An older property, but mostly well kept and conveniently located. It's at the lower end of the price range and met our needs well.

Older place but clean and comfortable!

This was a good stay for a night while passing through the area. Good value for the price.

Value for cost is good. Nice and quiet. A little isolated.

The manager was unhelpful and gruff (we were confirmed for a king and got 2 queens) and he was wandering around outside in his bathrobe smoking in the morning. The place is rundown and overpriced- even for that area. The people who cleaned the rooms did a great job and were very friendly.

The woman manning the front desk waited past closing for us, and was so kind and gracious. The room was nice and clean, and the bed was comfortable.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Yellowstone. It's what you'd expect from a motel in a tiny town: a bit rundown, not the cleanest place, but it was a place to sleep. Staff was nice, the motel has a log cabin-theme exterior, and at the back of the property is a play area with swings and horseshoes that our kids loved playing on. Our room was ok, the floors were gritty to the point where we wore socks so we didn't have to go barefoot, and there were dirty towels under the sink. Beds were very creaky, and good luck sleeping with the very loud air conditioner turning on and off all night. Again, it was a cheap place to stay but I wouldn't go back.

No shampoo or body wash and there was a rigged up air conditioner that vented through the window that didn’t allow the blinds to completely shut.

Only there for overnight. The room was clean and quiet. From the pictures on the website, it looked nice. It was not what I expected for $143.19.

We stayed here because my child had a hockey tournament in Hailey. The front desk lady was the cutest! She was so nice and welcoming. These were a bit dated and the comforters and pillowcases had holes in them from being so old, however It was one of the cheapest places to stay. They also have units that allow pets. pretty awesome if you ask me. The bed was not comfy for me at all, but i'm pretty picky. If I were to recommend anything it would be to invest in some new bedding.

This is the second time we have stayed at High Country Motel. It was very quiet and the staff were very helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

“You cost us $30 a night” is how I was greeted. Beware: they do not appreciate online booking here. Otherwise, clean and your typical motel.

Clean, service OK although TV not working and staff knew this. Tub handle ready to fall off. Place needs some work and not all that cheap to stay there.

This property has an old fashion western theme. The rooms are homey, cozy and clean. With a full size apartment refrigerator with full freezer! The manager was very nice and accommodating, recommending places to eat.

Small town comfort and charm.

Okay for a quick overnight stay.

Especially loved the picnic area and the back rooms. Very quiet there. Fire pit, benches and table was so nice. Even had wood, lighter fluid and grills. Also a swing area for kids. Would definitely stay here again.

Outside looks tend to belie the accomodations inside. Do not be putoff by the 50-ish "courtel" appearance. Inside was microwave, full-size fridge, coffee-maker, and ample towels. Two Queen beds and updated bathroom & shower.this was

The manager worked well with our late arrival and communicated well with us. We appreciated her. We couldn’t get the tv to work and couldn’t get the bathtub water turned on, but it was quiet and we were grateful to have a place to stay for the night.

Room was nice and clean, across the street from a gas station and convenience store.

This is a sweet little gem of a motel! Clean, rustic log cabin furniture, full fridge. Nice mom& pop motel. Parking right outside your room convenience like the old days. I’d be happy to stay here again.

The walls between rooms are so thin, you can hear the conversations next door. If you or your spouse are a screamer, stay somewhere else.
