Very hot for all 7 nights of our stay. Impossible without air conditioning that worked great. WiFi little inconsistent that became frustrating. Staff great. Breakfast sufficient. Very tranquil setting with superb view. Using lift with Hotel Cavtat greatly appreciated. Cavtat is real jewel.

we stayed in this apartment on a bed and breakfast basis for 2 nights after arriving at dubrovnik airport. it was a short walk into Cavtat town to look around and it was easy to take a boat to visit Dubrovnik. The apartment itself was spacious, clean and comfortable with great views and was very well equipped.

Found the accommodation to be as described, good location close to centre of Cavtat, Comfortable room with balcony and view of the bay.

I enjoy my experience so much I thinking of going back next year.Hotel a bit basic,u got ur bed bathroom tv what more do you need,For me villa royal blue was really nice,I will stay loyal to them,if u get good service it can turn in to a customer for life.

Nice clean room with a balcony. We had a fridge which was an added bonus. Breakfast was included and a nice selection of food. It was under the flight path of the airport so you sit outside and view the different planes going overhead. The villa was a 10 minute walk into the town of Cavtat.

Staff was fantastic, supernice and friendly. The hotel had a few years on its back, but nothing you can complain about from our point of view. Breakfast was a little thin, but it's a small place and it was good enough. Would have loved to see more local breakfast foods, but I suppose other guests would whine then. :P Overall we were quite pleased and happy!

Easy access to bus station and ocean from this location. One of the receptionists was helpful but the other one was not interested in her role. I recommend booking your airport taxi through the hotels local driver. He was on time and friendly. I have a suspicion I was double charged for the daily tourist tax which is collected by the hotel. 1 Euro per person per day. I had a taxi waiting and didn't wish to argue the point. On principle I will query this with Hotels.com when I return to Australia.

We wanted a room close to Dubrovnik airport because we had a very early flight the following morning. The place was spacious and was located near downtown Cavtat which is a neat little town. I was able to walk to pick up pizzas for dinner since we were exhausted from our 2 week trip. My only complaint was that I requested a wake-up call and there was no followup.

We arrived and were warmly greeted and offered a warm beverage while we were checked in. The staff was so friendly and went out of their way to make it feel homey. Breakfast was wonderful. Our room was clean with fresh linens on the bed. I loved it! My spouse speaks Croatian, but they spoke english with me, which was not necessary, but greatly appreciated. Overall, wonderful experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Villa Royal. The service was the best. I have seldom felt so welcome in a hotel. The breakfast buffet had a lot more variety than I expected.

This is a very nice small hotel. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Nice clean rooms wit air con. Breakfast was thrown in and although basic was a good start to the day. Very well located close to the town and beach areas. Not much over and above room facilities but goo dvalue for the hotel price paid

Room was nothing fancy, but clean and nice with a little balcony. Paid less then half the price of the fancier hotels that my friends stayed at. Rooms where almost better at the Villa Royal but no view. My friends barely had a view in their places!

Room was within 5 minutes walk of waterfront. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Overall a fantastic value for the price.

I booked into this hotel for 2 nights via the internet but was surprised that my room didn't come up to expectations. We were given a room in the eves of the building without a proper window only a skylight but I was told it was the only one available and I didn't pursue. When open, it overhung into the room, overlapping the wardrobe doors and I hit my head quite badly on the first evening The sheets on the bed were not ironed and looked as if they had been in a spin dryer and then left to dry off. It was difficult to tell whether or not they had been changed and they were most uncomfortable and were a mismatched set. The pillows were awful - small and lumpy and the bed creaked at every turn. The mismatched towels in the shower room felt like sandpaper as they were stiff and rough. The shower had a shower head but it didn't have the wall attachment, so couldn't be used in the conventional way. Breakfast was better than I expected for this level of accommodation but they had only one English Breakfast tea bag in the box and they didn't bother to buy any more for the following breakfast. The only options were coffee and fruit teas, non of which I like. The positive of this hotel is that it is a short walk from the restaurants and sea front.

Great location, staff was very friendly, however the breakfast was not very good as t was the same everyday and not up to standard, I would of prefer to pay for just room only and eat breakfast out as it was that bad. The room was not sound proof as stated, so you can hear noise from fellow guests, overall not a bad hotel.

The apartment was really handy to the beach and town. We stayed in one of the larger apartments. It was really clean when we arrived but unfortunately was only cleaned once during the week. We had to ask for fresh towels although staff were happy to give us them. We had a kitchenette but luckily we had not planned to cook as it was not fully equipped. There were plates and bowls but only 2 glasses for 4 of us and absolutely no cutlery. I heard other guests complain that they thought they were in a room with a kitchen but did not have one.Breakfast was typical continental fayre and was fine. Staff were always very helpful and courteous.

Villa Ragusa is conveniently located, close to Dubrovnik airport and local amenities in Cavtat. Rooms are clean and spacious Staff were very pleasant and willing to help out, even dropping us to the airport.

Very good value for money. Within 10 minutes drive of Dubrovnik airport and less than 5 minute stroll into Cavtat centre where you can catch buses or boats into Dubrovnik. The staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful, the room was very comfortable and clean and the breakfast was very good. We had a one bed apartment for 5 which, although we were only staying for one night, would have been more than adequate for our needs in terms of space and comfort had we been staying longer
