The service was very good, the staff was able to accommodate every request and was very nice and friendly.

Had very large room with fantastic view of sea. Hotel grounds are excellent. Standard of room good but could do with some work to repair the leak from the bathroom which is causing damage to wall in bedroom. If going at xmas be warned about gala dinner cost which we were not pre advised about. Seemed strange that hotel guests had to pay 3500r each while outsiders got the dinner for 1500r!!

It was a nice stay for a few nights. There's nothing really much to do around manderem beach. But there's a few shacks. Social houze was really fun, the staff there was great, very friendly and inviting, as well as the food is amazing! Esp the chicken momo's. There's also a place called coco loco which was fun for dancing.

The location of this hotel is perfect for the beach. Mandrem beach shack serves some of the best food in goa. Breakfast in the hotel is very basic but ok. The pool that has recently been put in was undergoing maintenance work so was only able to use it for 2 days out of our 5 day stay. There is also other ongoing building works so there is some noise disturbance all day. However, easy to escape by going over the bridge to the beach.

the free wifi that is promised, or stated in features is not there. it is difficult to get at the rooms

excellent location, wonderful ambiance,well planned and constructed good service, the only problem with the place was the rooms were not maintained well. as in the ac the door knobs switches were all faulty. other than that it was peace and serinity all over the place.

I stayed for a week at the place and Ive many to mention !First, the room is totally unlike the pictures in their site or Expedias.Its small, smelly, there was a leak on the top of the shower ruining the roof but nobody cared, I had to mention five times that a due date message was masking the tv half of the time. TV was fixed only after I yelled about ( was deactivated from day before .... )Second the breakfast is the worst ever !!! No fresh fruit juice, fruit salad is made with bad fruits, no pancakes or croissant but only 3 kind of omelettes !!! A nightmare !Dinner was acceptable but poor choice and not possible to pay it on the room bill.Third the staff is really nice but totally inaccurate. The lack of skills is a real problem. Without coming into details of my personn life, I can tell you that its really obvious at all al level and jobs !The place could be a really nice stay, location is really a spot and with a little refreshment of buildings and attention to details it could be something. But as it is its just too expensive for a poor service and room. Do not fit expectations for a place like it wants to be !

However, we just did not want to leave the resort and go sightseeing or partying out. The beach opposite to the resort is heavenly. The in house DJ was good. Very courteous staff including the security man and of course the well trained dogs. Food is good too. Overall stay was superb..Completely rejuvenated !! I strongly recommend this resort for a group of corporates looking for some place to chill and relax. Families will love this place too. Great hotel, great location, nice place and staff.Tragically our door didnt lock from the inside so when it came to locking the door at night, I had to lock it from the outside and walk all the way around the apartment block and walk through the back door to have our door locked at night.Other than that, really enjoyed our stay here

Spent 4 nights here in January 2015. Had a good stay. Great location close to the beach. Some really stylish touches but also areas that look a bit tired. Largely very friendly and helpful staff. Nice food. Area itself was very quiet which was fantastic for relaxing but not so great in the evenings.

Hotel is good. Beach is very close, at walk able distance. The only problem we faced was that washrooms don't have any ventilation.

This place is very far of Airport it took 2 hrs to reach mandrem and taxi charge 1800 nice location, nice beach one of the finest and clean beach nice property but very far and due to off season rainy season we found all the cottages packed up to save from water and we got room instead of cottage ,electricity problem was there generator was there but due to low occupancy they were little reluctant.

We went for a 3 night stay at Riva Resort in the month of July. Off season/monsoons is a good time for couples/honeymooners or people looking for peace and quiet away from the hustle bustle of the city. The resort has a fabulous location and has a lot to offer. Being close to Arambole beach, gives access to great choice of restaurants at walkable distance.The staff gave the excuse of the monsoons for the poor maintenance, even the linen in the rooms were not so great when we first went in. We requested for a change, which the staff was very nice about and immediately provided good service. Food was great though a very limited menu, breakfast was slightly disappointing. Wi-fi in the restaurant was good. The beach was a great serene stretch of lovely clean sand, and a lifeguard kept out a watchful eye on us, which was reassuring. We missed our train back, but The Resort was very helpful in arranging a cab for us and assisting us with information. Overall stay was very relaxing!!

Booked Online via Expedia. Confirmed by booking through phone and requested a sea facing room. But was informed that the one I booked was not sea facing, hence they would upgrade me when I arrived (depending on availability, fair enough!!). We were given a sea facing room when we arrived :) The room itself was spacious and clean. The manager was very courteous and accommodating. Food was great.

Me and my husband stayed for a night. We had a hassle free and peaceful time here at riva. Ideal for a couple hangout . for group hangouts better to go to Baga and Calanagute beaches. Food was decent but crab specialties were not available. Proximity to beach is a plus point as well as the hotel staff was very helpful. Though breakfast spread was limited. Overall, a nice place but the staff needs to work on cleanliness of upholstery. The beach beds in our balcony had a lot of stains on it.

Overall my experience staying here was aesome. The property is beautiful...surrondings is calm...i loved it.
