It was nice, altho it advertised a hot tub and Pool, but it was closed. Good hotel, great price, but we were having a girls wknd & wanted to have a hot tub. We’re a go out on the town kind girls. The room was clean & friendly staff

I had booked three rooms. Two of them were not vacuumed before we arrived. Food, garbage, toenail clippings, and a pill on the floor. We had a room beside a person with a dog. The dog barked constantly for over four hours before the front staff could reach the guest to come back for the dog to settle. The hotel said there was nothing they can do to refund us part of our money due to the massive inconvenience, even though they assigned that room to a guest with a pet. There is nothing on the website that said that the pool was shut down. We were ready to go swimming at night and walked into the pool room under construction. There was no signs anywhere saying it was closed. There was nothing on the website saying they didn’t clean rooms daily. Our garbage was never taken out and we were never given fresh towels even after we asked for more at the front desk. What services did our money pay for? We will not return to this property

Ok place to sleep in Minot. Nice deep tub, but sink was slow to drain like a clog and missing the stopper. AC unit had no controls for the ac/heat no controls on the wall and the ones on the unit did not function.

We stayed 3 nights here and moment we checked in I knew the smell was going to be an issue, by Monday morning I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. All you smell is cat pee, It’s bad, I’m not sure how they would go about even fixing a problem as severe as cat pee throughout an entire building. It’s a decent property, but of course who you have representing the property plays a huge part. The gal who checked us in “Diaonna” or something seen us drive up, get out, walk into the building and didn’t even bother to get out to vehicle she was sitting in right outside the front double doors. My husband had to call the number on the little sign at the front desk that is out 24/7. When he called we watched her get out of the parked car and come into the lobby and she began checking us in. She was nice and answered all the normal questions I had but after she followed us out and went right back into the passenger side of the car. As we were bringing out belongs in there was at least 3 other families waiting to get checked in and they looked annoyed no one was around to check them in. The crazy thing is everyone had to walk directly in front of the car she was sitting in to get into the lobby so she was fully aware all these people came in and wasn’t bothered. She was going to wait until she was called out before she came in. I only gave 3 stars because maintenance Dave saved our TV and was nice and fast at his job. Cleaning should take precedence in a beautiful property as this.

Out of all of the hotels I've spent the night in my life, that is easily the second or third. Most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on! I have no complaints about this day, the room was clean and cozy and the staff was more than adequate. Would have no problem staying here again.

When we arrived they stated the pool has been closed for a year!!! It does not state this on their website or on Expedia. We cancelled and booked elsewhere.

Upon entrance lobby was clean. Reception seemed to be bothered by my presence. Not very friendly or informative, ie breakfast times and location, pool services, room location. Hall way had a musty or stale smell. Upon entering room, it looked clean. Definitely had some wear and tear (paint chipping and holes in the wall, toilet paper holder was falling off the wall, bathroom wall tile was dirty). The beds were comfortable! Upon check out staff was not friendly at all. No thank you or how was your stay! I was looking for a good deal when I booked this room, but I would likely not return. You get what you pay for!

Staff did not respond to questions or requests for service. Television did not work properly in one of the rooms. Furniture missing from one room. We willl not be staying at this location in the future.

No shower curtain when I got one they made me install it just a bad experience

Points for clean and modern, amazing hot breakfast. Unfortunately maintenance is not being kept up, and marred our trip. Hot tub and pool "under maintenance" (no one working in the 3 days we were there) so not available. Room had a hole in the wall from a dog? trying to get out. Toilet seat not even fastened down, so we bought our own bolts and fixed it ourselves. Furniture falling apart and the nails sticking out left deep scratches in my arm. Air conditioner functional but sounded like a helicopter was in the room every time it ran. Too bad to spoil your business this way. We will not be back.

Upon check in I was charged for my room and a service fee. I had already paid. I asked the manager and staff to refund my credit card. After 3 days of waiting, no refund. Don’t know how u will get my money . Said they had no idea how to refund a Mastercard. No problem charging it. Room was dirty . Found a bone under the bed. Bathroom wall was crumbling. Overall the worst experience. No help . No refund, no clean room.

Checked in; pool area closed for the weekend of our stay. That was a large reason for choosing this property. Arrived to our room to find urine in the toilet. Bathroom wall falling apart, likely harbouring germs. Hallway carpet incredibly dirty and stained; room carpet cleaner but stained as well. Bedskirt stains. Staffing was barebones, and that is likely generous. No one at the front desk that majority of the time; when calling the main phone number to reach them, phone went unanswered. Needed fresh towels during our stay; no housekeeping visit while we were there. No one answering phones. I had to go track down a housekeeping cart on another floor to get them. Website pics are not representative of the actual property; if they are…..they are VERY good pics. Would definitely not stay here again.

No comforter. Room wasn’t vacuumed. Housekeeper was rude.

First of all, the trash can by the entry doors was heaping full and trash trash was around the can on the ground. We walked into the lobby and the first thing we noticed was the horrific smell. We checked in and started to our room. We went to the elevators and they had many boxes of cleaning agents right in front of the elevator. It still smelled so bad, we looked around the corner and there were multiple bags of stinky trash lying on the floor in front of the can. The tiles were broken in the elevator. So much as when you step on the tile it actually moves. Hazard!!! We exited the elevator to the same awful smell and the carpet in the hallway was absolutely gross. It was ripped and with multiple stains. The only reason I gave 2 stars was the room was decent at best and the shower was hot.

I always sleep sooo good. The check in process might a little tough but it's definitely worth it man. I never want to leave lol ..it's just a comfortable place n it feels like home. The tvs work the air is fine n the tubs r nice n big and the space is better then the more expensive hotels where you squeeze in just to go pee. The staff is great. N they're really helpful. It's just welcoming n in this country? That's a plus.

Cleanliness of the room and common areas was excellent, staff were friendly, and breakfast was pretty decent for a continental. As for the room itself, the bed was uncomfortable - mattress needs replacement as it was sagging in middle. Air conditioning would not work unless it was on full blast it would shut off after a minute or so

Clean , comfy and reasonably priced

Liked the staff who were working there. However the hotel needs to be completely remolded. Chairs were broken, toliet barely worked, tv took 13 remotes to get it to work then it wouldnt work again. Owner wake up and help your employees or shut down your hotel.

Dirty carpet, hot tub and pool was out of order, TV old and picture faded. Beds are nice.

Good staff but dirty hotel

Never book this hotel. They advertise that we have pool and hot tub but when we checked in then they said it is not working . Asked for a refund and they said we can issue a refund . Will never ever come back in this hotel nor recommend any one to go there. Thank you .

I'm not going to lie, I am very disappointed in this hotel. We were looking forward to a pool and hot tub just to find out that they were out of order. The whole place freaked of pot smoke, none of the ice and vending machines worked. The room had mold on the tub walls, also mold in the ice bucket. And the lady at the counter when we were checking out was very rude.

Upon entering the doors were creaking.The staff at the desk was not very professional. Could barely hear him speak. Once we entered the elevator there was a large chunk broken and absent from the floor tile. The hallway carpet was stained and filthy. Our studio room was spacious, but the cupboard faces were fingerprinted, and nothing was provided in the cupboards but 2 mugs. The sofa was filthy and cushion torn. Could not get reception or proper programs on either TV'S. Beds were comfortable and air conditioning acceptable. Continental breakfast was poor at best. Very little choice and cleaniless was also questionable. Overall we were very disappointed in the condition of the hotel and hospitality of Baymont by Wynham in Minot, North Dakota on this weekend August 2, 3,and 4th, 2024. As we previously stayed at this hotel 3 times prior, we will not ever be returning.

When we went to check in no one was at the front desk. We had to wait for 10min for someone to showup. Then the pool was closed (by the note on the desk i would say they dont open it ever. Would have been nice to know when booking as we promised our son a swim). Room conditions were bad. It was not clean. Mold in bathroom. Carpet felt damp and smelled musty. Dirty marks and lack of cleaning everywhere. Had i been able to get our money back we would not have stayed. For a newer hotel it is kept very unclean.
