We did take the time to watch the video about the hotels founder. Thought it was great that he had those views. But feel that this hotel was not living up to that. The bed itself was fine, but the frame with the fake leather was torn in several areas, probably due to luggage carts (since our room was a king the bed could have been center on the wall more towards the windows and that would have left more space for carts). The pillows were not great. The carpet in our room was separating where it was seamed. The windows were filthy, I realize there was construction going on across the street, but my ranch does not have that dirty of windows. We drive a Chevy 4500 HD dually when traveling, I called ahead about parking and was assured we would fit in the secured parking. We did not. So, our truck stayed in the unloading area of the hotel for the night. We still got charged for parking. Dinner in the restaurant was so so. Nothing blew us away. The steak tartar was fine, and we both had the filets for dinner, and they were cooked accordingly Blue and Rare. But mine (Blue) was very grisly around the meat, his was tender as would be expected from an aged steak but really nothing write home about. The potatoes were blah. The table next to us had the Halibut and I am glad I did not order it as it STUNK. I had to put my hand over my nose until he finished it as it smelled bad. I have never had halibut that smelled like that before. Waiter was good. Long way from saying it was bst hotel

It was convenient to Century ii perorming arts and convention center. Also, walkable to old town.

We stayed here for a concert and the property was very convenient to everything we needed. There were restaurants and shopping nearby. We absolutely loved the speakeasy bar! Our room was very clean and beds were comfortable! We will stay again when we are in Wichita.

Great place. Very pleasant staff and high end furnishings with nice amenities. Basement speakeasy is very cool and a must visit. Only real downside was the street noise which is constant every night until 2 AM. Will definitely go back, but with earplugs.

Very good location! Love the decor and the size of the room, it was huge. Beds felt worn, it was a slope to one side. Mini fridge not cold. Windows very thin, it’s loud if you have a room towards S Broadway. Great staff!

Easy, helpful and very nice

Originally I had booked 2 rooms unfortunately my plans changed so I missed out on my stay but the other room booked was for my family and they enjoyed it and were pleasantly pleased with their stay. The staff was quite friendly, helpful & accommodating!

Great place to stay. I promise the revving car and bike engines will stop a little later in the night and it will be the quietest downtown you’ve ever stayed in.

After a bad experience with another local hotel, we changed to the Ambassador and were thrilled on all levels. Upon arrival, the staff were so welcoming and made our transition to their hotel seamless! The room was great…light-filled, roomy, clean, and most comfy. We can’t say enough good things about this property!

Second time staying here. And it was amazing. Hotel and restaurant staff are so kind and pleasant. Treat you like royalty. Restaurant food is just delicious! Clean and very well kept. Noise outside at night (cars racing) early on, annoying. But doesn’t last long. Drivers, housekeeping all so friendly as well! Great experience!!

Hotel was great in every way except one…traffic noise in the room was really bad.

This was probably my favorite hotel ever!

It was hard to sleep for all the car and motorcycle noise outside. The parking ramp and streets outside the hotel just didn't feel family friendly. Several homeless people were sleeping outside against your hotel in front and in the back ally.

The Ambassador was clean ,lobby not impresdive, last day no cold water in shower. Having no inclusive bkfst was inconvenient,parking rates $18 was reasonable. Area seemed unsafe as i went to walk at 7.00pm and a a homelss followed me. Staff was pleasant and courteous. The safe stopped working next day . Refrigerator full of stuff to purchsse and no room to keep

The key card machine wasn't working so security had to let me into my room each time. The area around the hotel is super sketchy and noisy.

I only stayed on night but the staff were incredible. I do not know her name but she has long curly blonde, I believe, hair. She is thin and has long nails, can't text without them :). She was the best host I have been around. She was accommodating, polite, funny, and helpful. If she was in Kansas City, I would hire her. When I am back in Wichita, I will definitely stay at the Ambassador again. Kudos to your team.

The staff was so nice and helpful. I would recommend this to everyone and will stay here every time we go to Wichita.

I come to Wichita every year for a conference and it was the nicest hotel I have stay at by far. Within walking distance to convention center. My 4 door dually would not fit in the parking garage and the staff was great about finding me a parking spot that was easy to get my truck in and out of.

It was a nice hotel and loved the mini bar.

Senina breakfast excellent. Room safe was not working. The refrig should be bigger to have larger togo items. No microwave like other hotels.
