Air Conditioner in my room was clanking and emitted very moldy smelling air. Noise from the nearby highway was louder than other reviewers stated. Room was very clean. Cable TV kept rebooting.

The room was very clean, as always. We have family that lives in Belfast and we stay at the Yankee Clipper every time we visit them. The tv did not work in the room this most recent time, but it wasnt really an issue because we were only in the room to sleep.

The Yankee Clipper Motel is superior, we landed there early, no problem, the dogs were no issue, plenty of places for them to walk. The neatness and cleanliness of the room were immediately noticable. The staff are friendly, very busy!

Very accommodating staff, modest but fresh feel to the rooms..comfortable beds, park right at your door so easy to load unload…not much ambiance around the property but if you need a great reasonably priced place to lay your head and plan to go out sightseeing all day or just an overnight en route to somewhere this is a great option. Close drive to many restaurants, shops etc.

There are a few things that I would like in addition to what is already there for a perfect stay....dehumidification, grab bar inside tub, towel bars on wall in bathroom, and a better in-room coffee making system. Otherwise, this is the absolute perfect place to stay. It is slightly less expensive because there is no fabulous lounge or pool, but it is convenient walking distance to everything in Belfast Harbor, has the most comfortable mattress and bedding, fantastic water pressure, wonderful kitchenette with microwave, outstanding refrigerator, and kitchenette shelves. Plenty of room inside the room, chairs, desk, TV with great channels, and nice places to sit outside the room. We have stayed there with our dog before and it was super comfortable for him and us. So nice! When any of my family visits Belfast, we stay at the Yankee Clipper Motel because it is so good!!!

Very clean property and room. Rooms recently renovated. Helpful staff. Only thing that I didn’t like was fact that this was only hotel out of 6 that charged for kids.

We enjoyed stay the night. The staff was kind and helpful. Our A/C unit had a rattle in it but we were able to sleep.

Great place to stay on a budget. The footbridge to downtown is not too far from the motel. The rooms are clean, and the service is friendly.

Belfast is such a quaint town. This hotel stay was perfect for us. Nothing fancy, but clean and updated and our car was just right out the door. Would stay here again.

Convenient location . Room was very nice, bed comfortable. Did not read the fine print about it being a pet friendly motel. I have a significant dog allergy and woke up 2 am congested and coughing . If I did not have allergies I would stay here again.

This is an old-fashioned, park your car at your door motel, a real throwback. But inside it's modern, recently renovated, and immaculately clean. Nothing fancy, but everything you need, and very convenient to downtown Belfast. (Not walkable, since you have to cross the big bridge, but only a mile from town.) HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
