Great location…clean and modern. Disappointing that our in room spa didn’t match the website photos. Also, the room, described as spacious, was very cramped. We planned to stay four nights, but left after one. Didn’t match up to its claims.

Whilst checking in you could notice that this was a well run hotel. Everything was very clean and tidy. This was reflected through out our stay. The staff were polite and helpful. The location is right in heart of the city and I would recommend anyone to this hotel.

It was a great hotel. Location amazing, perfect size, parking at the back for a really decent price. Service outstanding. Even the breakfast was great. Loved loved loved hotel barrameda. And sanlucar is of course amazing and easy to explore and enjoy from this hotel. Would recommend without reservations.

Great little hotel in the centre of Sanlúcar. Would book again.

It was a great hotel in a fantastic central location. It is close to several great restaurants, bars and cafes and several shops. It has a fantastic terrace with great views and is also close to sights of interest and not far from the bus station and beach area.

We stayed here in October 2017 and were not disappointed when we arrived for our second stay. The property has an excellent location and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast offering is good and you can enjoy this outside. Staff are polite and helpful. The only negative is that we had very poor WiFi connection during our stay.

Central position in the square so easy access & safe for families with children. Manager Miguel estupendo! Changed a room so we could be with our young grand-daughter on the same floor. Thanks.Breakfast was fresh with a good selection but book in advance. This was our 2nd stay here. Easy stroll to the estuary & to the castle.

Came to Sanlúcar on business and couldn’t be happier with the hotel. They were very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend upgrading to a junior suite if you can. The view onto the plaza is fantastic. The desk clerks were very helpful in finding good places to eat nearby. The location is great. All the main attractions are in walking distance. The Castillo de Santiago is a fun diversion if you have some time to kill.

We had only visited Sanlucar de Barrameda once before and very briefly. We chose the Hotel Barrameda for its central location and for its ‘boutique’ feel. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. With great weather so early in March we were able to walk miles along the beach. We visited the Castle and had, probably, the best aural commentary, by phone, we have ever had. It brings the life of the castle and the town to life. Another highlight was our visit to the Gitana winery. Here a lovely lady was great in explaining the wine making process for sherry, with associated tastings. We will be very happy to return to this lovely little town.

We loved the view from our room over the pretty pedestrianised square, and being close to really excellent restaurants. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Not easy to find but the hotels direction were very good.

Convenient for the bars and restaurants in the square. Comfortable room and good breakfast. Good location for taking the boat trip on Real Fernando to the Donana park. Car parking OK - fortunately we had booked beforehand by email and were given clear instructions to find it - satnav invaluable for the one way system and narrow streets!

This hotel is situated on the main plaza which is a pedestrian only zone. We had a hire car and the hotel staff were very helpful about pre-booking a place in their private garage about three minutes walk away. We stayed two nights in this excellent hotel in order to explore the town and to visit the Donana nature reserve. That visit was a bit disappointing but the two hours spent exploring the castle not far from he hotel were very worthwhile.

It was never made clear that the hotel does breakfast for the price and when I finally found this out on my final morning, it looked really nice. So be sure to check what youre getting.

The hotel is situated on the main square convenient for many good places to eat, the market and several bodegas (notably Hidalgo - well worth a visit). Sanlucar is easily walkable though there are a few hills at the back

Pleasant staff, multitasking, decent rooms, perfectly clean and extremely welcoming, Excellent service for your money. Decent breakfast, although for one week the same items were served. However, the excellent coffee made up to it.

Everything about the hotel was excellent;Room cleanliness, furniture, bathroom were all top notch. The rate was inexpensive (by Canadian standards) and the buffet breakfast (recommend you include it) was exteThe location excellent and difficult, depending on perspective. It was in the centre of a pedestrian mall with lots of shops and restaurants. However it meant you couldn't drive directly to the hotel and after several abortive attempts to find it we almost gave up - we don't speak the language and were only saved by a Spanish lady who got into the car and acted as navigator. We were forced to park our car on a street several blocks away and drag our cases from there. The other concern was that many of the restaurants only serve tapas - mainly small servings of fish (much of it raw) - not to our taste. We had to settle for dessert cafe; apple tart and ice cream.Recommendation: Travel light; eat before you drive to the hotel; be conversant in Spanish; include breakfast in your booking.

This is our second visit to Sanlucar de Barrameda, but first time to this particular hotel. We were very impressed as this is a two star hotel which we think should be 3 star plus. We had a room on the ground floor for three persons which was very roomy. There are two rooms on the ground floor at the back of the hotel so very quiete if there is a festival on which there was!!!! Breakfast was very good, with cereal, yogurt, cheese ham, fruit salad, cakes and toast etc. There is a roof top viewing point which is fantastic if you want to view the festival parades and having a prime location. There are sun loungers for the warmer weather which will be very welcoming. There is a small bar, serving alcohol and coffees which we didn't use. The staff were very friendly and always polite and welcoming. We will definitely rebook for the summer months.
