Great location & facilities

Overall ok for the price listed in August. Parking was right in front of our unit so it was good. The two queen and single beds were in good condition and the sofa bed was more comfortable than my expectations. There was a self served BBQ facility for grilling crabs if you like. However, I gave 3 stars for cleanliness because I found a few mouse droppings on the ground near the door and kitchen areas although we didn’t see any mouse, so we swept them away.

The room was well stocked with supplies like cooking utensils. The dishes and surfaces in general were clean, as was the BBQ. However, the floor was filthy (including rodent droppings on arrival), and the bathroom had obviously had a leak and had a mouldy floor. The room stank badly enough of mould that we had the leave all windows wide open in order to stay there, which was a bit risky as there was a bear outside. The toilet was loose, which, when reported, was not addressed. It was strange, because although there were lots of amenities - including great laundry facilities, a gym, and a pool - the staff didnt tell us about them nor how to access them, and were quite unfriendly. Definitely would have rated this place higher if the floor hadn't been mouldy and dirty, as this truly overwhelmed the rest of the features.

The young lady who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious, the kitchenette was quite nice, and overall the room provided everything we needed. We had a very comfortable stay in the room and at the motel.

The place was great and affordable, would recommend to get the room with kitchen. The food surrounding the area is a little expensive.

In a nice location. Woke up sore but not sure what else to expect in a 2 star. I’d stay again cause it’s about the nature and location.

This motel is way overpriced, our room was damp and moldy and not clean at all, I’ve lots of pictures of mold, plug sockets melted away, dirt, there’s no closet, I’ve asked for a full refund but after a few messages to management they seem to be ignoring us now, we’d never stay here again or recommend it, $320 a night is a joke, location shouldn’t be a excuse to rip people off, they say they’ll charge $40 extra if you leave dirty dishes but don’t fix there own problems with the room or clean it properly.

The room on the upper floor is spacious, clean and comfortable, including kitchen, etc. The view on the harbor is fantastic. Enough parking space provided.

I liked the property but did notice that the windows had no screens for a liitle security.

The Motel was convenient to the Marina and the kitchen was a good

The West Coast Motel was right up our ally Just the right accommodations that we needed. Our junior suite had a loaded kitchenette. We stayed 4 nights so we brought everything to prepare for our stay. Staff were very friendly and it was the quickest check in I’ve ever had. We even enjoyed the floating bar restaurant right on the dock in our harbour. Very clean unit and area. Thanks West Coast Motel we will be back!

You will hear your neighbor's bathroom at whatever hour they decide to use it. Good location for exploring the west side, up to Tofino. We booked an economy euro room and it was fine for our purposes except the bed was pushed up against wall, not great. Comfort of bed and pillows were just OK. We weren't expecting fridge, microwave, plates, bowls, silverware, cups, glasses, coffee pot and electric kettle, so that was a bonus. During our stay there was road construction 7.30a-5p. Didn't use fitness center.

Have stayed here for years when we do our annual fishing trip. Right by the marina!

We had a 1 bed room with a sofabed for our daughter. A dining table and full kitchen facilities were provided. There was a list on the cupboard of all utensils, etc but not everything was there. This was not a problem for us as we ate out both nights we were there. The staff were very helpful with any queries we had. Some noise carried from neighbours but not enough to inconvenience us.

The property was older but clean. Our room was spacious with two queen beds and a kitchenette. We enjoyed the view of the marina and proximity to restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

It was close to restaurants and had a great pool.

It was a nice place I can recommend this place. But they need to change the shower curtain because everytime we shower the water spash ouside the bath tub. They dont have airconditon but they should provide electricfan in hot weather.Thank you.

Here for a short vacation and fishing trip, nice view of the harbor from our room.

We enjoyed our stay stay here, just off the main road through Ucluelet. It is bare-bones but in the end has everything you need - plus we had a view over the little marina and dock area. The front office staff is particularly friendly and helpful for tips on GREAT nearby restaurants and things to do.

The room was clean with all the basics. The pool was very comfortable. Resturants, shopping and tours all within 10 min walk.

Comfortable and a good space. Easy walk to restaurants, harbour, shops and aquarium. Parking right at your door. Had everything we needed.
