Great mini break. We enjoyed the hospitality and the location was great, we walked everywhere as we did not have a car.

This was a wonderful experience. Staff walked us to our room and helped us with our luggage. Above and beyond! Also recommended a great place for dinner.

Great place for a group getaway... plenty of outdoor space to gather. Also great for a solo or couple. Close to the village and to the seaport. Lots to do and see.

This was my first visit to The Taber Inne and Suites and I hope to return soon. It is a beautiful inn, run splendidly, with many amenities for guests. It felt like the echo of another era - where service, grace and friendliness were priorities. From check-in to check-out, it was an amazing, too brief, stay. My room was large with a canopy bed, a jacuzzi in the bathroom, and walk-in shower. I was able to make use of the lovely indoor pool twice. Across the street is the Mystic Market, certainly one of the best of its kind, with homemade dishes and great coffee, and I had both lunch and dinner there, but The Taber Inne also offers a continental breakfast delivered to your door. You are also within walking distance of the beautiful Williams Beach and the Mystic Seaport area. I loved my stay here and wish to commend the wonderful owners for having such a welcome and splendid place to offer their guests.

The staff at check-in was extremely friendly and helpful! Led us to our room, explained all their services, and used a local map to point out places to eat. They showed that the older style of motel may be the wave of the future.

Nice inn with a good location. Walkable distance to the main areas of town and museums. Room was pretty good. No refrigerator or safe.. but there was a jacuzzi tub! Continental breakfast was a little sparse. Just coffee, fruit,and cake. No breads or other drink options. (But I never bothered to ask for something else)

The property was minutes from downtown Mystic and a few miles from the Seaport and Aquarium. About 10 miles to the beach. A perfect spot to enjoy the area. The rooms were clean and smelled nice. Breakfast was individually served to enjoy in your room or outside. Loved this option. Staff was so friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Looks closer to the ocean on the website then in reality. Close to town, bed was comfortable and room clean. No shower curtain- which was odd. Delivered breakfast was nothing special and I would pass next time.

This is one of the nicest places we have stayed. Staff/owner is extremely friendly and helpful. It’s a very pleasant, peaceful setting and comfortable. Room is spacious and very clean. As many have mentioned before a mini fridge would be the only thing we missed but had our cooler and could get plenty of ice so we managed Highly recommend this Inn!

Tabor Inn is a great place to stay while visiting Mystic, Ct and surrounding areas. We found it to be centrally located to all the places we intended to visit. We enjoyed the jacuzzi tub as well as the indoor swimming pool. We are planning a return in the fall.

A very good place to stay especially for couples. Cons: no exercise equipment, very few water fountains, TV has very few channels. Pros: great outdoor area, nice indoor pool, great service with breakfast to your door and Jacuzzi in room. Nice proxiyto mystic tourists spots. Very friendly, would stay here again

Stay of one night. Paul at front desk was very nice and helpful with restaurant recommendations. Location not conducive to walking. Need to drive to restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. Had to be on the road prior to the 8am breakfast service so cannot comment on that. While the room was very clean, the bed was that of the taco variety and did not provide a very good night’s sleep.

We stayed for one weekend at the end of July and were thoroughly impressed with not only the property and its maintenance but the room cleanliness, as well. The only thing missing was a mini fridge in the room. If staying one night, it may not be that big of a deal but for more than a one night stay it was definitely needed. We absolutely loved the secluded back porch off of our room where we could sit in the morning with our complementary tea, fruit and pastries. The room looked freshly painted and was extremely spacious. The property is just under a mile from the drawbridge at the beginning of downtown Mystic and a very easy walk. Across the street is the Mystic Marketplace, which has amazing hot and cold food options. You can eat there or take food to go. The indoor pool was huge and the cleanest I’ve ever seen. We loved everything about the Taber Inn and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay close to all of the Mystic attractions.

The room was ok but the decor is a little dated and not to our liking and we were not the most comfortable there as a family of 4. The bathroom blind didn’t work well and no obscure glasses never felt totally private having a shower after dark so had one with the lights off. The grounds of the hotel were nice and location was ok with only a 20 minute walk into town. The guy on reception was very helpful and friendly. We didn’t use the pool so can’t comment on that.

A great find! Loved the property and the area. The innkeepers were so focused on the customer experience even before we arrived and certainly once we checked in. We've already told friends about it and will return ourselves, too. The location is perfect for a walk into town/restaurants. And when you come back to the Inne, it is really pretty, tranquil and relaxing. The room was comfortable, clean, roomy, and quaint. Breakfast was good and delivered super-fast to our room. Staying at the Taber Inne & Suites is a bit like travelling back in time... I was recommended a more centrally located hotel in Mystic, but opted for this location a bit more in the outskirts of the town. Very peaceful, good parking, easy to locate and a very short walk into the center! There is a small coffe shop (Nana's) very close by and a few small eating spots (more downtown). Parking was outside my room (no 15) and reception a few doors down. Spacious, great wifi, ok bathroom, door to back porch. If any downside; the table is not really suitable as a workstation, but fine for the breakfast. (Which consists of muffins, very fresh fruit!! and coffee and is brought to your door). It is a snack more than a proper breakfast.. just to note. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend! The price was a bit on the high side, but it is summer and Mystic is popurlar....
