Comfortable room. Plumbing was noisy, next doors two screeched when used. Wifi kept dropping and was basically useless. Shower had a patch over a hole.in the floor,so needs replacing. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, heat pump good, kitchen small but adeququate, the ice cabinet needed defrosting, it was iced up. .

Great central area, room was tidy and looked nice. Bathroom was in dire need of some upkeep most things were usable but broken like the taps and shower head, soaps were leaking in the shower which led to the drain overflowing with bubbles when taking a shower in the morning! Sink also leaked water all over the floor somehow? The noise from the neighbours using the water next door right next to our heads sounded like a tv playing white noise at 150dcbls! But lucky they didn’t use it long or during the night. Check in and out was super easy and didn’t even see anyone

Being a last minute booking I didn’t expect much but wow. Very nice beds, very clean and a very nice walking path but the water stream.

Right by the township, so everything is within walking distance. Easy check in and check out. Our family unit was warm, spacious and comfortable, with all the usual comforts. Including instant internet access and plenty of power points for charging our devices etc.

It was great experience. Awesome location near water stream flow , really good for meditation. Also leaving close by shops, Bars and restaurants just 2mins walkable distance.

Loved the range of hot drinks available in our room - peppermint leaves, chai, hot chocolate, etc.

Good location, clean & tidy room, love the individual locked dry room very much but the room is too close to the road, was awakened by vehicle noise in night time.

Super easy check in and good communication. A bit of traffic noise from the main road but the location is incredibly convenient to the centre of Ohakune and the rooms are well made up and clean.

Very convenient, beautiful location. A great place for family to enjoy with kids. All main locations are at walkable distance.

Property was fine. Clean, tidy and right in the middle of town, so close to everything. It was a little disconcerting having no f2f contact with any staff during the stay.

Lovely room and the back of the property had a running river through it. Very special. Clean and easy access to the room up a few steps. Comfy beds and lovely assortment of teas. Would recommend!

Great location in Ohakune With restaurants and gas station close by. The room was small but had everything we needed including the kitchenette.

A 2 night break away. Comfy bed, quiet, pleasant. No reception on site so ring the number on the door for instructions. Room was ready to access. But no hot water the first night when we went to use the shower. Person staying next door said they had the same issue the previous night. Rang manager who was on the scene immediately to rectify issue. After 20 mins we had hot water. Room service was very average. It was very basic & rudimentary. No attention to detail. Bed made, 2 towels chucked on the table. Floor mat still on the floor of the shower, used hand towel I'd thrown on a rail & wet used face flannel I'd left in handbasin were not removed or replaced. Shower condiments not refilled, lucky we had our own soap to use. Shower base needs a better clean, corners missed & a spray of bleach around bottom of doors & shower base to remove soap scum & mould buildup would contribute to overall presentation. Bathroom floor needs a good vaccum or mopping as dust build-up around toilet & vanity. Hairdryer holder hasn't been wiped in ages, obvious dust buildup. Also need adequate cutlery & mugs for a 3 person room. I'm not being picky, I used to clean hotel rooms so have an eye for detail. And as I was paying $160 a night I still expected quality. Otherwise the accommodation is within easy walking distance to eating & other shops. Great location & comfortable.

Our stay with Snowhaven was for one night. While it was cost-effective, we were placed in a unit on the main road. Unfortunately, we heard every truck that passed by our room throughout the night. Not a great sleep. The upside it was convenient to the local shops and restaurants and cosy.

Clean & Tidy. Right in the village - so easy access to everything there. Reception was not open when we arrived - but we were given a phone number to call to check in.

Perfect for our overnight stay in Ohakune. Easy walk to restaurants for dinner and the room was warm clean and tidy.

We throughly enjoyed out stay, check in was contactless and easy. Home was tidy and moslty clean, found the walls very thin between units and could hear neighboring televisions. Great serene walk through the back of the property

I received a text on my way to Ohakune that my room was ready. Just had to park and head to my room, keys were on the bed and dropped keys in the drop box when i checked out the following morning. Bed was comfortable and shower had good water pressure and stayed hot. Walking distance to nearby food and market. I was hiking in the area so definitely a recommended place to stay and will be back next winter.
