The room and bed were nice. We especially like the shower instead of bathtub option. But the breakfast was lacking. The coffee was lukewarm and they offered to replace it, but we had to leave before they could do that. And there were only muffins, pecan rolls, yogurt, and fruit. Otherwise, it was a convenient place to stay.

The room had some roaches and bedbugs. Floor was sticky and TV was impossible to find channels. Foren girl at front desk was clueless and unhelpful

I rented 3 rooms for my guest we had to leave at 11 because of bed bugs and roaches. We went to the front lobby and they would not give us our money back.
One room none of the electrical plugs work in the room.

Staff was so friendly and helpful. They put coffee out for us early. Excellent breakfast, rooms not fancy but completwly clean and comfortable.

We stayed here just to have a day to ourselves. We stayed in.The hotel room the whole night and fetching dinner was really close. It was very clean. At forst the room was very hot though and was at 81 degrees the whole day while we waited for the AC to kick in. It finally did overnight. the weekend from receptionist was very nice, however, I left my prescription glasses in the room and have been calling them since I left. Everyday. I was told head of custodial would call me back and they never did Every time Ive called.

Spacious parking, easy access from the highway. Only one ice machine and Ice machine was usually empty and then was broken. Good security cameras and parking lot lights for added security. Large pool, Hardwood flooring, mini fridge and microwave in the room. Front desk staff was cordial. No hot breakfast during the week, no hot coffee ready, pastries and donuts looked stale. Sheets and bed linens seemed clean, floors swept, not mopped.

Need hotels who dont cater to gangs
I guess you don't like truth. The "gang" stole thousands of dollars worth of medicine from my room, after I asked the owner to put me in a closer more visible room. So, yeah, not safe.

Cons: Floors had a residue on them, no where to hang towels or clothes up, iron board had no cover on, no hair dryer. Styrofoam cups for coffee in the room didn’t have a protect cover on them.

I have stayed at this place many time, however, this was the last time I will go there. The rooms are okay, no frills. The pool area was horrible. Pool was not cleaned and the pool furniture was not usable. Looks like this place needs a total overhaul. There was no real breakfast served just some cereal in canisters with milk and 3day old bananas. I was sorry to see it in such disrepair. Great location it should be doing better!

The Lakeview Inn is in an excellent location, right on Lake Granbury, close to downtown and resturants. The only negative was our room had a slightly musty smell, but it was clean, updated and well supplied with a TV, coffee pot, microwave and mini-fridge. The staff was courteous and we enjoyed our over night stay at the Lakeview Inn.

Check in was a little slow. Breakfast options were minimal. Check out was at 11, but housekeeping was knocking on the door at 8:15. No shower curtain, so the floor became super slippery even with a towel for a mat. Light switch on the wall controlled the power to the microwave. Room had a heavy smoke smell. Have stayed here once before with no issues, but probably would not stay here again.

Cute little place right beside the lake. Room was great. Large and clean. People were so nice. They let us check in a little early and were extremely helpful on our trip. We will be back.

Person at the front desk was really nice. Location was good, close to everything. Only issue were the floors were really sticky as if they mop it with a dirty rag/ water. But it was inexpensive, so I guess you get what you pay for?

BED BUGS! BEWARE! This place is horrible! The pool is green, the AC didn’t work properly and rattled, the room smelled putrid. We also we unfortunate enough to wake up to a bed bug infestation. When we went to the front desk to discuss and asked for the Manager the clerk acted like they didn’t understand what we were talking about and kept asking us if he had a dog, we had no pets fyi. The clerk asked for our info and said it would be given to the manager to contact us, we haven’t heard from anyone. I also emailed the property with no response. We left and destroyed our luggage to not transport the bed bugs elsewhere. I do have pictures for reference.

I’ve been coming to Granbury for a long long time usually staying here while visiting family. It’s probably been 3 maybe 4 years since I’ve been here. However I’ve always stayed at the Lakeview Inn. After this last visit I no longer will.
The pool was not open and green and made the courtyard area smell bad.
The room Friday night was NOT clean nor did the AC work properly. After attempting to sleep in the room I visited the office, but only after calling someone off site was the night clerk “allowed” to move me to another room. The next room although clean and with working AC smelled horrific.
This once used to be a wonderful little Inn to stay in. Now it’s nightmare.

Overall - good stay. The help was very friendly and the breakfast was good. The pool was not open as promised, that was disappointing. The coffee pot had moldy coffee grounds in it. And the room could have been a little cleaner. Would probably go again. No direct access to lake. Photos need to be updated they are not completely accurate.
