs❤️ I usually don’t write reviews because I either forget or don’t have time but I really felt compelled because of their outstanding service. Thank you Costa del Sol Tumbes and Cynthia for showing what you do best!

The pool was nice, the bar as well, i had to pay 50 soles for a towel that just needed laundry....stupid. i spill some herbal tea...stupid

On check in desk staff were rude. On arrival to room it was found that the key would not lock the room. Made us wait for almost an hour while maintenance man tried to fix lock. Then made us wait again for someone to clean a different room. In the middle of the night the air conditioning stopped working. When maintenance arrived in the morning they went somewhere and flipped a switch to turn it back on. Apparently they just turned it off. No apologies from anyone for anything. In fact when I asked them to comp a bottle of water I used during the night because the children were suffering they flatly refused. I will never stay here again. I thought Wyndham was a quality hotel but I guess not. I will review further on my YouTube channel. Wyndham should be ashamed to have their name on this facility.

A really nice hotel, especiallyy for Tumbes. It is centrally located, has a parking garage, is attached to a mall, a really nice complementary breakfast, outdoor pool and bar area, and the suites are nice for the price.

Great staff, very attentive and great property. Small issue, quickly solved.

Rooms nice, the counter people not nice we neede to do a 1 pm check out and they wanted to charge us half a day. It was 1 hour.

Este tiene tiene una ma mejor ubicación de la ciudad, al lado del mall. Ideal para poder encontrar de todo en un solo lugar.

No tienen un control adecuado sobre la política de reserva para el uso de la piscina.En recepción me ofrecieron reservar una camioneta de confianza para hacer un traslado. A la hora pactada llamé al contacto que me brindaron y la persona no tenía idea del servicio y que se encontraba fuera de la ciudad. Al conversar con el recepcionista me dijo que la movilidad ya estaba en la esquina, cuando salimos nos dimos con la sorpresa que era un auto, al preguntar cual sería la diferencia tarifaria, puesto que el precio pactado para el traslado era para una camioneta y no un auto, me dijeron que el precio se mantenía. Fue un mal rato, totalmente innecesario. Al final si nos dieron un descuento, pero nosotros que éramos 4 tuvimos que hacer un viaje de más de una hora en un auto, totalmente incomodos.

Comfortable place in an strategic location in Tumbes, next to the main mall of the city

What I liked: it was in the city close to the places I had to go. What I didn´t like: 1. Had to change rooms as the first night was a nightmare with no A/C and the heat was terrible. 2. The bathtub in the first room was dirty, there was green gooey stuff in the metal jacuzzi outlets. 3. Someone came the first night to fix the AC and was not prepared to do it, had no clue, how come a 4 stars hotel does not have someone competent 24 hours to take care of that? 4. I ordered food (room service) and my order was wrong.

There were lizards, housekeeping not cleaning well,dirty curtains, and smell bad like piss

We stayed there for 3 nights. When you enter the hotel lobby and the room, everything appears fine but the issues started. First the air conditioner was a problem. You have to bring set it to 10 degrees Celsius for 10 hours til in gets 24 from 28C. 2nd: poor drainage in bathtub. After you done with your shower you stand in 6 inches of soapy dirty water. We called the front desk a few time and our last evening the finally send one of the maintenance guys. No tools, no nothing. After 5 min he said it’s fixed, well, the next morning we take showers and there’s 6 inches of standing water not draining. 3rd: the bed, the linen smelled like urine. Our complaints fell on deaf ears. The should have changed our room but chose not to. By the way, their towels we wrinkled and ruggedly looking ( see pix)
