Its good value for money. The place is tidy. Air Conditioning works well. The biggest complaint we had there was a sewerage smell coming through the shower drain, which was quite bad. But still the value is very good.

Comfortable and quiet place, cheap, nice and helpful staff, clean room, a bit old facilities, far away from patong beach.

That was our second visit in Sun Hill Hotel. And again we met with very friendly and helpful staff. Food always was fresh and delicious. Very close to every attractions of Patong.

What a great stay at the Sun Hill Hotel. If I were to come back to Pa Tong I would stay again. Friendly staff, good restaurant, nice walk to the main strips (10mins) quiet, large, clean rooms. Great size chilled pool area and well priced for the high season (New Years) can’t think of anything negative - all positive! Thank you for looking after us! :)

Located on Nanai Rd, a popular area, this hotel ticked all the boxes for us.Lovely, friendly staff, clean, spacious rooms, nice swimming pool and breakfast included all for an amazingly low rate. It was low season, granted so it is cheaper and quieter but we will definitely be staying there again.

Was meant to stay a week, left after the first night. Room did not supply toiletries, kettle or facilities and tv was not working. Requested a kettle; did not receive. The floors was so dirty and had not been clean that we had to clean the floors ourselves, bathroom looked old and curtains, bedsheets, basin had stains. The room was not secure, could not lock door from inside the room, the lock was altered and for some reason had paper lodged into it. The area itself felt as though it was in a red district, felt unsafe as there was prostitution, rowdy bars and wasn’t very welcoming. It was abit out of reach from what’s to see too, disappointing hotel which did you deliver according to the overview.

Hotel was amazing!! Service was awesome, room was spacious n clean. Front desk was always smiling and willing to help/please you any way they can. I will most def come back here.

We have a 10 yr old kid with us, it was 2AM, he was obviously tired and needed to sleep and they wouldn't let us check in even though we had already paid through this service. I was disgusted.

Worst experience I have ever had. I stayed two nights here including the New Year's Eve. The air conditioning is not working two times at a night. I asked the front desk, they kept saying they are not the boss, couldn't make decisions. I have to take the taxi to airport at 6:00am. I couldn't get any sleep and head to airport directly. In this case, I don't know why I have to book a hotel........why not just sleep at airport.....I can't do anything since I will go back to my hometown tomorrow

Everthing is great except there is no light in the pool, but the staff promised to fix it soon. I hope so, lol.

Sun Hill Hotel is ideal for those seeking a peaceful and quite area in Phuket, yet wish to be close to the beaches, shopping and entertainment areas of town. The rooms are very spacious with some offering a kitchen and table. For me, on a writing journey, this was the perfect place to stay. The hotel staff is caring and dedicated. The hotel has a swimming pool and a restaurant for your convenience. It is located at approximately 20-minute walk from Jungceylon a major shopping center and 5 more minutes more to the beach. Verdict: Highly recommended.

We travel to Thailand 3 or 4 times a year and this was our first time at Sunhill after a bad experience with another hotel. The staff at Sunhill are excellent, the rooms are big and the pool was clean. My wife had surgery in Phuket so we requested a ground floor room. Our back door lead out to the pool so was great for her to relax. Its in a quite area about 15-20 minute walk to the beach and Bangla RD. Lots of Massage places, eating places both restaurant and street vendors close by and a laundry lady across the road. I'm a coffee snob and even the coffee was good. We didn't eat in the restaurant as we eat local street food and with friends but it looked ok. The hotel offer motor bike hire that is well priced to others in Patong.

We were recommended this hotel by a friend and it turned out to be a gem ,relatively quite area, good room size hotel management and all the staff were brilliant they could not do enough to help or assist in any way the rooms spotless and free HBO on the TVs excellent wi Fi we would definitely stay here on any future visits to Patong

I went with my friends for holiday and stayed here for 3 nights.Hotel is located at about 1.5 kms from Patong beach which is the main area of Phuket. As far as accessibility is concerned if you are planning to rent a bike/car or if you dont mind walking 1.5 kms, then it is nicely located. Overall, it was a good experience at that price.Positives:-We took a deluxe room, it was nice and tidy.-Balcony view was also good. You will get view of swimming pool.-Room was cleaned on time. Service was good.-Located away from hustle of the patong beach. So, you will get a good relaxing sleep at night.Negatives:-You will not get enough options for breakfast which is included as part of you hotel stay.Even the lunch menu has not much to server apart from local thai food.-Located a little far from the main market area.-No in house spa/massage service

I had asked for a room with direct access to the pool , i could not get any closer open door and pool was a few paces from my patio area, very pleasant.
