The room was in ill repair and dirty.

This is such a quaint place. We had a great stay. Close enough to Denali but away from the crowds. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It was a good property

This hotel is fine if you’re just looking for a place to sleep. But for the price it was disappointing. The staff was friendly, but the rooms were outdated and the shower curtain could use a good cleaning. The pillows were covered in a plastic pillowcase that was hot and very noisy anytime we moved. We were told the wifi may be spotty, but it was nonexistent. We stayed at other places in the area for less money and had a much better experience.

The phone number for this hotel when dialled from expedia booking went to Grand Denali which is a different hotel. Then I looked up hotel number from google but the phone won’t go through. On the website they mention you need to check in by 8 pm. As I could not reach them by phone after repeated attempts, I drove non stop from Anchorage to reach by 8 pm only to learn that info is incorrect. Please make sure your phone lines are up and the information on your website is accurate. Otherwise hotel facilities were good.

Awesome staff, great room, beautiful property! The only minor disappointment was they didn't have snacks out like in the photos. Coffee was good, though. Would stay again!

Older hotel but clean and quiet. Beds were comfy and shower had plenty of hot water. Would stay again.

Our bathroom was not cleaned. When we arrived. Went to the office to let them know that they said they would have somebody just cake and take care of that. Nobody showed up went back there again the second day when we got back from doing our things for the day, nobody came to clean our bathroom, when we checked out on our third day talk to the management and there were no reasons why. We would not recommend this place.

Great restaurant, black Diamond, nearby.

The room was large, but the bathroom was small. I liked having the sink not in the toilet/shower room. The furniture was not new, but the bed was comfortable and we slept well. There is a restaurant down the side road that the hotel entrance is on that we liked a lot. Overall a good stay and good value. I would go back.

I gave this three stars because it was clean. When I turned on the shower the water was brown. I had to let it run for 20 minutes until it cleared. That was pretty gross. In fairness, the clerk called a plumber but it cleared on its own. We asked to change rooms but there were no other rooms available. Towels were just ok…would not use them in my house. Apparently, there is a new owner so maybe the new owner will change things.

Convenient to Denali. Room small but comfortable. Mini coffee pot in room. Sink outside of shower room. Some rust in shower and bottom of curtain. Office doesn’t open until 8am but they have coffee in the lobby. Small microwave and refrigerator with ice area. Beds comfy.

Motel is very basic. It suited our needs as a place to sleep after spending the full day out. Incredibility frustrating process through Expedia though. In short, it was advertised a "fully refundable." I tried to cancel one of the nights of our reservation which apparently I couldn't do - I could cancel the full reservation but not just part of it. I called Expedia. Expedia says they called the property and assured me they spoke with the property and there was a note on our reservation at the property that we'd need one less night and that would be taken care of at check-in. At check in they told me there was nothing they could do and I'd need to work with Expedia to get a refund (and that it was passed the refund date so I probably wouldn't have any luck). A good reminder to not book through Expedia and a frustrating result that left and overall negative feeling.

Super rude staff and they definitely don’t care for customer service. The manager especially is aggressive, unprofessional and a racist.

Staff was very welcoming and friendly.

The Denali Park Hotel is not a Hotel but a Motel that has your door 2 feet from the gravel parking lot. The lobby picture they show is not really like that!

Our room was clean and comfortable, had its own private bathroom, and 10 miles from the entrance to Denali National Park. So it was adequate and convenient for our needs. It provides very basic accommodations, no breakfast or dining on the grounds, but restaurants and a small grocery a few miles away. When we arrived we were a little concerned about the look from outside -- the office is in a converted Alaskan train car, the buildings are modular, and the driveway is gravel not paved. But it was perfectly adequate for our basic needs of a good place to sleep.

Friendly staff. Property is as advertised . Our only issue was the size of the bathroom and the height of the toilet.Difficult to use if you have a disability. Otherwise a fine location and value for the dollar.

The room was what we expected for the price. The surrounding area is quiet & a short drive to Denali.

It was great for a 1 night stay. A little dated, but very clean and all you needed. Good for 4 older adults! And it withstood some pretty mighty winds that night. Great service from very nice people!

From the first glance you may think what is this place with the train cars all around. The place is old but the rooms are clean. The bathroom had a leaning floor so you felt like you were going to fall all the time. The staff was courteous. Dont try walking into town it is all up hill back. I would stay here again.

Great place to stay!

Convenient location, it’s only fifteen minutes driving from Denali national park. Parking is just outside of the room door. Bed is comfortable. Room is small, especially bathroom is really tiny. Sink is not in the bathroom.

This is a motel tye facility. It was average. It served its purpose. Rooms were large. Had all I needed. Unique motel rhst it looked lije manufactured homes. Location was fine. About 10 miles from the park.

It is a rural setting about ten miles from Denali and very reasonable. We did hire a shuttle to take us from the train station.

They need to at least take out the trash from room regularly, which they didn’t do, probably due to lack of staff. I had to go find where housekeeping was, cleaning other rooms, to hand over my trash to them and ask for a new coffee packet daily (only 1 in room if regular coffee at check in for 5 nights). Housekeeping was excellent in their helpful attitude but looked overworked. I Did not get receipt at end of stay in spite of asking and was told to get it from Orbitz, who said hotel should have given it as they were paid directly! Orbitz is working on getting me a receipt. thank you
