It was very convenient for us, clean & quite plus a very good restaurant.

A very pleasant place to be with views of the water. Rooms could do with some updating but v reasonable rates for the great location.

The bathroom was the smallest I have seen EVER but the room was basic, quite spacious, clean well heated and with a comfortable bed, so by all accounts should have been a comfortable stay....but instead of the Boat Harbour view we were led to believe in advertising we had an asphalt car park and rubbish skips outside our window. The Hotel is nothing more than a residential style, old tower about a bloc away from the harbour. The penthouse suite perhaps?offers a view of the harbour but all we had was a view of an asphalt car park with rubbish skips outside our window. It was disappointing and when I complained I was told that all the rooms have identical furnishings but the type of room ie Ocean View/Park view differentiate the accommodation rate. That makes sense and I accepted this explanation but it didn't say that Standard room has a car park and Rubbish skips outside and the promotional photos do not indicate this either. In most Hotels, rooms are differentiated by size of room, type of bed and facilities offered. But Boat Harbour Motel is nothing more that plain lies or deceptive marketing. Hotels.com were very supportive, but the hotel immovable on its stance. It is a pity because the stay would have been comfortable had the false expectations not been created. Transparency is a good policy at all times.

Great view! However, it does go down hill from there quite rapidly. The lack of room sound proofing to drown out pissed customers returning to their room at 2.30 am and continuing to carry on. To the staff telling you they dont provide any crockery as result of COVID 19 even though their in house welcoming instructions say they do. Moreover, the venue is tired and using artificial grass does not hide the fact.

Location, so nice right on the beach

This is a quiet, comfortable motel and very close to the harbour and beach facilities. My room was adjacent to the carpark which is brilliantly lit and made getting a dark room to sleep rather difficult. The little snack/cafe at the rear of the property is good. Use your phone map facility to get there as Wollongong has some odd one-way streets.

Nice friendly people, good clean rooms, close to the Marina and only a 15-20 casual walk to down town. Will stay again.

We loved that there was a microwave abc sink in the room. The room was well set out, and the bed was comfortable and cozy. Everything we needed for a great night's stay.

We only stayed one night and altho the staff were great, the premises are very much in need of renovation. Our room was large but had nowhere to sit to watch TV except the bed. The table had only one chair. The bed was not comfortable ad the bathroom too small. I felt it was overpriced for the conditions.

Nice sized renovated rooms within walking distance to great cafes and the harbour. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and friendly.

Older style motel in lovely location with views of the harbour from most rooms. Our bed wasn't great but overall was reasonably priced.

Had let arrival and the staff were very helpful and organised for our arrival, very close to manny restaurants and cafes, rooms are a little dated but comfortable bed and great views

We have stayed here twice now. Great location and value for money. Probably need to fix the aircon as it was very loud.

The location is great. The building is old but nicely kept. The last time I was there the restaurant was open and the patrons were Very loud in their farewell to the other diners. So I was very lucky to be there on a night that the restaurant was closed.

Bathroom was outdated and toiletries were not satisfactory. Towels were not pleasant and not large enough. If you want people to pay $$$ you really need to upgrade this property

The property is slightly aged, but well presented and clean. And the main drawcard is the views and close proximity to the harbour, with the lighthouse and beach a small stroll away. Lovely cafe downstairs aswell.

Nice old place, i had got what i paid for (cheap). And got everything i needed. Would recommend this place.
