Such a cute, quiet place to stay for a quick weekend getaway. We love it there and everyone is so welcoming and thoughtful.

Nice view of the lake

I stayed here for 8 days. Staff was friendly, room was comfortable, housekeeping was thorough. It was great to have a mini-fridge and microwave. I felt very safe at the location (I’m visibly LGBTQ, so this was especially important). Town closes early, but it’s a really quick drive to Kernville or Lake Isabella, so it wasn’t an issue to get food late. Easy drive to all sorts of hiking spots, and took two minutes to get to a park where you could walk along a beach at Lake Isabella. Most travelers only stayed a night or two, I guess between other locations, but staying longer was great. My only issue was that the walls are thin so it can get loud when other people check in. Really not a big deal, and the staff did a good job of spacing which rooms were occupied. Would happily stay here again!!

Comfortable stop-over

Donna was wonderful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Tv was awkward to use. Shower head did no flow well.

Would have been nice for the guest book to have instructions on the TV.

We got in sort of late, but the door had our key in an envelope. The hot water was not hot. But the great people here told us in the morning that they were sorry and helped us with a discount. Nice place.

The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The room was very simple and nice. The room was also clean, cozy, comfortable, and quiet.The view was fantastic. There are very few dining options in town but 5 minutes down the road there are several options. I would stay here again.

Property has a nice view of the lake. Not many eating options nearby. You need to travel to Kernville. Needs some paint and touchups but the property is fine.

Great location and a very nice hotel. Comfortable and easy

Had an issue with leaving a day early, and getting a revised folio and reimbursement for one night. Tried calling all day into the evening no answer. Finally Friday I called and the manager answered and she had already compensated me the two nights I stayed. I said that wasn’t necessary she insisted because that’s how she does business. She said she would speak to the employees so it doesn’t happen again. That’s awesome service.

Not too many places in Wofford Heights to stay but this is our 2nd time here and have no complaints. Room is small but expected and everything worked and was clean so no complaints. You can see the lake from there and easy access from the main road. There is really no night life so once the sun goes down there's hardly any traffic so stays really quiet.

We prepaid for 2 rooms. They only had 1 room when we arrived at 9:30PM. they said Expedia always screw this up and could do nothing about.

Excellent experience

The property was super clean and cozy. Easy to get to and close to Lake Isabella as well as some great shopping in Kernville and Silver City Ghost Town. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Bed was comfy. No complaints.

Clean, wonderful view of the lake and mountains. It was better than I had expected for the price. My only complaint was that the shampoo bottle fixed to the shower was empty. I could have asked for shampoos but I didn’t bother since I had my own. I’d stay here again.

Convenient for wofford heights

Omgosh the staff were so Awesome! I had my granddaughter with me for 2 days. Unfortunately, I guess I had contacted Covid in Ventura before coming. The lady in the office was so helpful. She told me if I needed anything just to let her now and she would bring it to me. I ended up adding another night to my stay five nights total, the best little motel I’ve been in in a long time.

Quiet little get away - perfect place to stage our discovery of the Kern River area and Lake Isabella. Very low key - perfect for our pet. We really liked our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again.
