What a gem. We had a well-lit, immaculate, well cared for room. We had an accessible room, so I’m not sure about other rooms, but ours was spacious as well. You can tell the owners care about this place and about how the stayis for the guest. you may see some review saying this is an older place, and I guess it is, but you wouldn’t know by how well kept up. The grounds are beautiful. Here is an example of attention to detail: While checking out, my husband mentioned off hand there was not a pen in the room to fill out a comment sheet And Melissa at the desk was completely surprised and explained that after the cleaners leave another person checks to make sure nothing is missing! It turned out. I had the pen with my things, and my husband didn’t know that so we did have a pen in the room, but because of his error, we found that someone checks the room, even after the cleaners leave. That really shows how mich they care. We’re traveling across country and staying multiple nights in some places and others just moving on. We were only one night here and boy did we regret we hadn’t booked additional nights!

NIce place but . . . no breakfast, and no option for loading apps on the TV so we could watch the football game on Amazon Prime. For what they charge, they should include breakfast. Nice view of the river from the high-top table in the room, but the seats on the balcony are standard height, so the railing blocks the view of the river.

Very beautiful place, nice and clean.

This was our very favorite property on our 17 road trip through Oregon. The river view room was fantastic. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed 1 night for the Roundup. Perfect ground floor so our car was right by our room. Bed was comfortable, room was clean and smelled clean. Will return

Loved the views from the kitchenette river view room. Loved the beautiful grounds surrounding property and the views. Room was very comfortable and loved the kitchenette made some delicious meals to go with our amazing views. Can't wait to come back

We enjoyed this hotel so much that we extended our stay just so we could continue to enjoy the amazing view and surroundings and quiet beauty. The landscaping was like walking into a botanical garden. Each room we stayed in had a beautiful healthy live plant. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. We will stay at Westcliff Lodge again anytime we are in the area.

Great big room

Nice views from the rooms that face the river. Definitely preferable to be on the second or third floor. The noise from the highway can be a bit loud at times. You need to drive to get to a restaurant or a coffee shop

Westcliff Lodge is such a gem! Gorgeous location and property, well-maintained rooms and landscaping, excellent service! We love the view from our room and also the other places that we have sat and relaxed at.

River views

Quiet gem near Hood River-spacious rooms-we were on the second floor and had a little outside area to sit-beds were very comfortable-large room and bathroom-highly recommend 😊❤️

Our room had a lovely view of the river and the beautiful garden. The balcony was in need of new outdoor carpeting. The bed was very comfy.

A very handsome green area overlooking the river. A bit of a throwback feel to the place with large rooms. Pleasantly surprised by the facility.

This property is an absolute gem. Usually the pet friends my rooms are not as fresh. The room was very clean and spacious. They had wooden ceilings and beams that added to the lodge feel. We had a really nice view of the river. The really spectacular feature of this property is the beautiful grounds. We loved taking our dogs on walks. They even had little dog waste stations on the property. The property and room were very clean. It is super close to downtown and the Hood Mountain Railroad. Which is why we came to Hood River to take the Summer train tour.

Beautiful view of the Columbia River out the window. The rooms were quiet. The property was set up with space for walking and sitting gazing at the river. The rooms were clean and set up nicely. Excellent place to stay.

Court view rooms are huge. Bathroom was huge. Spotlessly clean. Landscaping was stunning.
