Ok for odd night in London

Couldn't have asked for more from a budget hotel stay, especially one in such a great location.

One night stay with family. Room provided separate bedrooms, a fan, and aur conditioning which was much needed due to unusually high temps in London. It was convenient and walking distance to train and sightseeing spots. Nothing fancy, but suited our needs. Bed not comfortable. Need better soap / shampoo dispensers and shower door needs fixing.

Comfortable spot for pricey London. Air conditioner worked well. Smelled a bit musty and it was very hard to get ahold of reception before I arrived.

Stayed here many times and always had a good stay. Clean and comfortable bed. Good shower. On the bus route I need so very convenient. I will be returning.

Got given a free upgrade to a bigger room. Had a kitchen with washing machine. Nice surprise, ideal if on a longer trip. Ideally located for the reason of my trip. Tube 10 minute walk away. NIce and secure hotel.

The hotel receptionist was helpful. I had made a double booking and had only cancel one! He managed to have the second booking cancelled free of charges. We stayed on a hotel.com booking

Vey good value for the price. Friendly, helpful staff. Interesting neighborhood with a unique character - maybe familiar to the residents, but quite a change from an American perspective.

The location is good. Bus stop a few feet from the hotel. The hotel is okay but the mattresses and pillows are awful. They need to be replaced. The hair dryer in the bathroom was broken and the one they supplied instead had a plug that could not be used in the bathroom. There was no outlet near a mirror to see how to dry our hair. And they want us to recycle towels but there is no place to hang them. Overall not very comfortable and we were happy to leave.

Got a free upgrade to a larger room. It was great to have the kitchen and washing machine during my stay. Friendly staff.

For a low-priced option I was happy with this place. Came back every day to a sparkling clean room (as clean as you could make the room at least) More than what I expected, but not much more. Solid option if you're staying in the area and don't want to spend too much $$$

The hotel is in a great location and the staff were all really friendly. We were surprised with an upgraded room which was lovely. While it’s a little dated in the rooms, they were absolutely clean and comfortable. My only issues why I wouldn’t give 5* is that the curtains didn’t cover the whole window so was very bright, there was an alarm which went off repeatedly in the morning and the walls were thin so you could hear housekeeping in the morning. Not ideal if you want to sleep in after being out but we were allowed a late check out and overall I would happily stay again for the price

Very quiet and clean

The room was clean but the facilities are in dire need of an upgrade. The floor was uneven, the paint was flaking and worst was the ceiling creaking from the guests upstairs walking about in their room. The bedding was passable and the bathroom was respectable. I knew I wasn’t going to sleep comfortably so I left without spending the night and went to the EasyHotel nearby. You get a superior accommodation for the same price.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and wanted to share my thoughts. Pros: The hotel seamlessly blends modern amenities with the charm of its old building.The rooms were spotless, the front service was friendly and helpful staff that contributed to a positive overall experience. The hotel's location offers convenient access to various restaurants and pubs. Cons: Small Rooms: While the rooms are clean and well-maintained, they are on the smaller side, which may be a consideration for those who prefer more spacious accommodations. Overall, my stay was enjoyable, and I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in a convenient location with plenty of dining options around. It's clean and the reception staff were pleasant and friendly both during check in and check out. The walls are a bit thin so you can hear noise from people walking in the room above, but it wasn't too disruptive. Also there can be some noise and flashing lights from the street outside depending on which way your room is facing. Otherwise, comfortable stay and would choose again.

Stayed here a few times now. Always very clean . Rooms have a kettle and fridge. Good shower. Reception staff were friendly and professional. Sainsbury just down the road.

Staff were good. Unfortunately I had a room at the front of the property on the main road so was understandably noisy.

Easy check in and close proximity to Hoxton Station. Rooms could do with a refresh as a little dated and bedding could do with an upgrade to better quality. It was warm with the heater and bathroom was clean and shower powerful. Furniture and wallpaper could do with being refreshed but adequate for 1 night

Close to underground. The room was clean and spacious. Out of my expectations , there is a kitchen and a washing machine is provided. Everything in the kitchen were tidy and clean. But the walls are too thin, so the talking of our neighbour rooms in the midnight became a nuisance to us. There is no hooks in the toilet for hanging towels/ clothes .

A very tired old hotel with a leaky shower, very limited service but in a convenient area if you want to stay in Shoreditch.
