Very cute, Clean and an updated place . Easy to access from the parking. Liked it was on the ground floor. The only downside was a weak wifi connection.

The room was spotless and clean. The young lady in the office was extremely nice when we went to grab some ice. My only complaint was the bed, it wasn’t comfortable. Please tip the hard working ladies that clean the rooms as we did because it was beyond spotless !

We went to Solvang for a couple's getaway. Viking Inn was fantastic as it was close to the main shops but also removed to where it felt like a break from the hustle and bustle of the busy shops. The layout of the inn was great as we only shared a wall with one other room, but it was the bathroom wall. Viking Inn notes that they're remodeling, which is super understandable, and it's great that they're making improvements. My partner and I loved it and enjoyed the biking option. We also loved the Wine Passport! My partner and I loved the recommendations for wine tasting! While some minor repairs are needed, you can tell that this inn is being remodeled with lots of attention to detail and care. This inn was very thoughtful in their care for guests, and we are certainly returning! Thank you, hosts, for being so attentive and understanding and letting us come by to see your dog!

This place was so cute! Easy to get to your room, didn’t even need to talk to anyone. Very clean, and beautiful! Parking is a little tricky but other than that awesome place !

It was great. Location right T beginning of strip so u can walk into town.
Place was nice, quite, and cute. I would stay again.
My only complaint is i wish we would have known we could just leave and automatically be checked out. Thought we had to stay and talk to staff when office opened, we just woke up early and wanted to go.
Also, if you need anything, there is a convenient store right across the street.

This property was a great place to spend one night while driving through Solvang. The parking lot is small but it’s in walking distance to everything and has everything you need. I’m not sure I would spend longer than that here, the rooms are on the smaller side and it was a very no frills stay. It’s been updated and the aesthetic is awesome but it would’ve been even better if they had also redone the showers and purchased new mattress bases however for the price we paid it was perfect.

I am not fond of instant coffee and would have preferred a regular coffee pot or a Keurig. But, not a big deal, with all the coffee shops in Solvang.

The remodel is nice, but the walls are paper thin, the shower tub was broken clogging up the tub as I showered, the bed squeaks a lot and is so uncomfortable. The location is great with the market across the street really convenient. I used my points for this room, but don’t think I’d book a full price stay.

Our stay was great. Easy online check in. We had our room # and code for the door sent via text before getting there. That was the best! The location was perfect, diagonal from Paula’s Pancakes which was the best breakfast. Room was super clean and smelled fresh and clean. It had a great bungalow vibe.

The place shows that someone has taken the property and given it some real thought on the reno. It is all well done - nothing too fancy but enough to be clean and feel good when you check in. I would stay here again. Cindy was the front desk and she was fantastic and very nice. She even got us in early so we could get my son ready for his hockey event.

Overall OK stay. Definitely in the process of renovating. Wish the bathroom was updated and the room floors. Heating and cooling system very loud. But good location and responsive staff.
