Floor Drain in shower not flowing correctly, had Floor mat Outside Shower and water from shower just Flowed straight Floor matt. Looks like attempt made to do nice Tiling but Fall not correct. Water also leaking from above Shower head. Water also hitting Window and Splashing over Toilet. Room looks clean apart from small mouldy section in Shower on Glass Bracket. Still yet to sleep in bed but Noticed these items first.

The motel is clean and the staff are friendly. They were busy when we stayed and we had to wait two hours for our room. They should have messaged us to let us know that they were running late. Some cleaners did not turn up which caused the delay. Our room was cleaned in a rush. They forgot to leave bath towels and a sheet for the sleeper couch. There was only one towel between the four of us. No soap in the bathroom but there was shampoo and conditioner. It is a good motel, they just need to improve their communication. The staff were friendly and apologetic. It’s a nice quiet area and the room was comfortable.

I am unable to rate this property as I had not received the code to get a key. I was virtually stranded with my two young grandchildren and then had to find somewhere else to stay.

One of the best motels I’ve stayed at, nice modern facilities, loved having the little garage for my car under the room, separate bedroom with own AC, ease of check-in was impressive. Only negative thing I could say is the kitchen utensils weren’t all properly clean when I arrived, but some were and were fine to use so still 9/10 overall.

Easy book in and key collection. Room warm when we arrived. Pet friendly although not sure if there's grass for pets apart from the nature strip. Stayed one night so found the property very convenient.

The River Motel is a very clean and pleasant place to stop, with a good room layout, easy check-in and convenient dining options nearby.

No overview of bathroom in the 2 bedroom unit when booking. The bathroom was old, floor tiles were dirty and it had a small. Other rooms options within this motel where the bathrooms are photographed are renovated and clean. I did not expect an old and dirty bathroom for the price of this room.

We had a family suite upstairs with a garage underneath. The room was clean and good condition. Spa bath was out of order but we wouldn't have used that anyway. Was a good room, especially for the price. Room was comfortable size for the 4 of us as we were only in the room after dinner until morning both nights we stayed. Check-in and check-out was the easiest I have ever experienced. Had a code to get the key out of the lockbox and a box to return the key. Dont have to actually speak to anyone. Was in a good location for us, we had a car but was a nice easy walk over the bridge to town or up the road to the fast food places. Motel was in a quite spot and was perfect the first night. The last night we stayed the place was at capacity and we had inconsiderate neighbours who made a lot of noise. I don't think you'd hear any other noises unless it is people right near your room. Only issue we had was no hot water on the second morning and was told when they are a capacity you need to wait about half an hour for it to reheat. After an hour and a half it was still ice cold. Staff advised that the fuse went on the hot water system. Ended up with a part refund.

Easy check in and access. Very pet friendly with good room sizes and parking right outside the room. Response rate was slow on queries but otherwise very enjoyable time

Checked in 4 adults only 3 towels. Not enough milk. Dirty glasses left in fridge. The room was clean 🙂 though.
