The resort is just the right mix. Lovely accomodation, positioned in a beautiful setting, and very friendly staff that go above to help you.
Also, no children is a bonus to ensure rest and relaxation.

The property and staff are fantastic. This is an adult only property and when we went there, it seemed like the majority of the guests were 65 and over. Mostly people from Europe when we stayed there. This is a property if you want peace and relaxation without a lot of noise. If you would like a younger crowd, this property might not be your choice.

Going here, you probably want to spend time on a sun chair by the beach. Forget it unless you are prepared to walk down to the chairs st 07:30. Even if they have a no-reserving-policy, people put their towels an some dum item pretending they are around. Get MORE sun chairs! The personell in charge don’t dare to remove the reservings.
To many people in the the same location. Unless you are a german/swedish charter tourist that enjoy noisy and crowded all-inclusive buffets…avoid this hotel.

beautiful location, also close to town within walking distance, very good aqua fitness classes, great beaches near by,calm water, restaurnts just ok at dinner time alot of people go out to other restaurants, many many stairs beware!!! asked to change room bad kneew but no response, front desk staff tried but if they didn't know the answer would walk away and serve someone else, beware pool turns hair and clothing green. have been aware of this for two weeks but done nothing to fix it

We had a wonderful stay here! We were upgraded to an oceanfront room that was fabulous! The room had a wonderful patio with table chairs, two lounge chairs with umbrella and literally steps to the beautiful uncrowded sandy warm water beach! The property is beautifully landscaped and clean. The pools are wonderful. The staff is friendly. The food was great, offering both local Thai food as well as many other options. Very peaceful and relaxing! Wonderful place!

We had a lovely bungalow near pond, it was very clean spacious bed was very comfy. Clean pool towels delivered every evening. Area was quiet and well kept.

They didn't have a standard ground floor room available (as I had requested), so kindly upgraded us to a pool access room and provided us with easy access steps to facilitate pool access

Reception and Service Staffs are excellent. We've got upgraded to a bungalow on our 2nd day due to a broken mirror in our standard room. The staffs were very helpful and courteous.

The best qualities of this resort are its staff. Attentive, professional and engaging staff who did their utmost to practice their English and ensure their customers were content. Rooms were very clean and welcoming with daily servicing. The clientele were mainly Europeans. The breakfast buffet was a highlight on arrival and we were spoilt with an upgrade to a spacious beach bungalow for our wedding anniversary. Few steps to negotiate for older clients. Lovely sandy beach and fitness options in hotel and pool aerobics daily. 4 pools all beautifully maintained. A well organised transport/taxi service to take you to the many surrounding markets, waterfalls, beaches and National parks. We will definitely be back!

We had a grand deluxe room in the mountain wing. The room was very nicely fitted out, clean and comfortable. Ensuit had all you needed and a lovely shower. Our balcony looked out to see through the tree line and was private and quiet. Breakfast was what you would expect with a variety of food options. From 7am to 10am we tried all times but never found a quiet time. The hotels location is a short walk to all the shops and eateries which is handy. However although nothing tangeable the grounds, pools and beach were not for us. It all seemed a little tight. So we used our room had breakfast then headed out on a sooter everyday. That we really enjoyed.

Beautiful location- fab hotel right on the beach - had a room quite high up, which was lovely, but paid extra for a beach bungalow which was well worth the extra. Staff super friendly - perfect location - had a hire car and went to different beaches, including White Sands, but they weren’t as nice as the beach at this hotel. Could walk for miles up the coast. Would consider coming here again. Top marks for this hotel .

We had a lovely stay at the Sensimar Khoalak Beachfront. The car service was waiting for us at Phuket and took us straight there. The Staff was great, the food was great and the location perfect for beach walks, swimming or heading to town.

This resort is fantastic. We booked an extra few nights on top of a deal. All the staff are so friendly and are always smiling. The many swimming pools are a great place to cool off. Great selection at breakfast, could chose something different each day if we wanted. This is our second stay at this resort and would definitely stay again

Such an amazing resort!We stayed in one of the beach side bungalows and could not be more pleased with the stunning location and perfect experience we had.I'll be going back there again for sure..... Highly recommended.

Best part of the Khaolak Beach at Sensimar / natural sun protection because of shadow-spending trees, no umbrellas necessary / staff is very friendly and motivated / here you can really find your silence for a relaxation.
Something disturbing are the 2 rows with the beach chairs on the beach - it gives the impression of the package tourism. A staggered arrangement would reduce this effect. High season for breakfast is from 07.00 - 09.30 AM. To start the day relaxed and in silence, we recommend the period between 10.00 and 11.00 AM - there is always a particularly nice table, which is free and at the buffet there's no rush - the noises are much lower.

We have stayed in 4 hotels in Khao Lak and for us the Sensimar was the best. It was clean and comfortable. The rooms were spacious with good storage and a full sized fridge. The shower and toilet were separate. The bed was huge and pretty comfortable. The a/c was brilliant.
We went for half board as the deal was so good through hotels.com. The food was amazing. A great variety of foods for all tastes.
The staff never stop smiling. They take a real interest in the guests.
I would recommend this hotel.

We had a Very Nice stay at sensimar, the hotel is Very Nice and clean. The hotel staff are friendly and always happy to help. Very quiet and a place to relax.

Wonderful break from two weeks of travel. We stayed here to recover from a week and a half of on the go sightseeing and it was perfect. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean and they give that extra touch of service to make it 5 stars

I have booked this hotel because it offered airport suttle. However when I landed I found out that there was a charge to get the suttle service. I ended up spending extra $100 on transportation between airport and hotel and back. Felted cheated but had no choice but had to spend the $ to get there.
